The only benifit for the fall weather was that the sun was shining less, but dear it was cold. A solemn figure was walking slowly down the street, her umbrella clutched in her dainty hands as she moved. Small steps, her dress didn't allow for large ones, and even if it did it wasn't like her to move about in such a way.

Her long straight black hair seemed to be groomed to perfection, not a strand out of place, and given her appearance she seemed a bit snooty. That wasn't the case, she was just anemic and thus she didn't say a lot to anyone.

This was her first venture outside by herself, without her brother or mother or father. Even her aunt. But even this short venture she found herself tiring..and luckily there was a bakery. She looked to the title of it, saying nothing about the irony of the name and her going into it as she simply entered the building and folded her umbrella up with a bit of difficulty.

There was the ding of the bell and she waited patiently for someone to greet her.

Bug was in the back sorting big heavy bag after the next. If she hadn't see how much pastries they made that went out daily she'd never believe they'd needed all that flour.

The bell from the front door rang and Mrs. Opthof was too busy mixing things for the next batch of what ever she was making.

"I'll get it." she said wiping the sweat off her brow and scurrying to the front. She was bit taken back by the looming figure but no mater. Bug put on her smile and greeted the girl.

"Welcome to The Sunshine Bakery, how may I help you?"

Opehlia's long eyelashes looked to the girl who had come to great her. She didn't say much at first, offering a small quiet small of hers, it wasn't that she was oppose to making friends, she was just a quiet girl.

"Yes..please I would like a table for one. Near a window if possible." She stated quietly, her umbrella clutched in her hand as her violet gaze observed Bug.

Her own wings were spider webbed in appearance and hardly stood out, and two feet around her all the color seemed to be drained to various grays, blacks and white around her. It was like she was stuck in a black and white film or a gray cloud was persistantly handing over her head.

The yellow teen blinked a bit, there wasn't a wait to be seated sign so she could sit anywhere she wanted at any time. Bug shrugged it off,

"Umm, sure, you can sit any where you like, would you like me to bring you a drink of something?"

Bug caught the stare of the girl before her, what was she loo... oh her wings, she usually forgot about the fact that most people didn't have them. But wait, Bug took her gaze to behind the dark girl, she had wings too, not like hers but still.

Ophelia obviously had expected to be shown to her seat, she lingered until it was apparent she was to seat herself.
"Yes, tea would be nice. Do you have black tea?" She inquired as she slowly moved over towards the table closest to her and a window. She moved slowly, daintily almost like the walking dead, her pallid skin almost gave that effect.

She didn't comment on Bug's wings, though she would of liked to have a dicussion with her. She stood by the table as if waiting for someone to move the chair out for her to sit down in. It was purely out of habit, her brother Evander always pulled the chair out for her.

"Do you work here?" She inquired quietly.

"The closest we have to black tea is Earl Grey, is that okay or would you prefer something else?" she asked. Bug tilted her head as she watched the girl. She looked so awkward just hovering around her chair. Was she waiting for someone? She didn't look like the type to be meeting up with friends.

"Oh, um, yup, I've been working here for a while.

It took her a minute to realize no one was going to get her chair and so awkwardly she did it herself. Given she had hardly any extra strength to lend she was very tired when done and sat down heavily despite her efforts to sit lady like.

"Earl Grey is fine. No sugar or cream thank you." She politely asked with a slight gasp to her voice. Wow you'd think she was suffering from some horrible detrimental disease or something.

"Would you mind sitting with me? I find sitting drinking tea alone awfully lonesome." The black haired girl requested though she seemed the type to not mind being alone at all.

Jeez that girl looked so... uncomfortable. Bug did not wish to be in her shoes, get tired over just sitting down, she must have been more fragile than Tyyne!

Bug poured some boiling water into two cups and brought the tea over. "I don't mind." The shop was fairly lacked and she could use a break anyways. First placing the cups on to the table Bug then pulled out a chair and sat in it without any hassle. Fidgeting a bit she looked up at the gloomy looking girl and felt a bit bad for her having such ease.

The girl with her dark hair watched Bug, she was every pat her opposite as could be. Light hair, feathered wings. Bug reminded her of a canary and she was a butterfly...would she get eaten? A small smile crossed her face at the thought. Hardly.

She took her cup in hand, looked as the tea rippeled across the surface and then gently carefully lifted it to hear lips. She took a small sip of the hot liquid but didn't seem to mind its temperature.

"So you work here long?" She asked making pleasent conversation.

Bug had to blow on her tea a bit to cool it down, no way was she gonna drink it hot like the girl before her.

"Yup, since I was a kid. My name's Bug by the way. What's yours?" It just seemed like that should be the first question if you're gonna be sitting with them chatting.

"You seem awfully pale, are you sick?" Weak, pale, slow moving, sick was the only thing Bug could think she was and was sort of worried now that she had seen her moving about, the poor girl.

Ophelia watched her like she was a spider instead of a butterfly, but she only smiled sweetly,
"Ophelia," She responded as she moved her black hair behind her shoulder so it wouldn't get into her tea. She wasn't entirely surprised by the next question, it wasn't that she was asked it a lot...she just did appear to be rather sickly.

"Oh..don't worry, I just don't go outside much in the sunlight...it hurts my skin.." she explained, by the way she said it you would think she was a vampire...

"And I am just a bit anemic, usually my brother does a lot of things for me." She continued taking another sip of her tea. IT was nothing like how Evander did it, but then again she had him on a peddle stool of sorts.

Ophelia Bug rolled the name around in her head so it'd stick. Her eyes widened, she didn't go outside much? Something like that baffled Bug, since she lived more outside than in it was just... strange to even think about not going out.

"Hurts your skin how?" She had so know, the sunlight always felt so warm and comforting it never hurt her. Anemic was something else she'd never heard of, but when she said her brother did things for her, the awkward hovering suddenly made sense.

Ophelia seemed like a delicate flower..or perhaps butterfly made sense. Since a butterflies wings were fragile and it appeared like Ophelia could break just by being handled the wrong way.

"The sun..it hurts my skin..you see I burn easily.." The pallid girl replied as she continued to drink her rather scalding drink. She gave a small gesture to where her umbrella lay against her chair, though perhaps the strangest thing about the girl was the fact in a 2 foot radius around her was devoid of color...like she was stuck in a black and white film.

"Brother has been taking me out...we saw a beautiful graveyard the other night.." She continued as she sipped her tea.

Burn easily? She meant like a sun burn, right?

"Oh I used to get sun burned all the time, you just got to tough it out for a bit. Then you'll be good as rain and it won't bother you so much anymore." Hadn't anyone told her that, guess not. Bug wasn't really able to coo and be too gentle around people, at least not kids, they're suppose to be young and full of energy. She had been, and if you weren't sick than you can just suck it up.

The girl's greyness had effected her, it was actually quite a nice relief. Bug was usually overwhelmed with colours so a little black and white was nice for a change.

"Oh and graveyard you say? Have you met Harry and Cheryl? they lived at a graveyard maybe she went to that one.

Ophelia only smiled at the comment, she wouldn't push the conversation about her sensitive skin. After all if she found the sun hurt her and her eyes she just wouldn't go out in it.

"I'll keep that in mind.." She murmured as she rubbed her thumb along the rim of her tea cup. Her smile became more genuine when Harry and Cheryl were mentioned.

"The little darlings? Yes. They were so delightfully ghoulish." She chuckled slightly, "My brother and I went in the evening, he wanted to show me the headstones. Unfortunately there were no undead roaming about. A shame."
