The furthermost corner of the fairgrounds butt up against a corn field, the sort of thing you least expected to be found here in Destiny City, but nonetheless it exists. Apparently, the City Council had been planning an event of this nature for quite some time, as the 'haunted corn maze' had been touted as one of the main events of the carnival. It was designed to go hand-in-hand with the scarier third floor of the Library downtown, only an outdoors activity removed from the lights and noises of the main concourse.
Leaning up against the only, reinforced entrance (and exit) was an incredibly bright painted sign: Corn Maze of Terror -- Kernels of Revenge 2! it stated boldly. Audrey Collins had muscled it into place earlier that week as part of her assignment she'd received from the Administration Office. The bluenette had thought she'd be working the game booths, possibly be blessed enough to be put in close proximity to confectionery treats. Instead, they'd given her the corn maze. She was to dress up, stand out front, and send people in at three minute intervals. The light went on in the center, she sent one of the burly volunteers dressed up like suburban serial killers into the center of the maze to give everyone a heart-attack before giving them their prize card back at the entrance.
In her opinion, it was more than a little lame, but what could you do? The Bonnie costume was exchanged for a pair of pigtails, a cowboy hat, matching boots, and what looked to be skinny-legged overalls. Obviously, she'd raided her cousin's wardrobe, and was currently climbing up onto a chair.
"Nine PM! Come and get your fliers, give your name, take a number so that you can get in the maze tonight! Come see our main horror event, the Corn Maze of Terror -- Kernels of Revenge 2!" Audrey obviously hated her job, but nonetheless waited patiently for people to take the bait.
Painted on a board next to the lurid advertisement were the maze's rules, posted clearly and as soon as possible to avoid lawsuits and misunderstandings, along with how the maze works.
How It Works --
- Each person will be sent in, one at a time, at three-minute intervals. This means that you will all be pretending that there's not really anyone with you, though there will be about 20 people in the maze. Har. - There will be a five minute time limit from the choice post to the post announcing who has gotten to the next 'obstacle'. If you do not post a choice, you are automatically eliminated. Please pay attention to the time! - Choices must be posted in bold at the top of your post. You can do whatever flavor text you'd like, as long as it fits within the time limit and the choice is bolded at the top. - Choose carefully! Some rounds will not result in immediate elimination, and may come to affect what happens in the future! - The game ends when only one person is left. After that last person, I will post what is at the center of the maze to close things up! Everyone else, you can assume that you are now lost and have had to been cleared out of the maze by carnival staff.
Rules of the Maze --
1) No whining. Choices to the adventure are pre-set and do not change. 2) No backtracking! Don't edit your post, I will be writing down answers next to names as I see them. You will be caught, and removed from any future prize-winning in this event. 3) Once you are out, you are out! You can, however, post one extra time after you are eliminated to react to getting 'lost'. However, please do not keep playing along for fun in the thread, it will end up very confusing for me.

Feel free to RP hanging out in line/around the outside of the maze, but please when I tell you to shut up, shut up!
Some Things To Know:
- There is a very long line. - This is not a big deal, because you have a number, like a good citizen.

“Guys? Guys? Guyyyyyyyys!” Being the shortest member of a senshi team of four was really, really sucking right about now. Didn't the Pleiades arrange to meet up here to complete the theme of their outfit? Carter tried in vain to stand on his tip-toes, giving up before jumping up in order to see over the line in front of him. Man! He had no idea where Alba, Damian, or Simon was – and they were usually pretty easy to spot.
He sighed, settling down enough to rock back and forth on his heels in place. Oh well, at least he had a ticket to the corn maze here. He might as well do something while waiting for them to show up, right?

It was a bad idea, really, for someone as easily startled as Xavier, who was still dressed in his Sho costume, to even think about going into this maze - he's given the haunted house a very wide berth for that very reason.
But then, it had actually hit him just how god damn silly he was being. He was a senshi - he'd fought giant bone spiders, not-bone spiders that dripped ******** acid, noodle monsters, and giant self-replicating moths. All very real and very dangerous creatures that could and would have killed him if he had given them the chances.
And he was terrified by the thought of a maze in an halloween carnival. No. No more. This silliness was ending tonight. Really, if Themis could face very real youma, why couldn't Xavier take a few scares like a man ?
He glanced down at his ticket, hoping his determination wouldn't falter before his turn came up. Nothing you will see will be truly real, or will truly kill you. He reminded himself. Unless it feels like youma.
He had his pen on him, just in case.

