Evari had been doing just fine lately. She'd gotten better. By some miracle she was still friends with Tori, she helped a little girl stop being so hard on herself because of the views of others, she took Tyyne trick or treating, and met that curious little graveyard girl with the glowing eyes. It hadn't been too bad...in fact she couldn't even remember why she'd been so depressed! She sat on a bench today with her guitar on her lap, humming quietly to herself as she plucked at the strings to what she was singing. It wasn't so hard! She was getting the hang of it. Pretty soon she wouldn't even need the book sitting open beside her! The song she was humming was in fact on the page, but it was a song she knew so she could just hum the notes and hope she got them right.

It was a good day! She wasn't even thinking about anything! Not planning her next 'sleep over', not Tori, not Kay, not even her precious Faris! It was just her, her music book, and her guitar.

Eugh, wrong note. Evari frowned and started over, not satisfied with just correcting herself; if Evari got a note wrong she preferred to just start over and redo it...the more practice the better? She was almost to the note when she heard a voice calling out her name, a very happy one! Wait...who was that? She blinked and looked up as she plucked at another string, spotting Roxy right away. Oh! It was Roxy...

...Oh...it was Roxy. That thieving little b***h who could just go die in a fire for all she cared. That selfish b***h who was keeping Kay all to herself; she hadn't seen him since they'd last met...and he'd explained to her as long as he told her if he did anything he could still do it. Ah, yes. She remembered now. She'd been trying to block it all out, she never wanted to see Roxy again. She didn't even want to hear her name spoken by anyone. But no, here she was. Right in front of her. Was she why she hadn't seen Kay or even heard from him? He wouldn't answer his phone, she had no idea where he lived so she couldn't just go to his house and find him, and she could never find Switch at the shop to ask her either; though frankly she was avoiding the shop as much as she could, and now she remembered why. Was Roxy why she hadn't seen Kay? Had he told her they had sex and then she forbade him from ever seeing Evari again? ******** her.

Evari unconsciously pulled the string so hard she nearly broke it, letting up when she felt the strong pressure on her finger. Her glow brightened a little, but not out of happiness. "Hey." She said simply, keeping her hands on her guitar and not moving from her spot on her bench. She looked...pleasant. Not as excited as Roxy did, but her anger was subtle.

For now.

"Thanks...oh?" Evari raised a brow when Roxy told her she sucked at piano. Good, she was glad. Very...very glad. She understood what the girl was trying to do with this conversation. It was obvious Evari wasn't...herself at the moment, and Roxy was trying to change that. But why was she being so nice? Was she here to gloat? To taunt Evari? To rub it in she was stealing Evari's friend? Kay had said...he'd promised they'd still be friends and Roxy changed nothing...so then why couldn't she get a hold of him? Clearly it was Roxy's fault. Everything was Roxy's fault. Global warming? Totally her fault.

...Okay not really but you got the jist of it.

A band would be fun, she supposed. But Evari wasn't ready for that, she'd only been practicing for a few days. But she loved this guitar, she was going to keep practicing for however long it took! She looked down at the guitar and shrugged, playing a few more notes to keep her fingers busy. She had to be nice...if she was nice to Roxy, then Roxy would let her see Kay again. ********, she didn't want to be nice. She wanted to yell and scream at her, call her all the nasty things she was. Tell her to get the hell away from Kay because she didn't deserve him. He was hers first...

"I don't know anyone who plays bass or drums. The only other people I know who play instruments are Tori on violin and..you on piano, apparently." Evari made a slight face at the mention of Victoria and her violin. Ehhh...she'd heard of electric violins in rock bands, and she'd even heard the music they played and it was pretty awesome, but she couldn't see Tori ever doing that. "She's...too classical though. It wouldn't work." She gave a shrug at Roxy's questions. "If it's all you can sing. I can sing too, you know..." And she could sing more than just Lady Gaga music. Though she did really enjoy the music...it'd been Roxy who introduced her to it in the first place, and most of the music she really loved. That chick was crazy and didn't take anyone's s**t, Evari adored it.

Evari gave a nod about the piano again. "If it's something you like you should practice at it. Pianos are nice, maybe after I get the hang of this I'll give piano a try too." She was actually being honest, she did like pianos! But Evari wanted a guitar first, it looked the most...her. Oh? Roxy had bet Tori, huh? Was she going to take her away too? Thieving b***h.

When she mentioned Kay Evari plucked a set of strings a little too hard and the note came out sour and sent goosebumps up Evari's arms just at the sound of it, her hand shaking as she closed her eyes for a moment and pressed her lips together, breathing in slowly and deeply. Calm down, calm down. Be nice. Be civil. She let the breath out through her mouth in time to chuckle at hunting down Mrrh, adjusting her position a little so she was more comfortable. But let's face it, there was no way she could get comfortable right now. "That wouldn't be a good idea. Mrrh and I...don't get along. Quite the opposite, in fact. I have a feeling if we were in the same room together I'd just want to deck him." That b*****d made her cry, he deserved to be hit. Repeatedly. She just couldn't stand him.

