 The sunlight was dwindling on the edge of darkness and Lamashtu was in her prime for hunting this evening. A brown hare was soaking wet with sweat after being chased from the watering hole almost back to it's den. She had seen it drinking and was well, thirsting. There hadn't been many brothers or sisters around lately to dine with, so this was the perfect chance for her to snack alone. Glowing orange eyes peered through the bushes as the hare moved nervously and then tensed up, it wasn't stupid...it knew that she had it in her sights. Curling her lips Lamashtu's front body sunk to the ground and her back legs bent giving her ample torque in her hind muscles to thrust her weight at the hare and send it flying.
The black lioness' tail twitched ever so slightly as the hare again shifted itself, black eyes darting back and forth as it tried to pinpoint her position. 'Doubtful this damn thing will even notice my scent fully before it's done...,' She thought to herself as she planned her final assault. Time critical, precision, and height. Her plan was flawless, the hare would certainly be thrown upwards if she hit it at the right angle, giving her just the right amount of time to swoop in and snatch it in her fangs. Another curl creased her lips as Lamashtu sat in wait for the perfect moment.

Adaeze wasn't aware of one of her half siblings not that far off, or for that matter going after the exact same thing that she was going after. She just stumbled across it, perfect timing too, she was pretty hungry, and she was enjoying the fact that it was so easy to come across it. She normally didn't like hunting for her own meals. She really thought it was annoying. However her siblings and her mother and father were all busy or starting to wake up so she knew she had to go off and do this by herself for a little while.
She dug her claws into the ground under her also waiting for the perfect moment. She was still disgrunted that she had to do this but she wasn't about to just give up. She thought she spotted the perfect moment as she sprung forward running quickly toward it trying to tackle it and get it however she seemed to have failed, missing by a good foot staring the hare in the face before watching it spring off. "Damn." She murmured to herself, she sat back on her haunches and pouted for the moment. She wasn't exactly the best hunter.

Growling the black colored lioness eased her way out from where she'd be in wait and stared down the younger female.
'Damn these youngsters, so quick to let loose,' She gave the female another look around and sniffed, then moaned and leaned back. The scent was somewhat familiar. With a slight eyebrow twitch Lamashtu looked hard at the girl, she was certain they had never met and yet...something was alike. Never the less the darn cub had lost her a meal, and for that there was a reason to scold. Her child or not, this one had cost her hours of hunting.
"Who are you? And why are you hunting here without your parents, they really ought to teach you better before you start hunting alone."
The anger moment had passed at least for the time being and the thought about this girl's parents had crossed her mind. Why would any knowing and skillful lioness allow her daughter to hunt in such a irresponsible manner in lands that lay in the dead center of her pride's lands. This all spelled danger and reckless in Lamashtu's eyes, but then again she also had no children. Rolling her eyes the lioness sighed, this would mean another hour or two more of hunting, providing anything was left in the open to hunt.

Adaeze looked at the lioness and blinked a few times. Confused at what she was talking about. She had no clue what to think about this, she was surprised at the fact that the lioness was there. She looked at the lioness and arched a brow. Confused at the fact another lioness was here. She really didn't know what to do, for a moment she was feeling really bad that was until the other lioness spoke. she didn't like the way the lioness sounded not at all. Ada was allowed to go out and wander around with out some one else. watching her. She didn't need the supervision the lioness was talking about. She pouted for a moment before pausing, The lioness looked and smelt familiar something just seemed confusing and familar to her. Who was this lioness?
"I'm Adaeze." She huffed shaking her head before speaking up again. "I can go wherever I want!" She huffed at the idea shaking her head. "I've been out here many times, she explained to the lioness. She sat back on her haunches really dainty like she was careful with all of her movements, she was very much slow with her movements and so much very careful and slowly moved her body with purpose. "I can easily hunt, I'm not the best but mom told me I need to go out my own and learn myself and figure out things myself. I'd really rather learn then have some one do things for me."
She grumbled quietly shaking her head at the idea. She really wans't sure who this lioness was though, or for that matter where she came from. She was conufsed and unsure but didn't want to chase the lioness away because of her curiosity..
