Suggestions for Holiday Contests! ThanksgivingDraw your best / worst turkey! - This contest is for everyone! Young and Old! Talented and Not talented! Just draw your best turkey! Draw a detailed sketch or just trace your hand and add some details to it! Prizes go for the Best and the Worst turkey drawing and the runner ups! Gobble Gobble!Christmas All I want for Christmas is... - You are wandering the mall, and there...you see. Seated in a gilded throne of red velvet, a thick man in red. A crisp white beard upon his face. His cheeks rosy with blush. A red sleeping cap on top of his head. Santa Clause! You stare at him and then, he calls out to you with his deep, jolly voice, "Hey there! Come and sit on Santa's Lap!" Here, you just post your character's reaction. Will your character run to Chris Kringle and hop onto his lap and list your Christmas wish list? Or would you flee from the phony Clause? Prize goes to the best entry and the runner ups.

It flippin snowed here today! I was at work when it started and I was like WTF. Got me in the christmas spirit though.
I think for a roleplay we should have a christmas dinner for all the gijinka. c: And maybe do a secret santa rp too!

How about for Thanksgiving everyone should draw their gijinka in those classic elementary school Thanksgiving play costumes? That'd be hilarious with some of the stuff people come up with.
Like someone in Pilgrim costume, someone dressed as the turkey and other food items, some people as the Indians. And when everyone has their character we can cluster them on one big image.
Wouldn't matter how good anyone's picture is xD it'd just be fun and funny. We wouldn't even have to put them on a big image, just put them all on one thread so everyone can look at them.
Harriet the Spy anyone?
Or have our characters do their own version of a hand turkey drawing. We could post them all in the same thread as the costume ones?
As for Christmas I like those ideas~the cookie grams sound awsome. I think the Secret Santa should be amongst the gijinka? (>>; or was that the plan?).

I'm glad to see so many ideas coming out. I would just like to mention one thing, I have people that I'm going to be buying gifts for on gaia and so my wallet is off-limits for this event so none of the prizes will be gold based unless someone else wishes to offer some.
So hopefully some artists will offer some prizes and of course there will be the pokemon claiming as prizes.
So for this reason the event should be more activity based than contest based.
I am also thinking that we should have our own secret Santa (not just among the gijinka), though the specifics will still need to be discussed.

I think I can donate to the prize pot.
I am low on gold so it might be difficult.
But a secret santa among the people would be nice and fun.
