This place is by far the liveliest place in this city. It is always full of life. Many thief's are here stealing jewels, riches, food, and whatnot. Many merchants pass by here because they know how poor people are and can get there money quite easily.

╔ ДȿɦϯѺɳ ▬ ӺεʟϝѺʀ ╗ {Death Knight - Beast Master/Survivalist} "For my sister...for my people..." Even earliy in the morning, the marketplace was filled by a faceless sea of people, the residents of Galebane. Amongst them, Ashton pushed lighty through the crowd, eager to get back to his training. His glaive, attatched safely to it's holster on his back, clinked as he walked, although the sound was easily dwarfd by that of the murmurring crowd. "I'll never get through at this rate..." He thought, pushing with a little more force.
Along the way, he caught sight of a small child, eight at the very most, staring longingly at a loaf of bread situated on one of the market stalls. The little girl was reaching out to it, only to have her hand grabbed by the stall owner, who then begain yelling a series of curses towards her. The sudden look of fear in her eyes was enough for Ashton react, he had seen that fear before. The day his own sister, Tyriel, recieved the news that no doctor in the city could possibly be able to treat her illness, that they had no idea how long she would live.
"Excuse me? I'm really sorry about that, my sister here doesn't really know much about how a market works. I'll be paying for that." He lied to the man, keeping a calm, yet somewhat happy facial expression to give the illusion that the girl had done this before. As the stall owner calmed down a little, Ashton took out a few coins and gave them to him, taking the loaf of bread and squatting down in front of the little girl. "Now, no more trying to take without permission okay? Be a good girl and go back home." He told her, handing her the loaf and lightly patting her on the head before standing up. The girl grinned at him and headed off in the opposite direction, probably eager to tell whoever it was she could that he had been so nice to her. As much of a warrior as he was, Ashton always had a soft spot for children, most likely because of Tyriel. Once the girl was out of sight, he continued his way down the path, unsuprisingly having to push even more as more and more people turned up."For my home...for my country..."

Ⱥ Ȓogue of the Ƞight Ͼɽӌʂʈᾳɭɭiɳϵ paused in the middle of the crowded market. She took a deep breath as she looked around for items from her list, which seemed like a near impossible task. She loosened her coat to air herself from the close space surrounding her. Slowly, she moved to a corner and noticed a happy young girl pass by her holding bread. How cute... She focused her attention back on her list and looked up to a small stand show-casing spices and minerals from several neighboring countries.

╔ ДȿɦϯѺɳ ▬ ӺεʟϝѺʀ ╗ {Death Knight - Beast Master/Survivalist "For my sister...for my people..." Ashton was growing weary of all these people, it was like no matter how far he walked he wouldn't get any closer to his destination since he left the house. He pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration. "Calm yourself Ashton, we don't need you slicing your way through just because you want to put in some glaive practice." He told himself. As he contemplated whether or not it was worth continuing or just heading back to spend the rest of the day with his sister, he felt a scraggly looking man bump into his shoulder. "Oh, I'm sorry." The man said before trying to hurry away from him. After a couple of seconds of watching his movements, Ashton sighed, he was just the victim of a passing thief. The coin pouch that was attatched to his belt, which was until recently touching against his bare side, was gone. "I pray for his sake that stealing from me was for a good cause." He said to himself before giving chase."For my home...for my country..."

Ⱥ Èogue of the È ight Chrystalline smiled as she purchased a vial of cinnamon and a small pouch of pepper. She thanked the vendor before taking a step back into the crowded square. Her arm grazed the sleeve of a quickly paced man, who seemed to be followed closely by a large man. Thievery? Wonder if he's in my circuit? She stood for a brief moment before her curiousty got the best of her, and she followed suit.

