“Mother must I be here? It smells and there’s dirty-,”

“Regina, enough. It’s either be here or starve and I don’t plan on going hungry anytime soon,” Ary snapped at the girl, violently shoving a bag of bread into the cart. By the gods, the girl really pissed her off some days with all her talk of royalty and peasants. The royalty system on her home realm was way simpler and better to the point where no one WANTED to be of royalty. First, you had to fight the previous king or queen for power by the means of three tests. One of strength, one of courage, and one of intelligence that was often broken down into three others based on what you were ruling over. But this girl seemed to think it was all based on blood. Peh. At least she had the cunning and upbringing of one.

“Very well Mother,” Regina replied coldly, irritated that no one else seemed to be able to understand her need for the best and to be with only those of royalty or were rich enough to be of royal blood. Peasants were so nasty and dirty, it was incredible they hadn’t all died out from disease or something. If Ary hadn’t been resistant to anything ice related and capable of feats she never thought possible, the snow queen was sure she would have run away by now. Ugh. The Azoulai’s definitely wanted her to suffer, didn’t they?

"And we'll need a new box of Cheerios, of course, and a new thing of bagels, um.... cinnamon raisin works for me, does it work for you Xi- ...Ximena?"

Sarah looked around in utter confusion as her little snowbee had disappeared from under her watchful eye. She immediately went into frantic parent mode, looking down every aisle and calling out her adopted son's name incessantly. "Xi! Xi, Xi, sweetness, where'd you go? Xi!! Xi! X-" Spotting the telltale blue of her son's coat, she quickly stopped and backpedaled, a relieved smile on her face. However, this was quickly replaced with confusion as she walked down the aisle, smiling uncertainly at the white-haired woman and the short, regal-looking girl next to her. "...Xi, sweetie, what are you doing?"

For the introverted little snowbee had completely prostrated himself in front of the girl, in a perfect imitation of a knight's bow. His eyes were on the ground, and his wings were folded behind his back, one hand on his heart as he spoke in unusually concise and well-formed speech. "X'mena Cowriandew Jacobs'n, at youw service, m'lady." The boy rose his head gently then, a servile and expectant smile on his face as his golden eyes glowed. "How can I be of sewvice t' you, my Queen?"

[NOTE FOR SKIT: Remember (or maybe learn) that Reggie should tell Ximena to go by his middle name. Because we like it better. >3>]

((Of course I remember~))

Regina paused in her mental tirade to look down upon the snow bee that had appeared in front of her from out of nowhere. Nose held high, she listened to him and offered the boy a slight smile. "Coriander... My first order is to make that your name," she replied, ignoring the dark look that Ary gave her.

"Regina, I'm going to count to three and you had better take back that order," Ary replied coldly, straightening up to her full height of almost seven feet tall. She towered nicely over the little snow queen and everyone in the aisle. Her gaze then turned to Ximena's guardian. "I'm sorry about her, by the way," she added, crystal blue eyes flashing dangerously at her daughter.

"Yes m'lady!" Coriander declared, springing up and saluting dutifully. Despite the frigid nature of the woman before him, the snowbee was smiling wider and more blissfully than ever. This is what he was born for, what he was supposed to be doing. Turning around, he grinned and waved to his mother. "Hi Momma! M' name's Coriander now, so no mowe callin' me Xi, mmkay?" He then turned to face his queen once more, hands clasped behind his back and eyes shining as he awaited his next order.

"Ummm..." replied Sarah, not really quite sure whether she was okay with that or not. After all, she rather liked the name Ximena, thank you very much, and thought that Xi was an adorable nickname... Still, she smiled gently (if not warily) at the impossibly tall woman with white hair as she walked closer to the trio, waving her hand dismissively. "Oh, it's... It's fine, really. Trust me, this is the happiest he's been in a long time. So... Is she always so... Like that?" she ended lamely, not wanting to outwardly insult the officious young girl in front of her mother.

Unfortunately, Regina ignored Ary's command and instead gazed upon Coriander, pondering what next to order him to do. There were so many things and yet, she was sure she'd get in trouble for doing any of them. That was the problem with Mother, she didn't understand what it was like to have such a loyal servant to command. "Hm... How about-,"

"No, Regina. And yes she is, unfortunately," Ary replied, noticing how neither she nor her daughter seemed at all offended by the descriptive. Then again, she doubted Regina would care anyways, being too absorbed in figuring out what all she could do to the poor snow bee. At least there was ONE good thing about the whole situation. "I'm Ary, by the way," she added, glancing over at Sarah. Might as well be polite...
