The seasons had changed once again winter was creeping up and the weather was getting colder. Her winter coat had started to even grow in thick and warm. Still there were patches of grass to be found that she could nibble on. The frost was on the ground making it hard under hoof. She passed a few wild vines of gourds who's frost covered vines glistened in the light of the full moon. Her ears swiveled as she sought the tree line. open grass lands were just cold this evening and the leave less trees offered some form of shelter.

The seasons in this land had begun their change into the winter months it seemed, though to Silvra, it was still very pleasant. Winter here was not anything like the winter back home, one didn't have to watch for blizzards and feet of snow to hamper movement. There were still many things to eat here, though scarce, it was STILL better than the fare in her far homeland.
Silvra picked through some choice apples she had gathered, she was rarely ever awake during the day but her stomach had sternly reminded her who was boss and she had sought her stores of food she had gathered from around the land to nibble upon. She had been munching the remainder of a lush autumn apple when she heard the snap of a twig. Her silver eyes narrowed and her ears were perked forward. It was not CLOSE, but it was close enough...
While she was still eager to meet others of this land, she also knew there were predators as well. And, though she was a good head and shoulders larger than everything she had met thus far, she was still cautious, as any one should be. She peeked out of the cave she had been using for shelter and peered down the long slope along the way. " Who ees down there...i vonder..."

Sure she had wisely stored aside food for herself for the colder winter months, but seeing as how the thick of winter hadn't approached and sent all plants into it's dormant state, she stopped to nibble on a few leaves that still clung to their green color and lush flavor. After finishing her snack, she pressed further into the tree line. She's wandered around exploring things and seeing how things had changed else were before making her way back to her secluded safe haven she'd found. She kept a watchful eye about knowing that there were those that would think her to be a food source even among the soquili.

Silvra soon spotted who she had heard, a strange looking mare, but nothing dangerous. She was adorned with roses and had a long flowing tail with roses entwined in it. She inhaled, finding the scent easily, it was nice and the mare looked sweet enough. She did not have that many acquaintances in this land so she found it a good idea to engage in conversation with this one. She picked her way through the area to make her presence known.
" Hallo...stranger, iee be a frieeennd" she wrinkled her nose, trying to pronounce everything properly.

She had been just about to head back to her hiding place before she heard the voice that caused her to stop dead in her tracks and look for the cause. She saw a black and sliver mare picking her way slowly towards her. "Hello." She gave a sweet smile and started towards the figure. "Lovely night, isn't it?" her breath came in a puff of steam with her words. She didn't much venture out at night so often anymore after her run in with a friendly kalona who'd escorted her back to her 'den' once.

The closer the mare got the more nervous she was that she would frighten the gentle looking mare with her size alone. She was very LARGE for a kirin and most things on their first encounters with her froze like deer in headlights. She peered past her silvery curtain of a mane and dipped her horn in greetings. " Hallo, and...yes, it ees a very lovely nieeght eeindeed..." she blinked at the smaller mare and pulled a gentle smile " vhat ees your name stranger? Iee am known as Forsilvra...Silvra eef you vish.

She nodded her head in return not even giving a move to bolt. The other mare seemed nice enough so she was following her gut with this. "Pleasure meeting you, Silvra. I'm Shoshana, though you can call me Sho for short if you like." Her smile was warm, gentle, and lit her eyes with the warmth of it. "What brings you out and about in the chilled air?"
