Imagine that you have travelled out of your body... onto the astral plane... and you have a new body there, the shape of your soul... what shape would you be? What is your true form?

You are on the astral plane. Your astral body is shaped like what you believe yourself to be. It can be a fairy or an angel, it can be a demon, it can be an alien, an animal, a mythical creature such as a dragon.

The astral body is connected to your real body with a cord of light. That line is your life. Your astral body is slightly transparent. Its colors are the colors of your aura. If you meet other astral bodies, your astral body can pass trough them. This is considered the most intimate contact on the astral plane. It feels special. You can manipulate light and clouds of mist - these are visible to others. You can make the light look like flames.

Pink: romance
Blue: open and generous
Green: creativity
Teal: powerful healer
Violet: visionary
Silver: wisdom

Elisa was reading a book about New Age mystique. She read the description of Astral Travel. It seemed easy. Since she had nothing better to do, she closed her eyes and began meditating. She concentrated on the image she had seen in the book, of a spirit leaving its body. She visualized her spirit, a fairy form. She felt a sense of floating. She opened her eyes.

Elisa was in a gray land of shadows. Everything around her was transparient. Her room, the walls... she could walk trough the walls. She looked at herself. She was blue all over. Elisa looked in the mirror but she had no reflection anymore. She tried flying, and felt her wings open and close. She left the house, to explore the Astral Plane. She could see weird lights in some places - something was happening. Magic?

Elisa watched the green flames. When they ended, she moved closer, to try and find out what caused them. She saw Anjo. "Hello?"

Elisa was startled by the cross tone of the other. "I am sorry... this is my first time here... and you are the first person I meet... those lights you made, they were beautiful. Very beautiful. But if I disturbed you I will go away... there must be others..." she started to drift backwards. Her astral form flared with a rainbow iridescence for a moment, then settled back to its blue color.

"It is amazing! Like a different world, and yet it is part of our world. I can look at people and they can't see me. I think... it would be fun to spy on people here. To go in someone's house and watch them. Have you ever done that?" Elisa surprised herself with this idea. It was as if she'd left her conscience behind. "A fairy, well... I like fairies. They used to be creatures of terror and dread, before the Christians brought demons along." She laughed. "Admittely... those fairies didn't have wings. But I like wings. I've got a tattoo of fairy wings..." she turned to show, then paused, "oh wait, no, it's on my body, silly me!"

Elisa took the offered hand - or tried to, but her hand passed right through Aijo's hand. As it happened she felt a shock of intense happiness and pleasure. "Oh! What was that?" She wondered aloud. Her astral body was glowing red mixed with the blue, now. Her hand trailed sparks, connecting her body to Aijo's body.
