Lailah spent most of her days alone. Her little usdia friends at the teepee were all off and busy with their lives now... And Vatican sleeping during the day... She was bored, and tired of the lonely feeling. She needed to find someone that she enjoyed being around. Mostly another horse only because there were only so many activities she could do alone, or was willing too.
The mare looked up at the sunlight, the air had gotten colder... The snow would fall soon. Her jeweled wings flexed out, and then folded.

Marika stepped on the grass delicately, her hoofs creating soft sounds as they clomp along on the ground. Her mane swayed gently in autumn's wind, the accessories jingling softly against each other. It hasn't been long since the mare walked on these lands, but it was different than she thought it would feel. The water was more suited towards her, but there are times in which she needed to search for food. These are one of those times.
The small little ears up top her head twitched lightly as she kept up surveillance around her, making sure she doesn't get into contact with anything harmful. If she did... well... things won't look good for them.

Lailah moved along the path, and it didn't take long for her silver eyes to fall onto the brightly colored mare in the field. She stopped and watched her for a while before she started to walk toward her.
"Good afternoon!" She smiled, noticing how she seemed awfully cautious. She kept a bit of distance, waiting to see if she would receive her well.

She has been thinking of the past, remembering swimming gently in the sea, the ocean... but it's beginning to get too cold to do such thing now, and becoming too dark. It is better not to risk her wellness just to swim in the waters once again...
Marika's head flicked towards where she heard a voice, then her eyes widen to see another mare nearby. But one with such splendid wings.. She looked like the very dark skies Marika would sleep under. But, just because she looked elegant, did not mean she was someone who could be trustworthy.
Snorting she nodded towards the mare... "Hello."

Lailah lowered her head, and she watched the mare. "It's a lovely afternoon, yes?" Lailah's voice was silky, and it didn't strain to speak to her. She had to admire the beauty of the other mare. There was something so interesting about her.
But Lailah picked up on a standoff it greeting, and figured this conversation would be short lived. But at least it was something to break up her monotone day...

As a swift and soft wind passed through, Marika sniffed in the sweet smell of the grass and smiled lightly, but then let the smile go. Remembering that she wasn't here to stay long, just stay enough to get food... that was all she allowed herself to do, after all...
She shook her head ever so lightly to forget what she was thinking about and cast a glance towards the twinkling mare. "It... is a lovely afternoon. Yes. Perhaps too lov--" She cut herself off though, and just licked her muzzle and stared up blankly at the clear sky, where some clouds were beginning to form as a soft shade.

Lailah tilted her head some, the breeze pulling at her hair some, and pulled at the jewels in her wings. The mare had stopped talking rather suddenly.
"Are you looking for anything in particular? Maybe I could help?" Lailah was from the area after all. But she wasn't feeling all that welcomed by the mare.

Mmn, no. Marika couldn't allow herself to speak in a happy tone, not... like her other. She wasn't sure if the other was aware of this side of her, but she was slightly aware of the other. That side of her was a bit too happy... too perky for her own tastes. It bothered her greatly and makes her shudder angrily.
But she took in a deep breath to keep herself calm. This mare did not harm her, and did not annoy her. And the beauty was a plus, perhaps she can find someone to get along with ... someone. She looked over at the black mare and tilted her head.
"I am looking for some berries. I haven't eaten in a while..."

Lailah watched her. She couldn't tell if there was anything wrong, but then the mare spoke. She wasn't 'happy' but she was sarcastic or anything. Her wings settled into her sides and she smiled sweetly from her distance.
"Berries? There's a large bush that way." She nodded her head off in the direction of the bush. "It shouldn't take to long for you to get there." She nodded. "Would you like me to take you there?"

Marika liked beautiful things. She finds them entertaining, and honeslty soothing. But it's not as though she didn't like things that were displeasing to the eye, she found ways to amuse herself with them... This mare who smiled sweetly to her was free from these mysterious amusing games. But will probably be stalked by Marika until she becomes bored with her. Repetitive people bored Marika so, it just stopped being fun.
Her hoof stamped at the ground as she looked towards th direction of the bush, and stared for several seconds. She wouldn't be staying there too long, and she could clearly see which one the other mare was talking about. But the day was far from over, and she needed more interaction to see if the mare would be worth staying around or not.
"Yes take me please... my eyes site isn't that good." Which was of course a lie, but an amusing one.

Lailah raised a brow. Her eye sight how ever was fine, and she sensed that the mare wasn't fulling telling the truth, for she see no issues with her eyes. But she didn't care really either way. Maybe the mare had a reason to lie. With a nod of her head, Lailah turned and started to lead her.
Her long thick black mane and tail dragged along the ground. Leading the mare through the area, and to the bush with the berries.
"So you're not really from around the area. Mind my asking where you come from?" She glanced back, before side stepping to let the mare at the bush.

Marika followed her along slowly, padding not too close so that her eyes can gaze over the mare's. She noticed the skylight patterns that apear on her fur as she walked, and the fark hair that shifted from blue to purple. How unique... It must be the lighting, Marika though.
Then her gaze shifted the majestic wings that were folded be hind the mare, it looked similar to her body but a little more color was added to the feathers in the light. She can see slight teal and a pinker purple. There was curiosity behind all of it wondering if oil is causing this, or it's natural. "I come from the sea, I live near it. I.. like the water more than the grass..." She murmured softly when she stopped by the bush and looks down at the berries. Very different from the ones that grow near the ocean.
"She took a few bites before looking back at the mare. "I am full now, what else is there to do around this place? And where did you get the loveloy ribbons that flow along your wings..?" A slight glint passed her eyes as they trail along the accessories.

"I've only seen the ocean once and that was when I came to this land. " She tried to remember the water... The vast expanses of the water. It was quite a sight. "I don't blame you... The ocean is your home." She smiled over at her. Lailah loved the land, because that's where she was raised and lived. Most wind soquili love the air, but she only recently learned to fly...
"The ribbon?" Lailah stretched out her wing, looking over at them with her silver eyes. "Two leggers... The one that I stayed with gave them to me. Her kindness of those days has caused me to keep them."
"The veil that you wear, did that come from a two legger, or a gift from the ocean?"

"Yes my home..." Her eyes glaze ver softly as she remembers the vast water and a small smile appears on her face before it disappears and she stares with a cold expression. "My mother as well. You could say it raised me, like a parent should have."
Her eyes glance back at those accessories and stares for a bit. "Two leggers hm...? I must find one of them to craft me such a delicate looking item. They look interesting... but no. my gifts, they all come from my mother. She has given me everything, these pearls.. these items on my legs. I keep them on for her sake as well as my own. "

Lailah tilted her head some. The way this mare talked was rather interesting, as if she were far away. Rather then right here with her. And the way she talked about her items were as if it were more of an obligation. Lailah tossed her tail slightly, and looked off to the distance. It wasn't really any of her business to poke at the mare...
But then their destination came into sight. The berries that hte mare had been looking for where resting on the bush that Lailah had talked about. The entire area was covered in them. "Here you go... The berries you were looking for."
