The story:
There are two types of special types of people. Meisters and weapons. Weapons are souls who have the ability to shift into the form of near any weapon at all or partially so. It's the meisters duty to work with the weapons as their weilder to help them capture 99 corrupted souls and one witch soul to become a death scythe. The weapon of the grim reaper himself. Mesiters result to using their souls to defend themselves when alone, and to save their weapons in times of dire. Currently the grim reaper founded an institute to train weapons and help prevent kishins from being born, a ultimate demon. Kishins are souls who grew corrupt and consumed human souls to gain power, and only one has existed in history. Witches are a group of mostly females who are the only magic users Are you ready to help save the world?

Rules:
-No becoming a death scythe without my direct permission, and no gaining more then one soul at a time. In short, almost no one will become a death scythe, myself included.
-Follows gaia's and the guilds rules.
-No mixtures of weapons and meisters, you need a pair to fight efficently.
-Keep everything PG-13 please, romance is allowed but not exactly the focus of this rp.
-My and luna's word is law.
-PM me with any questions
-I reserve the right to add rules at anytime

Meisters:
Goal in life is to train weapons to achieve the status of death scythe, though few ever reach that rank. It is forbidden for you to consume souls, or kill a human being. Most have the ability to use their souls to either attack or defend in one ability.((Your in control of the fights most of the time, you use yoru weapon only when they shift for you, don't eff up.))
Weapons:
Your goal is to become a death scythe, unlocking your true power. Your are loyal to your meister and will often die for him/her. While you can fight on your own, your true strentgh lies in a team. ((Fair warning, during fights you will not have as much say as what your character does in weapon form due to the nature of the person weilding you. You can communicate and such but be warned you may sit out on actual actions unless you shift back to human.. which isn't wise..))
Witches:
You hate the academy and the order they install. You all belive that your organization of witches can rule much better with fear and power. You work together with your arts for that one goal. Over throw the reaper and his institute.
Setting: Mostly the academy.
Soul resonance:
When the weapon and meister connect souls and grow more powerful together for a breif time. Usually only one attack and leaves you exaughsted afterwards. Put this in your other if you are a weapon to prove you read this, meister and witches put a ninja.

Cut me, shoot me, knock me down...Leon leaned against the cold hard stone wall. His breath was visable as he shivered slightly. He yawned loudly, looking around, then at his partner, sita. Why are we here again? I didn't pay attention to the mission explanation, I fell asleep. He yawned again, letting his eyes drift close. He was always tired no matter how much sleep he got, and rather lazy when he was awake.
...but touch my partner and I'll kill you.

Sita smirked and rolled her own eyes. "I should've guessed..." Her eyes turned to the rusted gates in front of them. "Our mission was to check out this village..The townspeople have been dissappearing. The others evacuated. We need to find out what's been doing this." She explained, and gently pushed the gate open, hearing it creak.

That sounds like too much work in my opinion. Why can they have someone else do it. He spoke with his eyes closed. He didn't move from the wall, too lazy to get up. He shifted his hands behind his head as he yawned again. Can't we just leave and say we fixed it?...but touch my partner and I'll kill you.

Cut me, shoot me, knock me down...Leon sighed as he saw her glare, shivering slightly at her threat. He reluctantly pushed off the wall, beggining to follow her. Yea yea I'm following you... He yawned, wishing he was at home asleep. Who are we supposed to kill again? He asked half asleep....but touch my partner and I'll kill you.

Canaan was wandering the halls of the academy with a single red thread intertwined between her fingers, playing cat's cradle. Her expression beheld a quaint smile and a soft gaze as she made her way down the hall at her own pace.

His attitude made her laugh. "I don't know...That's what we need to find out. You weren't paying attention, were you?" Sita asked, scanning the area with her eyes. The place was gray and misted, made of a few unhealthy buildings and crumbled foundations.

Leon yawned. I wasn't awake during it...So if everyone's gone can't we just leave and let someone else deal with it. I wanna just crash at home. He yawned again, his hands in his pockets as he walked, his eyes half closed.
