I suppose no one else has done this yet, so I might as well start.
What is the oldest PC game you've played that you can recall? Post the name of the game and the year or how old you were when you played it (if you can remember). Likewise, if you can, also put the year the aforementioned game was made.

I got my first PC when I was around 9-10 and the first PC game that I played on it was Starcraft. Got both the PC and Starcraft Battlechest as a christmas present and just went with the flow. I still have the entire battlechest in my room. Ah, the good old times.

My first/oldest PC game was the original Half-Life. Can't really remember but I think I was about six when I first played it.

The first PC game I ever played was Elmo's big crayon adventure! rated E for everyone. I played it when I was like 3 until I was 5. I was never big into computer games, but I did play certain games with my older cousins, but it was so long ago I can't even remember the name. I just remember shooting the crap out of stuff. Oh, but other than that, my first was backyard baseball homerun edition or something like that.

I recognize most of those games. Some of them are kind of modern, aren't they? =P And, nice, DOS games for the win. Hehe.

I was introduced to console games before PC games, the only PC games I have ever played were Unreal and WoW. I'm not much of a PC gamer, I like to stick to the consoles.

Oh yeah, I also remember playing Jill of The Jungle, there is also this old DOS 50s style auto mechanic game I remember playing, in it you owned a garage where you bought and sold cars, you could also take them apart and sale the engine and body seperately, then once you got a good enought car you could challenge racers at a drive thru. Sadly it's name escapes me.
Also I remember playing the old DOS Organ Trail.

I think everyone who was in elementary school at the same time I was has played Oregon Trail. I don't suppose it's there anymore. As for the other game about fixing cars, the first one that comes to mind is Gearhead Garage, which is also beyond DOS. It does fit the description you've given, though. Perhaps it was based on an older game?

Another old game I manage to remember playing in elementary was Hugo's House of Horrors, ah man such horrorable graphics.

Oregon Trail, Where in the World is Carmen San Diego, an old game based on the Underground Railroad....some good ol' DOS games. First one I owned and played at home was either Age of Empires 2 or Delta Force 2. I eventually picked up the old Age of Empires 1. Oh god that one was so much more annoying...
