 The petite stallion, who was often mistaken for a mare due to short stature and slim body, walked along the edge of the woods. Fighting against the harsh wind as it attempted to shove him back. His long mane was whipped back and forth, a puppet for the wind to play with, often getting in his face and blocking his view. With each step, he silently prayed that the feathers that had been weaved into his mane behind his ear and attached to his leather anklet wouldn't be swept away. Feathers from Zaitus' own wings that marked Ellial as his.
Normally on such days he would be hiding in a shelter with his mate, safe from the thrashing of the winds. What drew him out on this day and was worth risking the precious mementos from his mate? Family did.
Earlier, Enitan had approached him, asking to meet some more of their family. So here they were, venturing out to do just that. Following behind his father within the safety of the woods, the bright blue colt weaved between the trees with an expert ease. When within the shadows of the towering giants, Enitan felt right at home. These were his protectors, and his close friends. They whispered their secrets to him, and warned him when the shadows servants were on the move.
One never wanted to cross the path of a queeb without being prepared, else they might not live very long.

 Aiane was laying at the edge of a small clearing. The wind's were going faster the she would think possible and her hair was going all over. She was worried that with all this wind the flower her mate, Livius, had given he would fly away. It would probably be fine though, it's survived worse weather before since she alway's lived outside with her mate, and till recently her three children. Who have grown up and left. Though her daughter had stayed longer she too left recently to explore the world. Though today in this horrid storm She waited for two of her children and a special someone, her grand child. Her mate was off somewhere else, that was fine she'd see him soon. As she waited she heard over the whooshing of the wing crashing sound's of someone going threw a bush the hard way. She smiled and pulled her head up. "Livi your here so soon? Your brother and nephew wont be here for a while." She had to shout to be heard but even still she sounded gentle and kind like she alway's did. Livi was in awe by the strength of these wind's. She did her best to memorize her hard it was whipping at her hair, had how dry it made her eye's. How the noise of it rushing past her ear's drowned out most other noise, and how the tree's seemed to bend to it's will. As she wandered into the clearing where she was to meet her family she almost didn't hear her mother even though the wind's were dying down. "Oh am I early? I didn't notice I was concentrating to much on the wind's effect on the surrounding habitat. So mum if they aren't coming yet why are you here so soon? Oh wait I bet you got here like an hour ago cause you couldn't wait to see you children again." A bashful smile told Livi she was right. She smiled and stood next to her mom waiting for her brother and his son.

Ellial wondered just how much longer he would have to deal with these winds. His eyes turned heavenwards as he sent up a silent prayer for the spirits to give pause to the thrashing winds, if only for a while. The tendrils of long mane violently whipped around him, often blinding him or whipping against his back, feeling like little bee stings on impact.
As it seemed that the spirits weren't in the mood to answer his prayers, he wondered where the closest shelter might be. When he found his family, they could move their little get together to a more comfortable area and wait out the oncoming storm together.
Ellial gave pause when he saw two forms up ahead. Lips pulled into a smile as he let out a shout of greeting that was quickly carried away by the winds. He glanced to make sure Enitan still followed before trotting towards his sister and mother.
So caught up within the whispering that only he could hear, the foal nearly forgot that he was meant to be following his father. It was only happen stance that kept his steps going in the same direction as Ellial's.
The sound of a shout, though he couldn't make out what was shouted, drew Enitan's attention. He lifted his head and blinked bright blue eyes as he returned back to reality. ...Oh!
Without hesitating, Enitan quickly scurried after his father. He emerged from the woods with excited steps, his pace increasing upon seeing what laid ahead.

Aiane's eye's brimmed with tears as she finally caught sight of her son that looked most like his father. She was over joyed by the presence of two of her children that she could barely contain her tears, but did. She even forgot that she was being harassed by strong winds. not wanting to wait anymore to see her child, and grand child, she trotted toward him ignoring the harsh winds and pressed her head onto his shoulder and smiled. "Hello son. How have you been? you've stayed clear of kalona right? or gone hungry? Though I guess that wouldn't be the case seeing as there's food available everywhere." Looking up at him and smiling wider she suddenly gasped. "Oh unless you went and lived in the dessert! You didn't do that right? That could be so dangerous and don't want my little boy to get hurt!" Then she remembered that he was bring someone else with him. Looking back and forth trying to locate the first grand child she would see and found him looking up with large blue eyes. "oh! How adorable. What's this ones name dear?" She said walking closer to the child.
Livi raced after her mom stopping only a little before she did as she approached her brother and nephew. "Hello brother. How have you been other then learning of the wonder of father hood. has life been good to you? Is being a father as magical as people make it out to be? How much has your life changed since you reared this child? Has you mind changed as well? Are you any different then you were before?" Her normal flood of questions didn't stop even in front of her brother she hadn't seen in a while.
