As of recently the female had been coming across a number of curios personalities and even more particular was the fact that most of them were of males. Must have been the luck of the draw. All of the fellows were pleasant enough, but none were as distinct to the female as her meeting Sukari. He was the first male she met after waking from her extended sleep. He was the grumpiest, rudest, meanest, foulest male she’d met. Maybe that’s why she thought of him so much. Iola didn’t hate Grump-Grump. She thought of him as a possible friend… but it didn’t mean her thoughts of his personality type were described as kind. If anything, the lioness looked up to the male as an older brother or father that she never had. He commanded that sort of expression.
Dozing atop a rock pile, the female blinked lazily. She found keeping her eyes open hard. The blinding light from the sun overhead made the safe darkness behind her eyelids more tantalizing. Sunbathing, her tummy was warmed by the sun while her back pressed against the hot surface of the rocks. The female was blanketed in warmth, a content ease to sooth her tensed muscles from a few days of bouncing about. Watching the clouds slowly glide past overhead, the female silently thought of the forms they resembled. A small smile curling her maw as she assigned humorous images to the clouds.