"He made me cry.." Evari admitted quietly, frowning again. That was really all that needed to be said. He made her cry, why should she like a guy who pissed her off and insulted her the way he had? When asked what was wrong she glanced up at Roxy through her hair, a brow raised. Everything okay? No, everything was not okay. Everything was okay until she showed up. Everything was okay until she took Kay from her. Everything would be okay again if she'd just go away.

She was actually about to answer when she went on about doing something with Kay. Kay this, Kay that. Roxy this, Roxy that. She couldn't escape it with either of them! Ugh! She...ARGH! Evari sighed and lifted a hand to ruffle her own hair a bit, dragging that hand down the side of her face with a groan. "No, Roxy. I don't think that would be fun right now. The last thing I want to do is steal something you and Kay did together." She grumbled, emphasizing the words she did on purpose. She turned back to her guitar for a moment. This guitar was the only thing keeping her from slapping that girl right now. Selfish thieving b***h. "If you're just going to keep rubbing it in then go away." Evari said sadly. Her heart hurt, her stomach was twisted up in knots, and she could barely play any notes properly her hands were shaking so much. Ugh...just...go away, Roxy!

Evari refused to look at her. She knew if she did she'd blow up, like she had with Tori. She just couldn't do it. For her own sake and for Roxy's she was just going to keep her focus on her guitar, as long as she didn't break anything it'd be a victory for herself. "Go steal someone else's friend." She grumbled, just ignoring her music book now to try and come up with something on her own. It didn't sound too good, but that was mostly because of her quickly declining mood.

"I know about you and Kay. Fine. Go. I just love hearing my friends are being taken from me. And I love it even more when they stop calling, when I can't call them, or when no one can tell me where the ******** they are." Evari was doing really, really well considering how badly she could be handling this...but...ugh. She was becoming enraged just hearing that sweet voice.

"Yes it does." She snapped, finally looking up to glare at the younger girl. What the hell did he see in her?! It...ugh! It wasn't...! Roxy ******** she was such a little...! She wanted to tear her own hair out she was so frustrated right now. Evari's foot bounced with agitation, looking down at her guitar. She was scared she'd get mad and break it if it fell off her lap...oh, but she had the strap so it should be safe...either way...she was worried for its safety. "Do you know how often I see him? I don't see him very often at all despite my efforts to find him and hang out with him. And now I know why. It was quite exciting to see him and spend time with him only for him to tell me he has a girlfriend! The one thing I asked if I'd be if we started sleeping together and he said he didn't want!" Evari growled that last part. He ******** to her. That...ugh! But it was Roxy who...argh! Even before this she kept hearing of them together! Roxy this, Roxy that. Kay's not here right now he's out with Roxy, sorry. Now she had two friends...well...one and a half, she was kind of on rocky ground with Tori. Despite the fact that Tori seemed to have forgiven her she just felt so awkward.

She was a little thrown off by Roxy also saying she hadn't seen him, blinking a bit. She hadn't seen him either? His own...but...then where was he? Why wouldn't he answer her calls? Was Roxy not why Evari couldn't find him? "Oh, yes. He disappears on you." She snapped. She'd tried so hard. She'd tried so hard to be nice...or at least civil. Though to be honest she'd had time to calm down and stew over it, so this was actually rather tame for what she wanted to do before.

Before she wouldn't have given a s**t what anyone would think if she punched Roxy in the face. Now she didn't want to if only because she knew everyone would get angry at her.

Evari laughed, she laughed loudly and obnoxiously. For choosing her over Roxy? That wasn't it, that wasn't it at all. She didn't care Roxy was crying, she'd cried because of her..it was her turn. But Evari herself was on the verge of tears. She'd liked Roxy, but Roxy betrayed her. "I'm mad at you for taking away my goddamn friend! For making it even harder for me to see him than it already was! Though what if I had wanted to be his girlfriend, hm? And he'd told me no? Well, s**t! I'll let him do what he wants then if he doesn't want a girlfriend! I won't stop him from doing what he wants."

Oh, so it was selfish of her to request he not sleep around while he dated? Well whoop de doo! Why not just leave it the ******** alone and not request he date her at all?! This little girl was pissing her off now, but Evari stayed sitting where she was. She had to stay relatively calm, if she upset Roxy too much it would get back to Kay...a..and then Kay would...Kay would hate her. A few tears escaped her at that thought, the fear of losing him to her completely stabbing at her heart and making her sick to her stomach. No...she couldn't! He was hers. He was hers first, damnit. It was easier for Evari to make Roxy the bad guy in this, she couldn't hate Kay. She just couldn't. She couldn't stay mad at him, and she couldn't hate him. She just...she loved him so much. He was one of her best friends.

"It is selfish of you. Selfish of you to make him do this monogamy bullshit, when he doesn't want it." It'd been obvious he wasn't comfortable with the idea...and...and maybe if Evari got the thought deep enough into Roxy's head she'd end it? But would he hate her if she did this? She bit her lip and tried not to cry more than she already was. She was so sick of crying. It seemed to be all she did lately. "I didn't even get a chance.." She grumbled, just randomly picking at her guitar's strings now. She didn't get a chance? At what?
