If there ever were a soldier that Rosalind was envious of, it was Super MuCephei, the Soldier of Blood. Not only was she extremely competent in the way of battle and handling youma, but she also did so with the utmost grace and intelligence.
The battle this time was extremely close for Rosalind-- the youma was a hulking, titan-like creature that scooped things up and squished them with ease. Were it not for MuCephei, who happened to save the day right before her demise, Rosalind would have been squashed into frilly pancakes.
MuCephei arrived, gouged the youma in the center of its face, and the creature was dusted. Rosalind plummeted to the ground as it fell into dust particles, but managed to land rather gracefully, just so that she didn't look awful in her comrade's eyes.
"Oh, fancy meeting you again!! I must say," Rosalind started while flipping a strand of hair back, "if it weren't for you, I probably wouldn't have been alive at this moment." She curtsied slightly and smiled somewhat embarrassingly.

MuCephei blushed and curtsied in return, ladylike to the end as she tapped her hairpin back into place. "You were handling yourself very well all things considered." MuCephi said to re-assure you. We are here to help each other after all." "If you like... we may set up some time where we can practice, It can't truly be said that what we do comes naturally, we have so much to learn and such a steep learning curve." She offered with a smile.
"I'd really... like to help more people too, there were so few of us when I started, but so many now I hardly know all the names." She shook her head.

The Soldier of Wealth tilted her head as MuCephei spoke. She was truly awe-struck whenever she had something to say; Rosalind hoped that she would one day be as much a soldier as she was. "I am, honestly, in shock that you remain so calm and collected in such frustrating times." The brunette certainly understood her plight-- the wanting to help people, the need to help people. It was in their blood-- their destinies-- to do so, wasn't it? Rosalind found a bench next to MuCephei to rest upon for a brief moment. The frilly soldier dusted her rump off then sat daintily, making sure there was enough space for the Soldier of Blood to sit if she so desired.
"I know that there is a Soldier for every star out there, right? Everything in the heavens has a protector, right?" Rosalind, honestly, did not understand the way things worked sometimes. "I wonder, sometimes-- how did you realize you were a soldier? Have you always been good at battling, or did it come with time? I am sorry if I seem too forward with my questions..." Rosalind looked down as she trailed off, feeling slightly embarrassed. It would be enlightening, though, to know how one of the soldiers she respected the most started off.

MuCephei's eyes raised towards the heavens, searching for her own star, the 'garnet star' as it was also called, a giant red thing, slowly dying they said.
"Countless universes, countless worlds, I wonder if there are other worlds that we haven't even seen that are defended my senshi too...don't you?" She flashed a warm smile and had to duck her head and stifle a laugh. It was not a cruel laugh, not at all. It was simply strange to hear herself called a soldier.
"My...friend, she's left town now... She introduced me to Astaria, who... spat out a Henshin pen and told me I was a Senshi. After that... after that I was so very fortunate. My friend new people like Pegasus...and...she was in love with Sailor Nova, for a while at least. She trailed off, a moments sad look in her eyes at the world love.
"I still don't think I -have- realized, it's so strange to hear that word, I'm just doing the best I can. It's the best we can do isn't it? Do as best as we can and learn as much as we can from those like us. I was a -terrible- fighter when I first started too...I couldn't aim my needles to save my life, and that was very nearly the case. I think the only reason I am a 'super' sailor now is because I needed it just to survive.'"
She bit her lip and smiled slightly. "...well... that can't have been very comforting. But I do believe things will get easier for you." she nodded.

"Yes, I think there are more soldiers out there than there is evil-- I just wonder why we are all on this planet sometimes." Rosalind kicked a dainty foot up in the air, twirled her heel around while inspecting her shoe, then put it back down. "I mean, don't get me wrong. I really do love Earth, and I have no idea what it's like outside," she said while pointing up, "but I do wonder why we're all here together. Is this planet the one that is in dire need of protection all the time? Is Earth really that bad?" It was strange to be thinking such deep thoughts-- she normally never did so, but with MuCephei, for some reason, she seemed to do so quite often.
"Astraea, huh?" Rosalind continued to stare off at nothing in particular, thinking about her duties, "I haven't had the... pleasure of meeting her, though I've heard it's... interesting." Rosalind crossed her arms, then continued, "my awakening was rather strange. Derpraline, she's a child, actually-- showed up while I was out getting desserts. I had to transform to save myself and the kitten. In retrospect, I did awfully."
She continued to ponder, "I'm not sure if I have improved all too much, you know?"

