Teleka was lazing around, he was bored and thinking of Kijinga, not that much else was ever on his mind now. He wanted to ask her so much, ask why she suddenly left him and all sorts of things. He licked at his paw before realising how much of a mistake it was. He thought he would have learnt not to licking his sandy paws by now but that was obviously wrong.
He stood up and stretched his body before falling back to the ground. He was under the small amount of shade close to the waterhole and how nice it was to be in the shade and the energy of moving, meant there was no point in doing so! He was content where he was for the time being.

((A picture of Kirjava: Kirjava ))Wandering away from the crater in which had occupied her time for a while, Kirjava was bored of the place. Sure, it had it's advantages of plenty of food and a few lions, it just didn't interest her. Flicking her tail, crimson eyes gazed forward as she realized just long she had been wandering around for.
With the sun beaming down on her and her tongue sticking slightly to the roof of her mouth, it was just then that the little female realized that she was hungry. Ears flicked in annoyance at a small grumble from her stomach, she tried to ignore it. Just as she was about to walk forward, she thought she spotted a figure in the distance. What was someone doing all the way out here?

He had got bored and thought that laying in the water wouldn't do him any harm so he had moved into the water. There was a carcass near him, meat still on it though he was now full. He was going to take the rest back to the pride see if that king wanted any. He had accepted him a little but he still wasn't keen on the adult lion king.
He was happy however now, laying in the water but when his eyes landed on a youngster a smile crawled across his face, how would it be to get on Kwana or Kimeti's good side? A slave maybe? He wasn't too happy about giving a youngster over but at least he would try and look after her as much as he could.

Unaware of any of the intentions on the other lion's mind and if she had, perhaps Kirjava would have thought twice about walking closer, but she did not. Crimson eyes landed on the dead animal before shifting to the larger, much larger male. Stopping a few feet away from the male, crimson eyes held some curiosity as this would be her first encounter with another in many, many weeks. The tip of her tail flicked as she greeted him, "Hello!"

Teleka turned to look at her as he had pretended not to notice the small shape heading towards him. "Hello there." He wouldn't say the lands that the youngster was on, after all these lands were not the greatest of lands to be on for most. He raised his body from the water and moved back to the shade to keep cool, he then turned his brown eyes on the youngster, "What may I ask are you doing out here, so alone..."

While she stood there and flicked her tail, Kirjava took in the response before giving back her own. "I have been wandering around for some time, I suppose. As for being alone, I have no family." It was true, she knew of no mother, no father, and no siblings and had grown up in this strange place. Crimson eyes were on the male as she took a step towards the water and lapped up a few sips to quench her thirst before glancing back towards the male with a slight flicker of curiosity. "Are there others around here? I haven't met many lions."

Teleka listened and while he felt sorry for the youngster he was rather happy that she had no family as it meant that she would not be missed. He looked around the lands, they did seem so empty he then turned back to the cub. "There eat something you must be hungry." He smiled as he looked around again, there was no harm in feeding her while no one was about. "Yes there is a small pride living here, it is growing, slowly but all the same. You could meet some of the members if you want? They would love to meet you, especially the king!" He was truthful though he missed out the reason to why he would be happy!

At the mention of food, Kirjava was cautious before stepping forward to take a little piece. Munching, she flicked her tail before finishing and giving the male a sign of gratitude, "Thank you!" Tilting her head slightly, crimson eyes widen, meet others? She didn't quite understand the concept that she was getting on to new territory. "There are others around! I'd like to meet others." Her head nodded in confirmation. It as always nice to meet others, she told herself.

He looked at the little one feeling ever more guilty but he let her eat. "You promise you will stay here? I will go and fetch someone else, dont go anywhere mind you there are some mean predators around that would eat you." He didn't want to scare her but what other choice did he have? He sighed and turned to leave, he was off to find Kimeti.

Nodding her head as Kirjava settled down. She'd listen to what the larger lion told her. Curling her tail around her, crimson eyes glanced at the landscape while she waited on the larger lion to return with that other "someone". It's a good thing, in a way, that she's a little naive and doesn't exactly know what she's getting into for that matter.

He turned his head to see her settle down before rushing off, oh he wasn't looking forward to this but then some things just have to be done.

Kimeti was lounging on a rock that jutted out over the oasis. The suns warmth trickled over his body and lulled him into a calm sleep. It was the perfect time of day to nap and the King was taking full advantage of it. The cool water under him made sure that hte temperature never got unbearably hot. Besides drinking, water could be useful for something else it seemed.

Crimson eyes shifted over the landscape as Kirjava wondered how a pride could live out here in such a place? Well, it was no matter to her. Getting up, she took a few steps to the water and took another sip. Her tail flicked as she stayed put like she was told to.

Teleka saw the king and sighed a little as he trotted over to him. "Kimeti. I guess I have found you a present, unless your not after slaves anymore." He didn't want to give her over but then what choice did he have, it was in his nature. "She is quite young, but she would probably be a hard worker, if you would care to follow me?" He did ask the question as he had no idea if Kimeti would be interested or not.

"Slaves?" Kimeti brightened up at that word. Lifting his head he gazed at the other male. "The pride could certainly use a slave to help with the menial things." He muttered to himself more than anything else before rising to his paws and hopping off the rock. "Alright then Teleka, take me to her. I hope you're right and that she'll turno ut to be useful. I'd really hate to house to worthless lioness whose unable to hold her own."
