Gizmoid But what if we like getting flowers, valentines, and candy? o: Exactly my point. Getting. You're not as concerned with giving. Valentines day promotes greed. Of all the people I've spoken to, almost all of the girls disagreed with my cause. Why? Because they're usually the ones getting the gifts! If you love or care about someone then you don't need a day to show them. You should be showing them all year.

I don't have anyone to love me this Valentines.
So I'm going to a friend's friend's house, and will probably have drunken sex.
w00t!
Personally, I have a typical routine for Valentines day- I give my friends valentines. biggrin D And I will continue doing it this year! This weekend I'll buy my candy and make the cards. biggrin D

I supose I will join you. It's not as much as the getting comercailized part bothers me it's more it makes everyone that day feel they have to have a realtionship with someone. So it's pointless to me and hrtful to others so yeah I'll join you and besides if it is banned couples shouldnt mind it should be Valetines Day to them everyday.

I like the holiday. I wanted to get my girl a 180 dollar ring, but she said no. She said there was a 90 dollar limit. I'm not happy. Well, I love her, but I want to lavish her in gold and cubic zirconia.
So Kirk.....that's one girl who doesn't like to recieve. I love to give.^^

Valentines isn't so bad. Granted, I dont make valentines (But Skip threated to kidnap me and NOT bring chocolate milk so she guilted me into it mad ) but it doesnt bug me.
Without a day where every man on earth is OBLIGED to make a fuss over a soul sucking wench who will be licking another guys teeth in a month, how the hell else would I get rid of all my extra firecrackers?
Sides, its the one time of year I hang around the eating disorder girls. Free candy, Whooyeah!
Okay, thats never happened, but it will someday.
A dude did buy me a carnation though. whee
