In this side of the carnival lies a booth with a rather impressive collection of what look like paper streamers hung all over the wall. Upon closer inspection you realise they are not paper streamers but actually, goldfish tanks. Wait what do they hold thought?
A sign reads above you: Sign Goldfish scooping rules as follows: - These are exotic goldfish, please do not harrass, attempt to eat, or mistreat them in any manner. - Do onto the fish as they would do to you - No eating them, seriously. - Oh yeah, don't forget to choose a tank if you scoop up one. - You are allowed three tries You look down below you, at the rather impressive five foot span of murkey grey water. It is a little too dark to determine exactly what lies underneath, but the sign to your left has already guaranteed that these fish are harmless other than being 'exotic'. That should mean something right?
You will probably also need the traditional goldfish scooping paper net to get started, thankfully those have been provided as well to all participants, three upon request.

((OOC RULES:
- This is a very simple game. Simply post your character coming in to participate, one set of tries per character. - After the initial post, roll a 100-sided dice. Roleplay them scooping into the murkey waters with their paper scooper. - Roll two more times again with a 100-sided dice. The stall patrons are generous and have allowed you three tries. - Compare your roles with the results below. ICly announce which tank you would like to take your prize(s) home with, if you wont anything. - It shouldn't take too long for your 'exotic goldfish' to get tagged, and they will be dropped off in this thread! - Feel free to treat the 'won gift' as a decoration of sorts to put in your journal, you sig, whatever. You won it, after all! ))

Gabbie wandered the carnival, eyes taking everything in. From what she could see, there was a lot of stuff to try. Somehow, though, she found herself shying away from everything. Residual effects of the dream coma, she told herself. Since waking up, she'd kept pretty much to herself, except to spend time with a tiny group of close friends. Giving her head an irritable shake, she saw the fishscoop booth and headed for it. The possibility of winning a little pet appealed to her. Smiling at the booth attendant, she looked the game over and nodded. Okay, this one she'd try.

Paper scoop in hand, Gabbie leaned over the water, trying to decide the best place to aim for. After a few moments of trying to make anything out in the murky water, she sighed and simply jabbed the scoop into the water, swishing it from side to side.

Blinking as she pulled out a rather pretty rainbow fish, Gabbie felt herself grinning. Lucky first try! Smiling, she handed the fish over to the attendant.
"Umm... Bat tank, please."
Then, turning back to the water, she got ready to try again. Maybe the fish would like a friend? Then again, she thought, recalling the fish's rather prominant teeth, maybe friends weren't really its thing. But she'd try anyway.

Feeling the scoop get shaken and tugged, Gabbie finally managed to pull it back out of the water. Only to see that it had been attacked and (she assumed) eaten. Raising an eyebrow, she made a mental note that if her third try landed her another fish, to find out exactly what kind of food she was supposed to be feeding her fishy friend(s).
"Well," she murmured as she took another scoop and carefully lowered it into the water, "third times the charm."

Feeling her scoop shake and jerk yet again, Gabbie was not that surprised when she pulled the paddle away to see that it too had been eaten. Laughing softly, she thanked the attendant. At least she'd gotten one fish. And it was cute. Maybe she'd name it somethign ridiculous once she got it home.

"Well this is...different." Ume said blinking down into the murky waters. She had to admit she was more than a little partial to the tanks though, and wondered what kind of fish suited them.
There was really only one way to find out... "One please." She said with a soft smile.
Three tries they were given apparently, that might mean she could even catch something with the evil little paper scoop. "Oh um... bat tank if I can catch something, thank you so much"

Last try... she swept the net after the fish determined to catch one rather than let it snap the stick in half or barrel through the paper ring with what appeared to be intent to kill. *edited for last sweep*
"Ah! -Finally- She said somehow sneaking up behind one and scooping out a...
Toothy, rainbow....piranha? Well, that sort of explained chewing through the net.

-Exotic. It was the word that had drawn Aitana away from the ring toss she'd been staring at over to the booth filled with murky water and hanging tanks.
Staring down at the dark water she watched a few ripples but did not see the actually fish below. Were they actually special fish, or was it just something to flavor the spookiness of the halloween theme? Curiousity got the best of her.
Hopefully if she won her foster family wouldn't mind her bringing them home. But then, how often did those carnival fish last for more then a month or so?-
