Star sat separated away from the pack deep in thought, she was in deeper, a more isolated spot. She was thinking really hard on something. Something was bugging her, she felt very alone and wondered if it would ever happen?

Icy woke up and realized Star wasn't around. He quietly stood up, he could smell her close, he fallowed her scent. When he found her, he was surprised she had tears in her eyes. "Star?"

Star was surprised she didn't realize Icy was near her. She hoped he didn't see her being weak and crying, she rubbed her face. "um, Hi, I hate when dust gets in your eyes, its really annoying, right?"

Icy knew she was crying, but why? He couldn't just go and ask, she was obviously embarrassed about crying. "Whats on your mind Star?"

Star's face turned angry. "I will not show weakness to my pack!" She whispered, but said it as if she were yelling, she had to be careful not to wake anyone.

"I don't thionk you are weak, feeling emotions isn't weak, just tell me, maybe I can help. You might as well get it off your chest, you will feel better." He spoke quietly in a calming voice. He sat infront of her. "just tell me."

She figured that she might as well get it over with, he obviously wouldn't drop it. She layed down, head on her paws. "I...I want to be a mother."

He felt a rush of emotions he wasn't aware of from before, did he love her? "What are your reasons?" He laid down next to her, putting his paw on her shoulder.

Tears appeared in her eyes yet again. "Ever since my mom died, I wanted to be a great mother like she was, I want to make her proud, show her I can be as good of a mother as she was."

"That's nothing to be embarrassed of Star" His heart beat inside his chest, he had no clue that he felt this way about Star, but he was glad he did.
