It was a cool morning out in the fields. The soft grass parting slightly at the footsteps as he made his way around the fields, humming to himself as the sun slowly showed itself. A brown fox with distinctively green markings made his way down the road.

Fnarg's tail flicked back and forth in a calm manner. The bitter coolness nipped at her nose, sending a chill down her whole body. Cold. It wasn't something she didn't like much, but she knew she had to deal with it. As she continued to walk, her paws got colder. Fnarg frowned and looked down at her paws as she still walked. 'I can't even feel these things, their so cold...' She thought to herself. Just then, she felt her body come intact with another. THUD. Right into Pepper. Fnarg stumbled and fell.

"Oops! I-'m sorry!" he exclaimed as he fell back hard on his bum. His head shook, his bum landing on the cold plains, the grass still there, though slightly stunted. The ground cool to the touch.

Fnarg got up as quick as she could. Unfortunately, her paws were still numb from being cold so she just fell right back down. "Oh, it's okay... It's my fault, really. Wasn't watching where i was going."

"No...No its mine. I should be really paying attention." he replied to her, "Are you alright?" he asked, wanting to make sure she was ok.

She nodded. "I'm totally fine aside from my numb paws... I'm not to used to the cold, you see." Fnarg gave a small giggle, offering one of her paws for a paw-shake despite how numb they were.

"Pepper." he replied with a smile, gently giving her a paw shake as well and a smile. "So what brings you around these parts?" he asked.

Fnarg shrugged and glanced around. "Curiosity, i guess~ I've never been around these parts all that much... I usually never wonder too far from the shop." She wagged her green white-striped tail gently.
"So far, it's been pretty nice. Though it is cold. I don't really favor the cold but... Eh." She gave another shrug. "And what might you be doing around here, if i may ask?" The female gave a slight tilt of her head to show her curiousness.

"I got hungry and well...Looking for something to eat." the young male chuckled with a soft smile, his belly grumbling. "Oops. Excuse me.. he replied with a shy blush."

Fnarg giggled at his stomach rumbling. She then reached for a granola bar she had grabbed before embarking on her adventure and held it out to Pepper.
"Here, sounds like you need this more than me." Fnarg smiled kindly at the male as she held out her favorite snack of all times to him.

"Oh, thank you." he replied with a big smile. Gently taking it and openning it, offering her one end of the bar so they could share.

"No problem~ I always have one of those handy. Their one of my favorite pass time snacks plus... their healthy!" Fnarg smiled and nodded. She blinked as he offered her one end and smiled, taking the offer. "Why thank you, Pepper!" The green female happily exclaimed with a smile, plopping the granola bar in her mouth to chew it. Her paws were getting colder and number by the minuet. Once she was done chewing, she swallowed her snack and looked up to Pepper.
"Say... Do you know which way the shop is i... I'm kind of lost and my paws are getting really cold and numb..." she felt a tad bit embarrassed about being lost but oh well. she didn't let it show nor did she really care.

The zune smiled slightly with a soft nod. "Yup Yup. They're pretty tasty." he cooed with a satisfied nod. "I can help ya back...though this place is kinda far." he replied to her. "You can hop on my back." he replied with a soft smile.

Fnarg blinked and tilted her head to one side. "A... Are you sure i won't be too heavy for you to carry?" She asked with a concerned tone in her voice. True, she was a healthy zune, but that didn't mean she wasn't heavy. She didn't want to be any type of burden on the poor guy. After all, they had just met.
