He came to life within the two hours of daylight and so his parents feared that he would become sick. He didn't though and lived a quite normal life until he reached his puberty. The problems started when he didn't want to go to bed. He wanted to live his life and not sleep all the time, which caused uproar in the small society of Nausica.
Awook often tried to wake his friends and just ended up as being the stupid. It seemed that he felt drawn to the life and wasn't able to sleep properly any longer.
Caused by this his behaviour became quite hectic and nervous. He always wanted attention and feared to be alone. Sometimes he started to giggle out of nothing and tried to do lots of sports. Awook simply isn't able to rest in all aspects of life and always fears that he may be missing something. He isn't able to show emotions, because they change as quickly as his mood.

The otter is a child from the Fourth Wall universum and the first child of Andraste. Although he's an otter, he's acting like a human. He's an optimist and happy almost everytime. Nila
Nila is Andraste's and Ranjit's only natural child. She is half Nokke, half human and combines her mother's and father's traits. She's very quiet, but also seems to be kind of intelligent.
