(( PRP for Cabaret, owned by Darkmoon Dancer, and Raven, owned by darknightcavalier )) If asked, Cabaret would say that this was the best feeling in the world. Wind under his wings, feathers being ruffled and smoothed back by the speed, and the lack of anything under his hooves.
What else was it like to be airborne?
He was weightless. There was a whole force guiding him on his way when he gave in to it, picking his wings up and pushing him onward. The wind was crisp and cool, making him feel refreshed and calm. And best of all, he didn't have to feel any pressure on his hooves. There was no weight pushing down on those tiny points at the end of his legs. Up here in the sky, the weight was evenly distributed, which made it easier to carry, and up here, he could feel that exciting rush of adrenaline for extended periods of time.
He could feel his heart beat faster and his perception of the world below became wider as he saw more and more unfold below him peacefully and easily. This is what he could do forever.

The sky's the limit. The sun in the the sky above. The clouds parting at every turn and whim. Wings spread and the scents of the cool crisp air encircled her nostrils as the winds and the air passed. Her wings stretched wide, taking a grin and a hard dive down before flying back up. Passing by another red blur to her, not really minding at all.

He was floating along minding his own business, enjoying the wind in his feathers when out of no where a sudden rush of wind blasts past his right side. The downward momentum disrupts the current he was riding and it pulls at his wing, and instead of fighting, he allows it to do so and folds his other wing in to fall into a roll.
Flipping his head upside down, he sees a blur, red and purple, rush on through, and without a second thought he sets his mind to pursuing. He ducks his head and turns upright once more. Pumping his wings a few times, he then folds in his wings and enters a dive that follows the blur's course, quickly gaining on it in speed.

The red and purple blur spotted the other blur. Her eyes moved slightly back, her head tilted a bit, wondering who or what it could be. Grinning, she let the blur pass by so she could get a slightly better look, though not very clear, she was sure it was another one like her. Wings, tucked back, head back forward, racing to meet him in flight.

All of a sudden he passed the blur by and immediately threw out his wings to slow down. He didn't want to win if the other wasn't trying! Pumping his wings to keep a good pace, but not pull ahead too far, Cabaret threw his head over his shoulder to also get a better look at the being he had passed. And what he saw made him tilt his head and grin. It was Soquili that looked very much like him: feathers, big wings, saddle, and best of all it was a she!
He beckoned her on with a nod and a quick yell, "Don't slow up now! No fun if I win without you trying!"

As he said that, she tucked her head forward and dived past him. Looking back as she smirked past him. Another one like her, a feathered one. A good looking lad too. Smirking she went off seek ground, a clearing under them.

Another boost of speed! Well, he could match that well enough, but he would give her a slight lead, for now, anyway. He had no path in mind, so why not let her choose?
She began to dive downwards and he cast his glance to find out why. A clearing, a perfect place to land and rest, if one needed to do such things. Though, now that he thought about it, a nice drink would be nice. Was that a glint of water he spied? He would have to get closer to be sure, and so he followed the mare down towards the clearing giving her enough space so she could land first.

The mare smiled at the young male. Grinning happily, at the male, hovering slightly before landing. "you were pretty good out there." she called to him, looking up to the young male with a grin and smile.

Keeping himself airborne, a comfortable distance from the mare, he retorted, "Pretty good, hmmm? Well..." He winked, "You ain't seen nothin' yet!" And to sum that very comment up he did a very simple, very neat backflip on the spot that lead into a graceful landing in the clearing.
Turning to look up at the mare, he smiled, almost a challenge, and yet still a playful little expression.

The lady gave him a soft and playful chuckle. Grinning at his little stunt, her heart leaping inside its cage with a chuckle. Someone quite fun to be with. She leaped up, doing a good double loop in the air before landing on her feet.

He watched her with a grin playing across his features. Would she take him up on his unspoken challenge, or not? Well he didn't have to wait very long to find out!
When she landed he chuckled warmly, "Very nicely done! Nothing I couldn't handle of course," another wink, "But such grace and detail is hard to master! I'm sure many a Wind have envied those aerials."

"You're not bad yourself big boy." she chuckled with a smile. "Name's Raven." she greeted him with a smile. A somewhat amused and cocky one at best, smiling at the male who she wanted to fly with.

With her compliment, he dipped his head just the slightest so he could look up at her from under his brow with a coy look on his face. He was really beginning to like this mare. She was ready for competition, and she knew all the right buttons to push to keep him interested.
"Cabaret," he said simply, pausing a moment before adding, "Nice to meet another talented flyer, Raven."

"You're not that shabby as well." she replied with a grin. "What brings you here to this parts?" she asked him. The mare looking intently, he eyes glowed with a strange, eerie and curious glow, her excitement hard to hide.

He shrugged and shook out his wings.
"I go where the winds guide me... and where I can find myself some good natured competition." He winked, a rather common occurrence that accompanied his playful demeanour.
He noticed her excitement, her brightly glowing eyes, and in return felt himself growing excited also, for no particular reason, other than perhaps her energy rubbing off on him. "Are you from around here?"
