I don't remember who planted the seed for this idea in my head. Or maybe it was all the brightly colored bbies that came around the time DD`s Complimentary Colors fs, plus the fs itself. I loved Treads Softly and was sorta bummed I'd missed him (yeah my green + pink obsession). Then I won Shimmerbug and decided to ask Elvy if they could breed. After she'd agreed Fluo asked me if Fiend would like to meet Bug. Or maybe it was the other way around.. Anyway I told her sure, but Treads Softly had first dibs.

Then the idea hit to keep a girl from the Bug x Treads breeding and breed her to Fiend. Fluo liked the idea and after a few others (I can't remember who) asked to get in on the family I decided to start a family tree of eye killing proportions.

I have 2 goals here; 1) get this family tree as big as the other big ones (Mirebeat & Star Garden - I think it's his) while keeping as many of the bright colors as possible and 2) link this family to Mirebeat's and or other large families. Though the first goal is most important, it's based on my new fascination with eye killing colors. The second is simply because I have 4 of Mirebeat's descendants and wanna see that family reach much bigger proportions.

Feb. 19, 2012 update: Rejam did the Treads x Bug (aka squish!) breeding. Unfortunately I will be keeping the pink/purple buck. But this is okay, Elvy says we can try to breed them again. Or I can breed my buck and if I keep a girl she can breed with Fiend. Assuming Fluo still wants Fiend in this. *makes a mental note to ask*


The plan is this:
1. Breed Shimmerbug and Treads Softly.
2. Breed the daughter I keep from above to Fiend.
3. Cram both breedings with as many sacs as is possible (either with loads of RP or doing RL breedings)
4. Both parent owners will only keep 1 baby, all the rest will go to active newbies and oldbies. Participation is not a requirement for entering a contest or getting a gift sac, though it would be appreciated.
5. If you gain a Kimeti from this, or have one of the starting parents, I will not pester you about breeding. This project should be fun, so breedings and any RP that may go along with them will not be demanded or rushed. I figure it'll happen when it happens.

His momma, Flower-eater, is a little bright too... in a pastel sorta way.

I'll add these in the morning, but all are great ideas.

Elvy: Sure, I'm up for same pairings, multiple breedings. Though my 'base' bby would go to someone else. Spread that eyedeath around and infect as many herds as we can XD

Did I tell you that Way up High reminds me of a high school painting I did? I only used red, blue and yellow, though maybe there'd been black lining between the colors.

And now I want a doe that's complete the shade of green she's sporting.
