Myrtle had long since grown tired of watching after Tobias, especially when he decided it was fun to start messing up the rooms she had just cleaned. The Missus and her husband never believed her when she said she had cleaned them and that Tobias had run through afterward.
And so she found the number for the academy and demanded that they send someone Tobias's age over to play with him, at least for a few hours while she got everything under control.
"Mertle, am I goeeng to have a new friend?" Tobias stared up at her expectantly.
"With your behavior, it's not likely. You best shape up, no one will want to be your friend if you keep acting like a heathen child. Go get dressed in something nicer, the boy will be here soon." Myrtle shooed him out of the kitchen and into the hallway before shutting the door behind him.
Tobias stared at the door for a second before walking to his bedroom. He changed into a fleece white shirt, as well as a pair of fleece white pants and socks, but the socks had little rubber pads on the bottom so that he could still walk around without slipping and falling. He figured white was a nice color.

Lucia was the unlucky soul who had received the call from Myrtle, though she had willingly accepted the play date that was quickly set up for the two very active and attention hungry child. Thankful that she has gotten the next month off of work to have time with her newly adopted son, the petite woman helped dress the colorful boy in equally colorful, yet fashionable, clothing. Once she was satisfied with Jason's clothes; A blue long-sleeved ruched top that matched the blue spot of color in his hair, a nice little black 'vest' and a pair of khaki colored shorts with the boys favorite pair of converse on.
Grinning ear to ear, Jason held his mothers hand as they got into her green mini cooper and started off to the address that she had been given over the phone. "Momma momma! Imma meet new persons, yes? Yes yes yes yes yes?" The brightly colored boy asked as he bounced in the back seat, excited and obviously hyper thanks to his little adventure of finding a candy apple mix and devouring the candy coating powder with a glass of water last night. Lucia chuckled softly, "Yes, you're going to meet new people, one of them is a little boy just like you. Myrtle said his name is Tobias." she smiles to herself as she focuses on the road.
As they arrived at the mansion, Jason's eyes went wide and his little jaw dropped, "HUAGE HOOOOUSE!" he shouts, clawing at the window as his mother parks the car, wanting to get out. "Hold on, Jason!" The woman laughs as she gets out and walks over to the door, opening it and unbuckling the excited boy who fell out of the car, into her arms. "Mommaa! Why cant we live ina house liek this?" He asks, bouncing on the balls of his feet as he stands there, Lucia smoothing down his hair, "We can't afford the help to get such a big place." She coos, soon leading Jason up to the front door, ringing the doorbell but the boy started to bang on the door.
"NEW PERSONS LETTUS IN! We wanna veesiiit!" He shouted, banging on the door before his mother grabbed his wrists, "Jason, Jason stop! You don't bang on the door like that!" She shushes him, glaring a firm glare as she did. The boy quieted down, nodding as he puckered his lips.

Tobias skittered out of his room and down the hall as soon as he heard banging on the front door. Just as he was reaching up to grab the door knob, Myrtle, who had been a few paces behind him, slapped his hand away. "Move over there, I've told you time and time again that you are not to answer the door." Myrtle hissed as she moved Tobias off to the side.
The boy stared back at her with a pout, but allowed her to open the door for him. Myrtle opened the door and put on her best smile and moved aside. "Welcome, welcome. You must me Lucia and Jason, right? I'm so happy you were able to make it today. The missus had some errands to attend to and little Tobias wanted someone to play with..." She made a beckoning motion to let them into the house.
Tobias peered out onto the porch to see who had arrived and noted that the boy that he was supposed to play with looked awfully colorful. Suddenly he didn't think white was such a good color anymore.

