Drawing I did recently of Sophia. I colored her purple to give a royal and ethereal appearance. The veil symbolizes her willingness to return to her consort. The 3 Dekas in her crown represent her as being the 30th emanation. The nudity represents her exposing her true self to signify her desire to return home.

Edit: Oops. Misnamed the symbol

Oh, I see. I thought it might have had something to do with the way you represent her like the veil or the nudity.

She looks cute, and I like the colors you chose. The symbolism is quite interesting too.
Just curious, what did you use to color her?

Thanks heart
Color pencils (it's been so long since I've done anything in color pencils, hell anything colored in general). My fianceé darkened a little bit after scanning so the colors would show up.

A few passages I had in mind when I made this.

"Some are afraid lest they rise naked. Because of this they wish to rise in the flesh, and they do not know that it is those who wear the flesh who are naked. It is those who [...] to unclothe themselves who are not naked" - Gospel of Philip

"Jesus took them all by stealth, for he did not appear as he was, but in the manner in which they would be able to see him. He appeared to them all. He appeared to the great as great. He appeared to the small as small. He appeared to the angels as an angel, and to men as a man. Because of this, his word hid itself from everyone. Some indeed saw him, thinking that they were seeing themselves, but when he appeared to his disciples in glory on the mount, he was not small. He became great, but he made the disciples great, that they might be able to see him in his greatness. " - Gospel of Philip

" “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn

“‘a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law—
a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’"
Matthew 10: 34-36

" The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. " - John 1:9-13

I colored his skin purplish to give a royal and ethereal appearance. He's carrying a sword to "cut" away at the things that keeps those he's seeking to rescue trapped. He carrying a light to help those seeking to see through the darkness. The sword has a fish at the end since this sword has wisdom guiding it. A fish is a classic symbol of Gnosis within the Gnostic symbolism. His lack of a face shows how Christ doesn't have a "fixed" appearance, Truth will always be truth, no matter what form it takes. The masks he's walking by symbolizes the various false faces that exists in the world. They are the images that are projected and can be assumed. Finally his nakedness expresses how he is revealed when he finally recognized.
