Thanks to Sam_O_Cleere for the following notes from WWE's live event in London, England:
Was at WWE RAW house show at the 02 tonight and William Regal announced his retirement! Great show however! Good crowd!
Poppaparker also passed along the following:
Triple threat US title match, truth, Bryan and regal, basic setup, one guy falls out, the other two go at it. Bryan is the heel. regal and truth are over, even though truth is so sloppy in the ring. Great exchange by regal and Bryan, Bryan makes him tap! after regal says thanks and goodbye on the mic as this will probably be his last tour, he says the new crop of stars are ready.

i hate to hear that. i have been a big fan of his since his WCW days. i would love to see him get a title run before he goes for good.

i was about to report this.... but he said that it was his last overseas tour he will probably retire at the king of the ring raw comming up.. sad to see him go i remember when he was in WCW.

William Regal posted the following on his Twitter account:
"I'm having a great tour and wrestling Daniel Bryan has made me realize that unless I can keep up to that standard it's possibly time for me to start winding down," Regal wrote.
"I said it might be my last tour the other day not that it was. I would like to continue with quality and not quantity."

Huh... The only wrestler I actually have an autograph from might be retiring. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