A maze ? it looked interesting. Ariel started to go in the line, she wanted to try this. She was alone right now, but maybe if she got lost with other people she may made some friends. “I would like to participate” she said to the person in charge. And then lined up.

Sorring had little to do since getting back to destiny city, most of his free time was spent hanging out with Elzo though he still had yet to be introduced to the 'mystery girl' he hadn't even bothered to tell him what she looked like. Probably for the better since it was the same girl telling them to get in line.

Istas had found the corn maze. She decided she REALLY wanted to try it. She was tugging her mother around with her as she headed towards the maze.
"Are you sure sweetie? It could be scary." She said softly with a frown. She knew how Istas was with the monsters and scary stuff.
"I'll be fine mom!" She said with a smile and a nod.

The line was ridiculous beyond crazy. Audrey'd given out most of her numbers within an hour or two, and apparently everyone wanted to get into the maze. Unfortunately, it didn't look like it was going to happen that way. They could maybe get fifty people in before someone got to the center, though they could possibly put in lesser prizes and try again? That wasn't her job, thank God.
No, her job was to sit there, look country, and make sure nobody started stampeding like an idiot. It was one of those times when being skinny and under five and a half feet tall was less than an asset.
"Alright everybody, listen up! I will call numbers at some point, and if you can't show me the legit number, I'm not letting you in! My burly zombie friends here will totally back me up, just a warning!" She wasn't about to put it past any of the line group to have forged numbers. Thankfully, she'd marked them all in a special way...with glitter.
Wasn't that useful?

Lucky for Carter, Simon was easy to spot, it just so happened that he'd been looking in all the wrong directions for him. It also didn't help much that his taller teammate's contribution to their costume theme made it all the more difficult: they were at a corn maze. He was dressed as a scarecrow. It was easy to overlook him as someone on staff.
"Carter?" he called back, squinting into the throngs of people to try and locate where his voice was coming from. "I'm over here, have you seen the others yet?"

A zombie? Ariel tried to see what was happening in the front. But anyways she put the ticket in her pocket to be sure she will not lose it. She actually spoted Xavier in the line, but she was not sure he would remember her so she didn’t say anything.

This was something she had looked forward to since first spotting the sign a few days back. A maze! Not just any maze, a amazing CORN maze! She had never experienced once of these so the idea she would have a chance to was thrilling. You normally, in a city, did not see things like this.... it must have taken weeks of careful preparation to get the maze right. Not to mention someone had to be REALLY patient to align everything up right...
Beth had been hanging around the festival for some time now, in her hand was a little piece of paper that she had grabbed from the mazes booth earlier. See, apparently only 50 or so people could be inside the maze before they were at max capacity... and someone won. The maze was not only for fun, but it was a contest! The thought of something special in the middle put a spark in her bright green eyes.
The one thing she had not expected was the INSANELY long line. Seemed she was not the only one whom thought this would be fun, it felt like half the city was here! Their were far more than 50 people here... had they decided to give out more tickets afterall? She caught sight of one of the tickets and saw it didn't have glitter on it, was her ticket different than theirs? Beth fidgeted in her costume while waiting. Her costume consisted of a short skirt, leg warmers.. and colors everywhere. She hoped people knew who she was, rainbow bright was a really old cartoon but it seemed to be making a comeback in the past few years... along with my little pony and such. Beth held her ticket with pride, glad she had come to the event early... Even if her ticket was different.

Eve hated waiting in lines. She wasn't a very patient person, and started debating on whether she should leave, tapping a foot as she stared at the queue. But, she reflected, she was supposed to show support for Audrey! "Beth!" She called out when she spotted a familiar face in the line, grinning as she waved to the red-haired girl. Alright, maybe this wouldn't so bad after all!

The night of the maze has approached and...Great Grilled Cheezus look at that line! It’s okay though, you totally went to that weird blue-haired girl’s table earlier today and took a number. It’s like, twelve or something. Not bad, but not great either. You are dying to know what the prize is at the center of the maze, aren’t you? They’ve been touting it as the best, biggest, coolest prize at the whole carnival and all you have to do is solve an easy maze to do it!
Rock on.
A -- Go into the maze. B -- Go home.

A -- Go into the maze.
As much sleep as Simon figured he might lose from this later on... there was no way that time he spent in that line was going to end up wasted. He headed in.
