Sybil was a quiet otter, who very often chose to keep to herself, she lurked in the shadows or went out at night after most of the reserve had turned in for the night. The sound of silence, had been her closest and dearest friend, for she really didn't speak, and no one was quiet certain if she even knew how too.

Sybil awoke in the late afternoon under that of the dark shade of an old oak tree, yawning she blinked her eyes open, stood and stretched. As she was stretching out her legs, much to her surprise and displeasure a little black and white mini otter had ran up to her and latched itself onto her leg.

At first she tried desperately to shake it off, but it just continued to cling on, now staring up at her with an absolutely goofy expression on its face. Huffing she tried to pull it off, but no sooner she did, it ran back and clung onto her leg again. Realizing that this was going no where, Sybil set off in search of some help with this matter.

It wasn't too cold today, so fishing was easy and good, and he wasn't in the mood to try and take the Ranger's jeep today, which was new for him. He guessed with putting on the pounds for the first snow coming, he was more lethargic for the winter. He guessed this is what it meant to be a wild otter.

He stopped his trek when he saw a dark colored otter walking close by, her eyes looking very familiar, as if he personally knew an otter with eyes like that.

Sybil had continued to walk along the river banks, for the first time out of the shadows in a while, hoping that she might find someone, anyone really soon to help with her new found issue. At this thought she looked down at the mini attached to her leg and whined a little, stopping in her tracks and shaking her leg like mad once more trying to get the small thing off of her.

Seeing that this tactic was still useless she huffed and looked up along the river bank to notice a male otter not that far ahead. At first she hesitated, wondering if this was really a good idea, but feeling the mini still wrapped around her leg she thought it better then having to deal with this much longer.

Taking a breathe she built up the nerve and headed in the direction of the male in blue.

Speed turned himself when the female made her way over and he tilted his head at the sight of the mini otter attached to her leg, "Are you ok? Is he bothering you?" he asked her.

Sybil sighed and cringed slightly when she reached the male otter, and the first thing he did was speak to her, which was only to be expected. However, it was to say the least complicated. First she shook her head no to address him asking her if she was alright, and then in response to his second question, though she wanted to nod her head vigorously she realized this could cause some confusion, so instead she huffed and shook her leg to show him that the little mini otter refused to let go, or stop giving her that stupid googly eyed look.

He tilted his head a bit when all she did was seem to gesture with her answers, but when she lifted up her leg to show the clinging otter, he shook his head, "Well, is he your pet? You know what they say about pets, they can be really clingy and not want to leave their owners side!" he said and he went closer, poking at the otter, "Hey now, let her go!" he scolded.

Shaking her head side to side she answered the best she knew how, *no he is not my pet, and I want it off* she thought in her head, and shook her paw again.

When Speed had gotten closer to Sybil the little mini puffed up his fur trying to look bigger and to get the other male to back away. But when he was poked he chittered a bit at him unhappily, "mine, mine, mine! Get your own!"

At hearing the little mini, Sybil became more flustered, *Oh great it speaks too and rather loudly*, and wanted this little guy gone, and shook her leg a little more violently.

Speed stepped back a bit when he was yelled at, "Hey, you don't need to be rude! I mean you're obviously making her uncomfortable. I mean if a mini was clinging to my leg, I would be scared it would cut off the blood to my foot and then how would I drive?!" His eyes went wide and he tried prying the mini off, "Come on now, you'll impede her ability to drive, you can't do that to her!"

Though Sybil wasn't exactly certain why driving had to do with anything, or even what that was, she did however agree that the mini needed to get off, and get off now. So when the male had grabbed a hold of the mini and started pulling, she started pulling her leg in the opposite direction in hopes that this actually might work.

However, the mini seemed to have other plans, and wasn't going to let Sybil go all that easily, and while holding onto her leg for dear life made scratching at the other male out. The little mini decided he could however, bite, and thus he did.

Speed yelped, but he wasn't about to let up and he yanked back hard, finally feeling the mini let her go.

Being dislodged from Sybil's leg the mini squeaked and then squirmed to get away from the male. "No, no I don't want you I want to be with her!" He protested rather obnoxiously and then bit at Speed again to get free.

Sybil's face gleamed as she stumbled backwards from the force of the pull and her now free leg. *Finally!* were her exact thoughts. But no sooner did the thought cross her mind did she see the mini break free and barrel his way towards her. Jumping into the air Sybil flapped her wings hoping to get out of the minis reach. Much to her dismay however, she watched as the mini leaped into the air and grabbed a hold of her tail with the same death grip as it had before, which threw off her balance and sent her tumbling to the ground.

He yelped again when he was bit and let the mini go to check his arm. The bite wasn't deep, thankfully, but when he heard the thud, he looked over and saw the female was in the same predicament, except the little otter was clinging to her tail. "Hmmmm...Oh, I know!! Follow me, I know a great way to get him off you for good!" he said, gesturing for her to follow him.

Getting up from the ground Sybil shook herself off, and then looked back at the mini now attached to her tail, narrowing her eyes she said silently to herself, "Well, that's maddeningly unhelpful." Before turning her attention back towards the male otter. Shrugging slightly she decided to follow, figuring about anything was worth a shot, and if it meant getting the mini off for good she was all for the idea.

Speed lead them away from the river and soon they left the forest into the area of the Rangers cabin. And parked out front, in it's usual spot was the good ol' jeep and Speed felt the excitement of driving it bubbling up. Dashing over to a spot, he patted it with his paw, "Ok, you stand here. I'm going to scare that mini off you for good this time!" he said.

When she was finally where he wanted her, he dashed away and went straight to the jeep, knowing his plan would work this time.

Sybil had followed him all the way to the ranger's cabin and wondered what exactly they were doing here. When he told her to stand in a certain spot she went and stood there, though she quirked a brow curious as to what exactly he had planned, and why he was running to the strange looking contraption that the ranger used and made a lot of noise.

Meanwhile, the mini otter peaked out from around Sybil wondering what was going on and saying rather obnoxious, "you're not going to get rid of me!"
