STUDENT COUNCIL VOTING BOOTH The overly-eager student council volunteer was back, serrated teeth bracers and all. She flashes you a huge smile. "Guess what time it is?!"
You almost run screaming for your life, but by sheer determination, make it past her.
The VOTING BOOTH lies ahead of you, a small, surreptitious desk with a large stack of papers. Next to the desk is what looks something like a stolen, upturned mailbox. Very roughly painted on it are the words "VOTES GO HERE".
It is time to make that decision that will change students' lives. Or just make yourself feel self-important and all.

Shehk couldn't help but have taken some time thinking over her 'voting' options. What the hell, some of these people hadn't even made a speech! What a rip off! Who wanted someone representing them who hadn't even made the effort to make a speech?
That was sort of..uhh.. egotistical of them, wasn't it? Even Count Chocula had made an appearance, and he wasn't even an option on the ballot!! Either way, she frowned at the form one last time before shoving the piece of paper into the mailbox, folded up (and not exactly doing it all that gracefully. D'oh!).
"Hmph. Let's see how many people agree with me."

After that rousing time of campaigning and speech listening, Tess knew who she was voting for. Well, she already knew who had her votes for Secretary, Vice, and Treasurer (as evidenced by the numerous pins decorating her blouse) but she had to admit she was torn between the remaining two positions. She gave Shehk a small smile and a wave of her hand as she fluttered past. With little fuss and even less muss, Tess legibly wrote down her choices because it would be a terrible, terrible shame for her vote to be forfeit because the commission on elections (or the Amityville's equivalent thereof) couldn't read a word on the scrap of paper that was now safely tucked into the ballot box.

Siddie had made up her mind already. (Well, not literally. Working with brains was pretty gross. But anyway.) When she stepped into the voting booth, it took very little time for her to write down the names of the candidates she'd chosen. She folded the ballot and slipped it into the box.
She gave a little nod to Shekh and Tess as she left, smiling at the other girls - never hurt to be friendly, right?

Tahki made her way past the other students as fast as she could and went into the safety of the voting booth to cast her vote. She wasn't all the way sure of the who. It was a tough call honestly, but the gryphon did her best to vote fairly.
She emerged from her booth and turned her ballet in. Tahki didn't linger long, she was out as quickly as she had come.

Lucien wasn't terribly sure where he was when he passed a table that caught his eye. It happened to be the voting booth and the words "VOTES GO HERE" caught his attention rather quickly. Not entirely sure what this was, Lucien caught a list of names nearby. With haste, he filled out five ballots just like a normal voter would do: names randomly placed on each piece of paper. He then proceeded to place them in the eye catching box before he carried along with what he was doing: chasing a strange rat around the campus.

"Now, you know who to vote for?" She asked skeptically, rubbing the back of Junko's head in a manner similar to rubbing Her chin. Junko smiled and nodded.
"Uh huh! I've decided!"
"You're gonna vote for that Nuk guy, right? You can't deny him what he wants...it's...uh...very noble." Junko frowned
"It's not noble! She looked mortified when I asked if she was the ghoul on the posters!" She huffed, stepping into the booth. She knew who she was voting for! But She also knew who She wanted to be voted in, so she two had a bit of a disagreement in the booth. Junko had to cross out a few names when She learned there was a second pen she could grab and write with herself until Junko swatted her away and wrote in big bold letters the people she wanted voted. Hmph! She finally put her very messy ballot into the box, walking away with her cheeks puffed and her eyes narrowed, glaring toward the annoying mouth in the back of her head.
"That was fun!" She laughed. "Let's do it again!" Junko grabbed the bento box out of her sleeve and smacked it against the back of her head. "OW!"
"You deserved that."

Iggy stared at the ballot before her. It was so hard to chose! She liked most of these students and thought that they would all do a good job.
She pondered and thought and thought and pondered. Finally she made her choices and scrawled the names of her picks on the paper. Carefully folding it she then placed it in the ballot box before leaving the voting booth.

Davi's lips pressed together as she stretched further out into the hall (a safe distance away from SAWtooth over there). A folded piece of paper was twirled absently in her claws, the blanks after the positions left, for now, empty. Her good-student inklings were kicking in, jackdamnit; and obvious choices were no longer obvious.
Okay, so she hadn't been that present in the campaign booths. Or...in them at all, as things turned out - so many buttons and treats and probably food lost! But she'd been there for the speeches...and that was the whole problem. Count Chocula aside (where the loup-garou had raised a silent, tightly-clenched fist of solidarity - you da Count, independents will rise!), she had both ears swiveled toward the stage. She had listened to the candidates who'd come out to speak. And before that, she'd known who she wanted to vote for. After, she no longer...well, knew, y'know? Bats' crap.
Chuffing softly, Davinica flipped open the piece of paper in her hands and began to fill in the blanks.

Well. Those speeches - and the lack of a few - had given Malodore... very little to think about, actually. It hadn't been paying very close attention to the booths, and had only really listened to what had been said on the podium. And those who hadn't spoken, well...
Time to get it over with. Malodore picked up its ballot and filled it out with swift, sure strokes before folding it neatly and putting it in the box.
Well, that was a thoroughly useless endeavor.

While she had somehow missed the speeches, Belladonna felt confident in her ability to properly chose a leader (or a few!) for her new school. So with a light step she pounced upon the booth, scribbling her votes in a loopy hand (but not her loopiest. That was reserved for very special occasions). Her head gave a curt nod after dropping the ballot into the box, waving at the few people she had passed by. Idly she wondered who everyone was voting, but asking would be invasion of privacy and while most of the time she rather enjoyed invading people's privacy, this wasn't one of those instances.
Now if Shek had a juicy secret, then yes. Invasion was in full order.

Amrita was quite proud of herself: She remembered to come and vote! The brightly coloured square on her calendar had nothing to do with it, really. Armed with an envelope containing three pins and a piece of paper, she made her way to the voting area. This was so exciting! So very exciting! The speeches were fantastic (though that one boy was just short of terrifying), and she thought that in some way, each of them deserved to have a spot for merely having the courage to face the entire school. Well, the talent part was important, too.
The little Vetala hung back a little bit until it was less crowded, and once she felt comfortable enough to not have her toes stepped on by accident, headed to the desk. She took a peek at the buttons and the paper, and cast her votes to match. As always she wrote as clearly as she could, so intent on making it at least readable that she had leaned in close enough to practically put her nose to the paper.
Once done, she folded up the paper carefully, and put it in the...questionable mailbox ballot box.

Julian would have been perfectly happy with not voting at all. But he had made a promise and was going to keep it, so he rushed up to cast his vote. The sooner he did, the sooner he could leave.
It was a hard choice on some of them. Some were pretty much on equal footing, while other positions it was pretty clear who he should vote for. The speeches had, for the most part, been very good, so he had to rely mostly on what they said they would do and how they had acted. Who was most likely to actually get the job done. He'd be honest to say public relations was the hardest of the positions to choose a candidate to vote for.
Vote cast, he turned around and walked briskly out.

He came out from the princess corner twitching. All the pink. All the glitter. All of those plushies. Staring at him. With their beady little glass eyes. Soulless. Digging into his very being. He was sure one or two even smelt of..dare he say it? Of baby powder? The soft warm plushies had almost broken him. But he was Israfel! He would not break! No, no! He was going to do this! Fight the system! Fight the power. Running into the voting booth, students could hear the Siren's warcry. "FOR CHOCOLATE!"
He came out a few minutes later, snake pen wiggling in his hair. He was victorious.
