i'm bored. my exams are over @ end of this week. i have nothing to do during my break, and i want to play an mmo.
what I'm looking for:
must be free, and i have to be able to play from Australia.
gotta have an explorable world and a decently large community.
i need to be able to exploit the market for gold.
i don't really care about anything else except computer specs. but I can figure that out.
any suggestions? ^__^

Like MMO does it has to be from gaia or can it be from other places
cause i got some like 1 that i hate SO MUCH THAT I QUITED it is

and another that i like cause u get to kill zombies and all that is

Those are all the ones i got srry that i can't put them in URL it's cause my computer can't put them
For both u can buy the creds like tribal wars u give money if u wana grow faster and to get more soldiers but if u don't wanna pay just play regular like just grow slowly regular and reqruit soldiers too
BUT some NOOBS DO THIS the get soldier and the don't lvl up thier farms so first do that and u'll be okay and the DEADFRONTIER u can pay some money to get GOLDMEMBERSHIP but i u like being relgular u can just kill and kill more zombies each time and heres a tip to grow fast here
EVERY AFTERNOON BY 4:00 to 7:00 YOU CAN GO TO OUTPOST IN CLASSIC MODE AND THEIR IS GONNA BE AN OUTPOST ATTACK AND GO TO MAIN GATE AND DEFFEND FROM THEIR THEY CAN'T HIT U IF THEIRS A WALL IN FROM AND WHEN IT SAYS THE WALL GONNA FALL ANY MOMENT JUST RUN LIKE H3LL AND DON'T GET HIT AT ALL IF UR IN THE CITY AND THEIRS A ZOMBIE JUST HIT AND GO BACK A LITTLE AND HIT AND REPEAT TO NOT GET HIT AT ALL.
Well that is all i got for MMOP the are not about here and one is about MMOP

Not sure if it can be played from Australia but Mabinogi is a pretty good game. Nexon is a very greedy company but the game itself is fun.

Yeah Vindictus was just released... I think it also goes by Maginobi.
Its free to download and play but there are features you can pay for.
I tried it out for a bit, and it would be fun if I wasn't already dedicated to another game.
Vindictus is supposedly the best completely free game out at the moment.

There is this site called onrpg.com and they have a whole section dedicated to listing free to play mmos/mmorpgs ninja
Personally, I play FlyFF. The reviews on it really depend on who you talk to and what you like, but I enjoy it and so does my bf XD!

@Frantic: i know a lot of sites that list MMOs but the thing is i don't really trust that they're awesome unless I hear it first-hand. there are SOO MANY to go through as well, it's overwhelming.
i never really liked FlyFF though.
@Glider: i checked out Tribal Wars (or at least the website) and I' not totally interested. feels like it's more RTS than exploring. Dead Frontier looks kinda fun though, at least enough for a week or so. I'll probably try it out and see what it's like.

Wasn't sure if you had browsed a list for new ones befor or not xP
There is this one called Fantasy Earth Zero. It's okay, the navigation tends to be a little difficult but you can hook a wireless usb controller up to you computer or use a ps3 controller to play it once you configure the settings. They have an area where you go into all out was against other villages (forgot what the actually call them, I haven't played in a while), but they also have an area where you just go and fight monsters.
You may be able to find gameplay videos for it somewhere if you don't know what it is. They were advertising it on DeviantArt for a while.

Flyff had a fairly exploitable market once you got the hang of it, but the game itself bored me fairly quickly. If you're only looking for something to tide you over temporarily, however, it could totally work.

if you like games still in open beta, something that resembles hack-and-slash, and have a thing for three kingdoms, my friends told me Dynasty Warriors Online is a good game. Also, the amount / kind of people you meet depends on what faction you join.
If I can remember, members from the Shu faction tend to be arrogant, and members from Wei are extremely friendly. That, and Wei's the largest group out there at the moment.
I was supposed to play the open beta
Then....then I realized how shitty it is that my Mac does not have a 3d accelerator. which I found out the hard way orz.
But I know how to play the game eitherway, the basic gameplay mechanics are just the same as DW's main line.