╔ ДȿɦϯѺɳ ▬ ӺεʟϝѺʀ ╗ {Death Knight - Beast Master/Survivalist} "For my sister...for my people..." The man was fast, but Ashton kept him with his vision. After running low on options, the thief banked right quickly into an old alleyway, hiding until he saw Ashton run passed his location. Sighing heavily and catching hold of his breath, he smiled and laughed a little to himself, throwing the coin puch in the air and catching it. After a few moments of counting the pieces of gold, he stood up slowly, only to be staring down at the tip of a blade, looking up in terror as his gaze met Ashton's. "Having fun?" He asked, a small smile on his face, glaive held in one hand. "B-but you--- "Ran by the opening to this spot without a second thought? You'd think that, but..." Ashton pointed up at the rooftop connected to the wall that made part of the alley. "The front door isn't the only way to get into a house, a thief like you should know that already." He said, the glaive now pressed lightly against the man's throat."For my home...for my country..."

Ⱥ Ȓogue of the Ƞight Ͼɽӌʂʈᾳɭɭiɳϵ was quietly behind the two, only stopping her steps once she was sure where the two had gone. She studied the old building for a moment, it looked run down and helpless, a perfect yet obvious hiding place for a thief. She strolled quietly to the doorway and peeked in, glad she was at an angle where niether man would notice her immediately. The young girl glanced at the idiotic thief and gave a light sigh.Stupid man...She paused, debating whether or not to help a complete stranger, or to challenge one who clearly had experience with his weapon of choice...but she knew better than to walk away. Chrystalline took one large step, letting both men see her before speaking, a light smirk on her face."Hello boys. Any trouble here?"

╔ ДȿɦϯѺɳ ▬ ӺεʟϝѺʀ ╗ {Death Knight - Beast Master/Survivalist} "For my sister...for my people..." Aston's gaze shifted at the sound of a woman's voice, but did not budge. Seeing the woman, he sighed in his mind. "It's just one thing after another in this place isn't it?" He thought, shaking his head at her question. "Why not at all miss, he's learnt his lesson, haven't you?" He asked calmly, looking back at him. The would-be thief gulped lightly and nodded once. Smiling a little, Ashton knelt down in front of him and took the pouch with his free hand, his other lowering his weapon. He had no intention of fighting the man, just to scare him enough to never try to steal from him again. Standing up and taking a step back, Ashton jerked his head back to the open streets, telling the man he was off the hook for now. Scrambling to his feet, the thief quickly ran out into the marketplace without so much of a second glance at the two. Reattatching the pouch and holstering his weapon, he looked over to the newcomer and tilted his head a little. "If it's alright, may I at least know your name?" He asked, although deciding it didn't matter either way, in a city as big as Galebane, it was unlikely that they would meet by chance again."For my home...for my country..."

Ⱥ Ȓogue of the Ƞight Ͼɽӌʂʈᾳɭɭiɳϵ studied the man for a moment, her arms crossed as she scoffed at the thief. He'll have to learn quickly..." Turning her attention back to the man she swallowed a sigh. She hated giving information out, especially about herself, even if it was a simple name. Her words came hardened, letting a hand rest on her hip. "Crystalline. And you?" The coat around her tightened with a tug as she prevented a shiver, this area being substantionally colder than the crowded plaza. She awaited his response as she toyed with drawstring on her pouch, already wishing she hadn't been so nosy.

╔ ДȿɦϯѺɳ ▬ ӺεʟϝѺʀ ╗ {Death Knight - Beast Master/Survivalist} "For my sister...for my people..." Ashton studied Crystalline's actions as she introduced herself, it was obvious to him that she didn't want to be talking to him, let alone giving him any details about herself. "Nice name you've got, I'm Ashton." He said, really not concerned whether or not he told her his name. Stretching lightly, he saw the shiver she made, even in her attempt to fight against it. A smile played across his lips, her actions were trying to give her a tough-looking persona, but the shiver broke that just a little in Ashton's opinion. Seeing as they really didn't have much else to say that was necessary, he started walking in the direction of the market, passing by her nonchalantly. Before he turned the corner, he turn his head back to Crystalline and smiled lightly. "If you're cold, you're welcome to join me for a cup of tea or something warm to eat...that is, if you're willing to follow me and figuring out where I live." He offered, the second part more a jest towards her unwillingness to give her own information, but still inquiring about his own."For my home...for my country..."

