Introduction
Welcome to Creativity, not just a profile.
This thread was started to help inspire others to get creative with their profiles.
Let’s face it; some profiles out there are just bland and a little inspiration wouldn’t hurt. Here, people can exchange ideas, get constructive and share advice, to stun and awe every visitor to our profiles and to glorify ourselves just a bit. I understand that not everyone can use Wix on the same level as others; this is where experimentation comes in. Make a new profile and just go crazy with it, mad even! Play around with all the features wix provides. Try and do things you don’t think you can do even; it helps to show what Wix’s limits or what your limits really are. (and if you get stuck, we'll all help out) Once you finally decide on building your real profile, or just a brand new one, it helps to find a theme to tie it all together. The theme could be simple like a color, or obscure like a music type. Or you could just throw the theme idea out the window and make everything clash! (In a good way) The real point is, to set your profile to an idea, one that idea is yours and speaks ‘you’. It’ll speak your personality and show people a little about yourself. UpdatesRemade the entire page, added more links to General info and support, and added a Flash Games and Videos spot there. I'll be making a tutorial complete with screen shots on how to download flash files for Firefox and Internet explorer.

To boost up your profile look. Google (It's always been a good place) DeviantART (Many artists make these for free use to the public) Newgrounds (They have a growing collection of art, most of it is cool!) Elfwood (Try here for some stunning Scifi/fantasy art.) Other art websites (I mainly go to DeviantART, I don't really know of any other good places) Music
For those in need of a beat YouTube (I must admit, you can find some good things there) DeviantART (All you need to do is look) I am also working on a way to add Playlist to Wix. Graphics Personalization
To make things a little more you Gimp (It's free, downloadable, and it's not hard to learn how to use) I'll post links to tutorials if anyone needs them Flash Games and VideosTutorial on how to download and upload flash files coming soon. I recommend you ask the creator for permission before you use these.Note:Only AS3 flash files are supported by wix, AS1 and AS2 will not work. Special effects...wixThe theme behind this was actually inspired by something I've been doing for a while now. I have a thread called My Good self, or my Evil self? There I let Gaia choose if I'm using my good avi or my evil one. I've even made my own avi art for the subject. Since it's been going on since march I decided to continue this theme into my profile. When you enter, you have the choice to view my good side's profile or my evil side's profile. I've gotten plenty of positive feedback from this, and heard plenty of negative for others' wix profiles. This is the reason why this thread was born actually. Profile by me

Special effects...wix again. I made this for XxAvatarLastAirbenderxX, I did my best to make it look awesome. It's obvious what the theme is, it was an awesome show (I still have not yet seen the movie) Each of the four symbols leads to it's own page. I used music found on the show for the entire profile, and the art is nothing but really good fan art, I looked for the best pictures I could find. I hope he likes it, as it's not done yet, and it still needs some direction from him. Contests I'll be holding a contest every now and then, I'll be asking a few people to sit out so they can judge them with me.
The winning profile will be Featured and there may be an item or gold prize to go with it.

But yeah, I agree with you, but everyone has their own ways of showing creativity.
For the Avatar one... It's not actually a profile? OwO

You are right, there are some pretty unoriginal profiles using wix, however some find it to be hard to get a hang of. Which is fine, My guild and my crew are here to teach everyone so that their creativity can flow.
Wix has a huge variety of things you can do and add to your profile, as well as the custom options it allows you to use. the possibilities are endless.
The more you play with the wix editor, the more you will find and the more creativity you can express in your profile. It takes time and practice but the end project can be great.

Which is why I asked you to be a Crew Member, Unlike my assistants who code with me, I like having crew members with a creative side, who can teach others to do the same.
