 "So much for a good night out...." The soft grumblings of the mare emanated from the dark forested path. "Of all places to have a detour." she muttered softly. the dark night lit only by the moon above. The soft rustling of the wind, bringing down the autumn leaves that danced and whispered in the wind. The dark oranges and reds obscured by the lack of light, turning a haunting grey color as the lone soq wandered the forest.

Arya was deep in thought as she gracefully flew over the dark forest. She loved the feeling she got when she beat her wings; it gave her a rush unparalleled to anything she'd felt before. However, she'd been up in the air since taking off at the mountains, and her muscles were beginning to feel sore. Quietly, she descended into the forest and landed in a small clearing.
As her hooves touched the ground, the leaves rustled and stirred at the commotion. She gently folded her wings into her body and flipped her long dark mane. She scanned her white, glowy eyes along the forest floor. Time for dinner... she thought as she elegantly walked through the forest searching for some fresh rabbit or fox. The silvery fabric of her sleeves swept the forest floor, shimmering in the moonlight.

She heard some rustling in the forest. Her ears perked up slightly. Her eyes emanating a soft gold glow as she looked around in the dark night of the forest. "Hm?" she squeaked slightly, she wasn't easily spooked, no, not unless it was really that scary or she really did have that feeling in her gut that said "Something is going to eat her."

Arya could smell fear nearby. She enjoyed the emotional rays that frightened soquili gave off. Their inner screams fueled her desire to manipulate people's emotions and feelings. She imitated an expression somewhere in between a grin and a snarl, and within an instant, she took off into the air, flapping her strong wings, and landed right behind the feathery red mare that was a newcomer to her forest.
"Well hello." she said, glaring threateningly at the stranger. She wasn't really going to eat her, as she didn't have an appetite for horse, but she wouldn't mind a quick hunt for fun. She wondered how the mare would react. Normally, lesser soquili like this one wouldn't even catch her interest, but tonight, she was in for some fun.

"EEK!" she was surprised, hard. Jumping and turning around to the ghostly white soq. the color seemed to have left her skin. she thought this place was just some bad joke or some crazy superstitious nonsense. A haunted forest? That was for laughs.... not anymore by the way it looks.

Arya snarled at her reaction. "No need to be frightened dear." she eloquently whispered. Her voice was soothing, but her face spoke differently. She looked at the mare in hunger, hoping to freak her out a little more. She then proceeded to tilt back her head and neigh to the sky, kicking the air in front of her with her front legs. She landed back down with a thud, fixating her eyes onto the feathery mare, baring her teeth. She sure enjoyed pretending she was going to eat her. She loved seeing other's reactions, and this one was feeding her the fuel she needed to continue. This was funny!

She could almost feel her bladder weakening and about to pee herself. Thankfully, she kept herself. She gulped.... hard. "Your voice doesn't exactly sound like it." she retorted with a straight face. Whether it was the dark voice, the mare above, the forest, or a combination of all of them, it was creepy nonetheless. She was scared out of her wits, but she willed herself to stay.

Arya snickered at the mare's fear. She couldn't sense another presence in the forest, but she was alert at all times anyway. Despite the fun she was having, this mare wasn't posing much of a challenge for her, and he was actually beginning to feel pretty hungry. "Consider yourself lucky." she snorted, neighing once again. With a flick of her long, black mane she fixed her empty eyes on the mare. Breaking the eye-contact, she turned around gracefully and started walking away. She'd had her fun, and now it was time to go eat.
She heard the cracking of a twig behind her. She spun almost instantly and stared back at the terrified mare. "Was that you?"

"Erm...no...besides...ghosts...don't make footsteps do they?" she asked, raising an eyebrow at her. her heart still racing. Approaching her, her footsteps weren't as lout and there weren't a lot of branches about in this area. "Who are you?" she replied, her voice trembled a bit, still shook up by this....thing.

Arya was unamused with this mare's ignorance. "No, you silly. Ghosts can make any kind of noises they want to scare you." she sighed heavily, rolling her eyes. Nothing could scare her. "Don't worry, I'll scare it off." She stalked back to the mare and into the forest behind them fearlessly, head held high.
"You! Yes, you! Get out of here or I'll eat you!" she accompanied her threat with a loud neigh as the brisk wind ruffled the leaves on the trees. It was silent. Almost too silent. The wind had stopped, and not a thing was moving. Then came a noise... it was something in between a whisper and a growl. Arya stayed silent.

Raven growled as she kicked up some snow at her direction. Her eyebrow raised. Shouldn't dirt pass through a ghost? She muttered to herself, watching the dirt cake up on her back slightly. Her head shook, somewhat skeptical now at her ghostness.

Arya noticed the dirt being kicked at her, and really disliked it. She would've given the mare a good kick with her hind legs, but she was unsure whether they were alone in the forest. Instead, she whipped her head back and snarled;
"You idiot! I'm not a ghost. But if you keep making so much darn noise maybe a real ghost will show up!" She growled afterwards. What a stupid mare! She had absolutely no tolerance for stupids. She turned back to where she had been staring a moment ago, and noticed a cloud-like mist.
Paralyzed, she stared at it. The whisper-y noise returned, this time louder, and chilled the area around them. Arya was stunned.
"Run you fool!" she shouted quickly at the mare as she turned and kicked off the ground, flapping her powerful wings to gain height.

Her eyes went wide and her instincts kicked in. Running for her life, the outline of what was a black horse in the oddly shaped fog burned in her retinas Following the other mare. They'll be on their throats after this one though. Her eyes then fixed back to the edge of the forest, heading towards it as an unearthly neigh resounded in the back. mumbling gently, painting out of her breath as she stopped in clearing. Looking back up, at the sky, wondering if the other mare was there.