Lucia smiled, "Yes, thank you for asking us to come I was hoping this little ball of energy would find a friend or two." the short worman chuckled a little as she walked in, gripping Jason's wrists tight enough so he wouldn't try pounding on the door, but when the fiery boy saw the other clad in all white he couldn't help but grin. Flailing his arms a bit, enough to get his mother to let go of him, after looking at him with a stern look which got a nod from him, the boy suddenly hugged the other child. "HIII! Im Jason, who're you?" He asks, colorful as always.
His mother shook her head, smiling a little before looking up at Myrtle. "I brought a few boxes of tea and some fruit from my last trip, I ended up buying some for myself and friends when I went to Africa last week and I figured it'd be a nice gesture of thanks for today." Lucia smiles as she rummages through her bag and holds out one box of expensive looking tea.

Tobi froze up as Jason suddenly flung his arms around him. He hadn't yet received a hug from anyone, his parents just gave him friendly pats on the head, same with Felicia. "A-ah... I'm Tobias. Yew can call me Tobi tho." Tobias slowly returned the hug, still appearing startled.
"Oh, bless your soul, you didn't need to do that." Myrtle placed a hand on her chest and shook her head. "Shall we set up a bit of a tea party..? The boys can get to know each other a little better before they run off to play that way." She offered Lucia yet another smile.

Jason continued to grin, happy that he got the hug back, though when he 'heard' Tobias speak and not move his lips, he stared at his mouth before poking the other boys lips with his finger. "You dun hafta open yer mouth to talk?" He asks curiously, tilting his head cutely as his hair poofs a little in curiosity. The little bird had never come across anyone who could do that, not even his daddy's friends could do that and they were wizards!
"Sure, though it'd be best if we gave them something with a little less caffeine, Jason got into something last night and he's been hyper since then." Lucia let out a slightly tired sigh as she cast a sideways glance to her son as she opened her bag to pull out another bag of tea. "This one doesn't have too much, it's Pomegranate Oolong tea, better than the stuff that they have in Caribou Coffee." She states with a firm nod and a smile, she knew her food and beverages well, she had to for her job.

Tobias blinked his eyes a few times, staring at the offending finger for a moment before turning his eyes to Jason's hair. Did it stand up like that before? No... "No, no has to. Wha's yer hair doin?" He reached up to place his hand on Jason's head, expecting his hair to be stiff rather than soft.
"Ah, I see. I'm not sure what effect caffeine will have on Tobias, the master has told us not to give him anything too sweet. He's a bit of a handful as it is." Myrtle nodded her head sympathetically. "This kitchen is this way... come along boys, we're going to have a bit of a tea party." Myrtle looked over to Jason and Tobias, found herself only momentarily wondering what Tobias was doing, but then started off for the kitchen.

"Oooh NEAT!" Jason nearly shouted as he moved his hand, having a feeling the other might bite his finger if he kept it there too long, but his attention was brought back to his floofy hair. Eyes looking up, as if he could see what his hair was doing, he wondered why people kept asking about his hair. He knew it was colorful but he still hadn't found out that when he was angry or curious it would raise or poof out like a bird's crest. "I unno.. you not the first one to point it oot tho.." Jason murmurs quietly before looking up at the woman who was taller than his mother, "Tea party?" He asked with wide eyes, his grin returning to his lips.
The mother nodded, knowing all too well what can happen if a young child is given something sweet or anything with large doses of caffeine. "Yeah.. sugar can do a number on them" Lucia giggled softly, reaching out to grab one of her sons hands so she could lead him to the kitchen, "Come on boy's, we're going to let you have some of the tea I brought home from my trip!"

"Is standin' up." Tobi frowned a bit... how could he not know what his hair was doing? Tobi figured he would know if his hair stood up randomly. He looked to Myrtle as she started walking away, and debated disobeying her, but since Jason and his mother were going along with her he opted to play along.
"Wha' kinda tea?" Tobias looked up at Lucia as he toddled along behind them. This time his little voice was loud enough for them all to hear.
"Ah, I forgot to mention that Tobias... has a unique way of speaking..." Myrtle glanced back at the boys and sighed a bit. Once in the kitchen she filled a kettle with water and put it on the stove.

