People were people everywhere. It was a cliche to be sure, but it deserved to be one. More importantly, people loved a good show. They demanded entertainment that didn't upset them too much, liked to walk away thinking that the world was exactly what they thought it was before hand. To Alistair, that meant one thing: they loved watching a show screw up.

"Come on, Patches," he wheedled the rather patchy-looking eevee. The dark coated pokemon had several bald patches in his coat and did not look pleased at all. He even wore a little hat, although not very happily. In fact, the little pokemon looked about one step away from simply chewing the hat up. His tail lashed angrily behind him and he put his nose up in the air.

"Veee!" he declared defiantly.

Alistair sighed dramatically and started to sweat. "So... uhh... you see, we're having a few technical difficulties, but I assure you, he can count. Watch, someone call out some numbers and he'll add them up! Not too high, now. He's just a little eevee, you know..."

It was a Clever Hans trick. Alistair knew it well. Hell, so did Scraps, for that matter; all Scraps had to do was watch Alistair's expression and he would know when to stop tapping his paw. People loved seeing a clever pokemon.

They loved seeing screw-ups even more, though.

"Come on, just two little numbers," the trainer said with a grin that oozed charm and sweated smarm. A small pile of money glittered on the little box in front of the eevee. Alistair kept his eyes on it, but kept even closer eyes on where people pulled their money out of. Oh, he was pretending to be a rubbish trainer...

But he was a very good pick-pocket.

User ImageThis was why Rosie loved the park so much; there were always so many people and Pokemon around, interesting personalities to meet, and so many beautiful trees and plants that the Pokemon always enjoyed playing in.
It was fall, all the leaves were turning vibrant colors of yellow, orange and red, everything seem to be glowing, the beauty always attracted more people who took joy in the colors, even if it was starting to get a little chilly from the season change.

Another big reason she loved the park so much, this one in particular, was from all the performers that would set up, putting on some really nifty shows for the people who chose to stop and watch.
Rosie liked to someone walk from group to group as she enjoyed a stroll, Letting her Pikachu play in the trees and bush, while her Vaporeon walked calmly, remaining at her trainer's side.

The Girl herself, a young trainer, dressed in a white body suit, with a pink skirt and pink bow on the back of her hip, had her hands cupping underneath her elbows, starting to regret not grabbing a jacket like her Uncle Bruce had suggested.
She was just having too much fun to turn around and go home now.
Shaking her blond hair out of her face, featured just constantly speaking joy and kindness, her Blue eyes located a group of people, cleaning watching another performance that was just outside the south exit of the park.
Tilting her head in curiosity, hearing the people laughing about something, she glanced down at the blue striped Vaporeon next to her.
“Let’s go see” she said, before heading over and taking a look.
Once she worked her way though some of the crowd to get a better look at what was going on, her face lit up when she saw the adorable and beautifully colored Eevee and its trainer.

Vahy’n sat down carefully, her fun tail curling around her legs when Rosie found a good place to stand. Large yellow eyes watching as the trainer seemed to be trying to get his pokemon to count… but things did not seem to go very well.

“Three” Rosie chimed in, when he asked them all for a number.

"Three! I heard a three, a most excellent number indeed!" Alistair could make damn near anything sound exciting. There was a feeling about the man that, if he didn't shout out something every few seconds, he might very well explode in a cloud of confetti. Or maybe it was just the man's frantic energy as he kept moving, almost prancing, in front of the crowd. (In truth, that was just because he was cold; it really was far too cold to be outside without a coat).

"Alright, Patches, come on," he wheedled or perhaps weedled. "Two and three, you can add those up, can't you?"

"Vee," 'Patches' answered immediately and appeared to think about the problem. In truth, the eevee was getting bored of this act anyway. His large golden eyes watched Alistair's every move carefully, looking for the little cues he knew and recognized. And there it was! A subtle movement of the hand.

Theatrically, the eevee stood up, shook himself off, and jumped off the little platform.

"Th... that's just his way of getting warmed up, ladies and gentlemen," Alistair said, putting a fake waver in his voice. "Just wait for it. He needs a little time to think."

'Patches' wandered around a bit before coming up to the Vaporeon. It wasn't often that he got to see another eeveelution, after all. But, some things were more important. "Vee!" he declared before curling up next to the starry Vaporeon and, apparently, going to sleep.

Rosie giggled, mostly at the cute Eevee that decided that he did not want to have anything to do with this act, and the embarrassed look on the man's dace as he tried to back up his Pokemon's actions as everyone watched the Eevee wanted over to sit next to her Vaporeon.

Rosie crouched down, placing her hands on her knees.
“I guess it’s been a long day for you, hasn’t it little guy?”
Vahy’n didn’t get up when the young Eevee moved over to lay next to her and cuddle in. she did lift a paw slightly off the ground however, large yellow eyes blinking in puzzlement.
He was a cute little Eevee, coloration was unusual, that wasn’t something that was at all common, Vahy’n could appreciate that.

Tilting her head to the side in a curious gesture, the feather and line of gold beads on her fin swayed gently, her tail fin slowly patting the ground by her feet in contentment.
the elegant Vaporeon spoke, her voice calm and gentle, her tone aged