"It never feels like you're doing any better till you succeed" MuCephi said gently and put a hand on the other girls shoulder just for a moment. "Here... register me in your phone if you haven't already, we'll practice together some evening. I think we could both use it." She smiled kindly. "I can even be very stern if you prefer." She grinned and tipped her chin down. "I'm told... I would have made a most -excellent- librarian, and they give the sternest looks. Well...except for the gentleman at the local library, she's far too nice to be a stern old 'Bas Bleu'.

"Oh, yes, I would absolutely love some training!" Rosalind gingerly pulled her sailor soldier phone out and began to register the Soldier of Blood's information into it, and hoped that she would do the same. She wasn't sure if the more experienced soldier would want to exchange information with a less-competent one, but it never hurt to ask. Rosalind informed MuCephei of all her information, and when all was said and done, they had exchanged information.
The Soldier of Wealth flipped a stray strand of glossy hair behind her shoulder, then continued to prod further, "do you have a team? I don't see why you wouldn't." Rosalind adjusted her collar, then continued, "I formed a team with Sailor Perseus. Have you met her? I think she would enjoy some of the training, as well. Together, we're known as Team Vogue. Would you be willing to offer assistance to both of us?"

Sailor MuCephi did indeed summon her cellphone too, black and red in colors and a bit 'vampiric'... except for the little black cat sticker on it. The small 'whirr' as she snapped a photo and then grinned at it, turning to show the Sailor of Wealth how it looked before closing it and looking considering. "I do have a team...Eternal Sailor Pegasus, she's our captain, we call ourselves the Dream Team" She smiled and blushed at the slightly 'silly' name. "I don't think I have met Perseus, but I'd be happy to meet you both AND assist you! The only thing I'd like to ask is that when you each learn, that you help new Senshi in turn." She nodded with a wide smile as though she had no doubt that they would carry out the task.

"Well, of course I will," Rosalind said thoughtfully, "why wouldn't I?" She smiled diminutively, then picked herself up and off the bench. Rosalind threw another glance up into the heavens, and although the stars weren't visible in the city lights, she knew they were all suspended above them. Hundreds and thousands-- millions?-- were all watching over them. MuCuphei was definitely one of those stars up there, but when would Rosalind be able to call herself as such?
"Maybe our teams could meet one another some day?" Rosalind inquired once again, bringing a finger to her chin in thought.

"I'd like that." MuCephei smiled, and it was genuine... "I'd like that quite a lot if I can gather them all, I will ask at our next meeting." She said and stood, glancing upward she asked... "Tell me about your star?"

As MuCephei asked her own question in return, Rosalind arched her back and crossed her arms in thought. About her star, huh? To be completely honest, she really didn't know too much-- just what she had researched on her own.
"Welllllll," she began, "I'll be honest with you: I only know what I've read." She blushed, then continued, "Rosalind is a moon of Uranus, and..." She trailed off, looking into the sky once more, "that's as far as my knowledge extends!" Rosalind giggled into the back of her hand, making sure to not let her feminine laughter get too out of hand. It was unbecoming of a lady, or so she thought.
"And you? What about your star?" Rosalind did not remove her glance from the stars-- she felt as though, if she looked long and hard enough, she might be able to see the stars they were speaking of.

"I know a little..." She confessed. "Apparently it's also called the garnet star, it's dying... I confess their a LITTLE morbid part of me that wonders what will happen if it -does- die. Though I also hope I won't find out." She blushed and smiled.

A... dying star? Rosalind began to think about what would happen should the star die. She looked at MuCephei worriedly, then looked away. It must have made her seem childish to do so. the night was beginning to grow old, the moon reaching higher and higher into the heavens-- unfortunately, it was time for the Soldier of Wealth to find her way home.
A bubble bath and body lotion were calling her!
"As much as I hate it," she began, "I must get going... I may be a protector of justice, but I think my father would begin to suspect something was wrong if I came home much later." She curtsied once more, then dashed off into the night. "So long, MuCephei," she called out, "be safe, and I will be in contact with you!!"
As she found her way home, she continued to wonder... How many stars were there in the sky?

"Understandable..." She laughed, "I should go too, their is only so much time I can spend away without someone questioning"
How could she ever explain it after all, she wasn't even close to graduating, but she had a duty. She stood a long while and watched the other senshi vanish into the evening before turning and starting towards home herself.
She thought, just for tonight, she might do a little research on astrology.
