I've tried Ebay and well it doesn't help.

I'm basically looking for belt buckles that are the type you get on normal belts that are shaped like this [ ] but has a little prong in the center that you stick into your belt holes. I'm not looking for those western like belt buckle that are mostly used for cowboy like styled belts.

I think their called D' shaped buckles but I have YET to find any that aren't jewled or tiny or attached to some $50 or so belt.

If anyone knows a good place either online or a store I can try to look for to find them that would be great!

It's the only key piece I'm missing for my Edward Elric Belt prodject ^_^

Well, D-Rings look like THIS, but I don't know if it's what you're looking for. There's alot of Online Notions Shops (including the one I pulled that image off of) out there, so I'm sure you'll be able to find one somewhere...

First stops, your local fabric store or craft store. Sometimes they have those in, but you might have to look a little.

Can't find it there? Hit the thrift store, a couple bucks can get you the belt with buckle, if you find the one you want, and then you just remove said buckle from the belt ^.^

They only have the ugly jewled colored ones that look like trash and their too small. I Dont' think I have a thrift store..... I'll try the Dollar Stores where I live to see if they have belts.

biggrin I have a ton of left over buckles (I buy them whole sale from Oregon leather company) let me know if either of these look like what you need, I put the on my fabric cuttin mat, which has 1X1" squares. The larger one is vintage brass so its really nice quality, but needs polishing, and deep (best with leather or some thing else thick) the smaller one would work with most any thing (execpt some thing very thick) its new and seems to be plated (lower quality)

thrift stores truely ARE the love~ heart

as for belt buckles I know you can get different kind of buckles at Hobby Lobby around the fabric/sewing area, since I was just recently looking for belt buckles myself.

good luck with your costume ^-^; ((and if you've already found what you need, congrats. ;; ))

ebay is pretty confusing at most time, and i dont really se alot of things on sale or to buy. like i wanted to buy something for a renji cosplay at least a wig or something like that,( how would you get those forehead markeings on one person for a cosplay of him? would you get a bald cap, draw it on and then attach a wig on it? pm me) i havnt seen alot of renji cosplay......sigh. well staying on track, ebay is soemtimes usfule and most of the time not. you c an google other places to buy or i think ther eia cosplay site, i think its called limebarb.com sells cosplays that are arleady done, and cosplay soemthing which sells many many things for cosplay or jsut ask someome to do it speicficly.

I recently learned that Leather Sellers usually have tons of buckles and straps, primarily meant for making your own belts.
