updated LINKS: *i may put up summaries later guys... just really late right now* Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber Light Up EMA Show Powerhouse performances abound at Eva Longoria-hosted event. http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1651712/20101107/lady_gaga.html
the 3 performances: http://consequenceofsound.net/2010/11/07/watch-ema-performances-from-linkin-park-rihanna-katy-perry/
^^honestly, the above performances for the 2 ladies make my ear bleed sad i mean, i wouldnt mind "bad vocals" if it were anybody else, but these people are considered professionals?... that's depressing. I should be singing up there instead, lol. but its not only the tone of their voices, but its also that they have NO emotion, PASSION, love for their music!... (well, they didnt write the music.. but that is often not the case for other musicians who can sing passionately) i'm sorry. I try to be positive towards people's performances most of the time, but there are times for HONESTY, and this is my true opinion..... i'm very disappointed. there's nothing WRONG about what they're doing, and i'm sure they do work hard (for **money/fame**), but just for the sake of ART, wish our generation could be marked or be REMEMBERED by singers who can actually SING. ....... even taylormomsen's pretty reckless has better vocals, lol. she not that badddd...(they played) miley's voice isnt awful either wink http://www.sawfnews.com/Gossip/65674.aspx
u guys understand me?...
where's gaga?!.. oh yeah, touring for her fans X3

I believe some people are thinking that the VMAs was Gaga's pinnacle of her career.
Once her third album gets out, she'll top her own peaks.
Perry's been getting a lotta love and exposure since she's been dominating the billboards lately, but I hope Gaga destroys her.

Gaga will destroy Perry, like at the VMAs.
Of course, this will just cause more fun to be made fun of by the Fashion Police. After Gaga won the awards, Joan was comparing the fashion of Katy Perry and Rihanna and there was a pool party picture when she said:
"You know they're just trying to push Lady Gaga's head into the water and trying to drown her."
Or something like that.

I suddenly have the feeling of more fan wars once Gaga releases Born This Way [album].. I think I may be going off to far but well I've noticed how Firework by Katy is about freedom and then will come Born This Way [song] that's also about freedom.. Maybe some Katy fans will start talking crap about Gaga.. And also Firework sounds like if Katy is trying to cover her rudeness because she does tend to be very rude at times..

There will always be fan wars as long as the "idol" addresses the other "idol". In this case, Katy Perry seems to have something to say about Gaga on several different occasions. She might mean nothing by it, but the fans take everything outta proportion. I don't think Gaga has mentioned any other pop names since she's been on the scene, except for Taylor Swift and that was to compliment her. The important thing is to notice that Gaga is not just about the music. She's been trying to carry this liberation scheme throughout her interviews, tours, songs, messages in her fashion, and even in her tweets. Perry, on the other hand, is a little bit more shy when it comes to carrying that message outside of her music. I will not be participating in instigating any wars in the future. I'll help finish them on the behalf of Gaga, of course, and I hope that you guys will be there too.

We heard it on the piano and in live performances, can't we heard the real version just as a sneak peek?.. xd