The boy looked at Tobi when he heard what it was doing, "I fink it does tha' a loot. A gurl said it did it too.." he stated with a nod, squeezing his mothers hand before he got lead off to the kitchen. On the way to the kitchen, Jason's hair eventually de-poofed and flattened back to it's original size and shape for now.
Hearing the voice in her head, Lucia looked and nearly stared at Tobias before hearing what Myrtle had stated, "O-oh okay.. I uhm.. should've figured that they would have different powers. It's not the strangest thing I've seen in a few years." She chuckled weakly, thinking of all the magic that Geoffrey had showed her in the past few years. After a few moments, she looked back to the small child and smiled at him, "You two get to have a Pomegranate Oolong Tea, it's a fruity, sweet tea so you two should like it." She said with a gentle smile as she handed the box to Myrtle and glanced about the kitchen.
Jason was free to move about when his mother let go of his hand and once in the kitchen he quietly cheered to himself and started to run about the large room.

"How yew not feel it?" Tobi's brows furrowed in confusion. He looked to Lucia as she answered him, and glanced at Myrtle for a moment with a bit of a sour look. He was sure this lady didn't need an explanation on what he was doing. "Wha' if I dun laik it?"
That earned him a stern look from Myrtle. "Tobias, don't be so rude. It's only polite to drink the tea." Myrtle shook her head. She was distracted from her scolding as Jason suddenly took off running around the kitchen. She was momentarily worried that he would break something, but he seemed to be mostly okay...
Tobi watched Jason for a moment before looking down at his own feet. He hadn't really tried to actually run yet... He trotted after Jason, getting used to the feeling before he really tried to catch up. "Wait fer me! Wha' yew doin'?"

"If you don't like it, you don't need to finish it. I have a variety of other teas you can try if you don't like the taste of it." Lucia smiles at the little boy, watching him toddle off after her own son. Standing back up, she made her way over to Myrtle and whispered to her, "I also have a box of 'sleepy time' tea that Jason drinks all the time, it's Pomegranate flavored so they wouldn't really be able to tell the difference..".
Slowing down when he heard the other yelling, he stops and looks back at him. "I was lookin 'round! This ketchen is huage! Biggarer than the one at home." He grins brightly as he spins around, soon falling onto his rear with a soft thump. "Huage house is huage." Jason grins as he lays down on the floor to look at the ceiling.

"Ah... lets give them that one then... I have a feeling things will soon get out of hand." Myrtle nodded a little and fetched four teacups for them.
Tobi hobbled along behind Jason, having quickly run out of breath. "I-it is? Why yer kitt-chen nawt so big?" He sat down with a thump next to Jason and then lied down on his back as well. "SIIIIIGH.... running is hard!" He turned his head to look over at Jason and frowned a bit. "Yer house is smaller too? How yew live innit?"
Tobias had never seen houses outside of his neighborhood, and had therefore concluded that all houses were as big as his.

The shorter woman nodded as well, setting the box of sleepy time tea just behind the Pomegranate Oolong tea box, just in case the two boys happened to look over. "I'm guessing you take care of Tobias for most of the day?" She asked, wanting to strike up a conversation seeing as she felt that the silence between the two of them could get rather awkward, then again it's not like her husband was there showing off his magic which he loved to do.
Jason nodded, "Issa small house but biggerar than some nearby. Iss powlly halv the size of dis 'un." He stated in a matter of fact tone before rolling onto his side to look at the other. "Yew dun run much?" He asks curiously as he tilts his head.

"Ah, yes... the master and missus are fairly busy. Christopher, the butler, takes care of him occasionally, but he's usually busy." Myrtle nodded her head a little. "Do you stay at home with your son?"
"Only haff as big?" Tobi's eyes widened in surprise. "Tha's tainy.... no, dun run much. Mertle wud get angry." He shrugged his shoulders a bit, as well as he could on the floor, anyway.