Ⱥ Ȓogue of the Ƞight Ͼɽӌʂʈᾳɭɭiɳϵ narrowed her eyes at the man's joke, yes she may be nosey, but she was never intrusive, nor so blatant. With a quick shake of her head she spoke, trying her best to sound polite. "No thanks. I still have a bit of shopping to do." She exited the rubble herself and added one more setence with a light wave of goodbye, "See ya' around Ashton." As she entered the vast crowd she knew it would be highly unlikely to see im again but it wouldn't help to make an enemy. With a mental shrug she continued her search of fresh food to purchase.

╔ ДȿɦϯѺɳ ▬ ӺεʟϝѺʀ ╗ {Death Knight - Beast Master/Survivalist} "For my sister...for my people..." Ashton smiled and waved a little back before heading in the opposite direction. On his way, he stopped in front of a small flower stall, staring at a couple of frangipani's. "Hmm...those were the ones Tyriel liked..." He thought, shrugging to himself, he hadn't really thought about purchasing anything on his way here, the pouch was just in case. After a few minutes of haggling, he sighed in defeat, the merchant obviously had more experience in this than he did. Paying for the flowers, he continued through the crowd back home. His thoughts went back to Crystalline for just a moment on his journey. "She clearly wasn't a Death Knight...a neutral then?" He said to himself as he headed towards the housing hills."For my home...for my country..."

Raven came to the market today to pick up some herbs and some minor items for his class. He was walking a long the side of the street where few people walked as to not be in the middle of the rush and pushing. While he was walking to Herevy's shop to get his herbs, he started to remember why he hated this city. This place is where he was born but left not soon after. "All these years and I am back in the middle of all this. The ones who killed my parents main base is here. But at last I am not bothered by them any more, even if I am one of there most wanted criminals in there book." By the time he was done talking to himself he was at the shop. He entered and bought what he needed and made his way back into the busy market place. He kept a close eye on the faces of the people who passed him.

xxxxxxx████████████████████ ███ Bard » Minstrel ██████████████████████████████ "Gather 'round, gather 'round! Ladies an' gents, boys an' girls! How 'bout a song, t' light up these dark times, eh? Gather 'round, gather 'round!"In the center of the marketplace, a young man dressed in an eccentric, outlandish outfit consisting of scarves, shawls, puffed sleeves and the like, smiled brightly as he hollered for people to "gather 'round" and listen to his music. In one hand was a set of pan pipes, waved above his head to attract more listeners; in the other hand was a lute. A small wicker basket was on the ground, presumably to collect tips from any passer byers that enjoyed his music. Once a suitable crowd had gathered, the man smiled and placed the lyre down near him. "M'kay all! Thank you for takin' time outta' your busy day to listen t' lil' ol' me! Bob will not disappoint!" Placing the pan flute to his lips, the bard closed his eyes in a serene expression, and began to blow. It started out as a slow ballad, a well-known lullaby that mothers sung to their children at night. The song spoke of mermaids and hidden treasures, of heroes and pirates that gave life and limb to search for one or the other. But just as the atmosphere began to build up, the pipes began to climb up the scale, higher and higher until it gave a final screech. Ripping the pan pipes from his lips, the blue-haired minstrel began to sing, countryside accent and slur disappearing completely. "Riding on the winds and the waves from the west," He sang, voice springing into a bright and lively melody. Returning to the woodwinds, he blew an accompaniment to the phrase he had just sung. "Hearing stories and tales of a valuable chest." Several members of the audience, recognising the song, began to smile and murmur amongst themselves. "The power to rule o'er land and the sea, this marvelous treasure surely must be--" Despite the lack of any other music, his voice was rich and clear, projecting throughout the entire market and drawing even more of a crowd to him. "The Coffer of Iberos."Tongue rolling the 'r' as if he couldn't bear to let go of it, the pan flutes were immediately cast away and traded for the lute. Strumming on it, the song truly began. As the minstrel sang the verses, several children or women in the audience began to sing along, and before he knew it, someone had taken out a tambourine and began to shake it to the rhythm. The marketplace transformed into a festival. Bob simply continued to smile as he sang the catchy folk tune along with the crowd, and watched as the coins began to drop into the wicker basket. This would be a good day's earnings. Even in such dark times, music was able to brighten the most sullen of moods, no?
