There are countless of user on Gaiaonline with different avatars to show off to others. Many avatars can be creative, original, beautiful, plain, ugly, funny or simple. Whatever the style and theme is, each shows a piece of us for others to see, though they may not know it yet.
What does your avatar say about you? Does it show your personality, interest or history? Why did you choose to dress your avatar the way it is now?
As for me, I dressed my avatar like a princess since I was fond to acting like one when I was a child. It shows a piece of my childness that I've always had, though I have no purpose of being a princess now. XD

I live in Texas so every time I tell someone online that I live there, their question is "Are you a cowgirl?" I'm like no! XD... lol. So Texan girls have this stereotype of being cowgirls so therefore my avi came to be in a form of a cowgirl ^_^. In fact I'm starting to like dressing up as a cowgirl... even in real life lol heart

Yellow daffodils support cancer awareness and my fiance has leukemia. My avi says that I will support him, even in the smallest ways.

Previously I had a boy avi not too long ago, and my avi is kinda a fragment of that. I love sea stuff, like captains clothes and fishes, it's mainly the coat and hat that represent that side. And the goggles are the first item I wanted on Gaia, so I use it with almost all my outfits, so I wear it for nostalgic purposes. The brief case is something I want to be. I want to be a Gaia Director, and look the part professionally, however it's boring dressing all business-y So that's the meaning of those items if you see me dressing in them. 8D The other stuff is just for valentines day.

Well, I don't really have much to say about my avatar, actually. The two hair clips represent the song my account was named after, and the pink one represents Breast cancer awareness, because that's what my mom had (she's alive.). The boots represent my sister, who loves owls.

emotion_bigheart My avatar is a display of spooky kawaiiness. It's funny, because when I go into Towns, most people don't want to talk to me, because they're creeped out by my avatar, because it's not the run-of-the-mill hot mess of an avatar that's so common around here. XD
I love being creepy. ;D emotion_bigheart

Originally, the pink and white theme, as well as the heart of candy, was for Valentines day. Kinda just showing a shy, school girl, neko type thing, I guess, with the idea that she is blushing because the person that she cares about gave her gifts for valentines day. The collar is an ongoing thing between a friend and I (used as a headband here), as are the cat features (ears and tail). The rose has sentimental value to me because some one gave it to me not long after we met last year so, even if it doesn't match the rest, it stays.. and yeah, I have more roses that match better, I'm just keeping the blue one instead. I suppose the hair color/style, gloves, and shoes kinda represent my irl self a little as well. I guess it's mainly that I think it's cute and it makes me think of the person that I want to be spending the day with on valentines day, even if I can't physically be there.
Wow... that's a long description.. sweatdrop

Hm... Avatars to tell quite a bit about the person that made them, even without being made with certain intentions...
If I were to analyze my own... I would say that different items and looks represent different things. The long and somewhat extravagant hair and elven ears represent my desire to find inner and outer beauty in myself, since I have had progress over the past few years with doing so, and before then not much luck in that field at all. The heterochromic eyes might represent the sudden transition in my personal life and in my own character thanks to things I can't quite change myself, and a desire to seem interesting. The clothing is pretty, yet somewhat scraggled and adventurous, like someone who is weathered from travels but strives to continue along her road, but the legs/shoes represent the somewhat subtle desire to still remain womanly and alluring. The dragon being a faithful companion and friend she can always rely on regardless of others around her.
Namely, I've been going through a lot of crap recently regarding my now ended relationship and with classes, but have picked myself up and am carrying on, trying to preserve the positive feelings and thoughts I've developed of myself through better times, finding comfort in my closest friends.
Reading through this... It kinda sounds like I'm spouting nonsense. o.o

Ramiele Yellow daffodils support cancer awareness and my fiance has leukemia. My avi says that I will support him, even in the smallest ways. That made me "aww!" My avatar displays my determination to be myself and this is the real me that I cannot show in real life.
