Here's something quick for you guys to mull over:
Are there any songs that were written for a Vocaloid, but you think it sounds better sung by another Vocaloid?
For example, say that you like Len's version of Meltdown more than you like Rin's.
Aaaaand that's it, really.

Here's mine:
I actually like Kaito's version of 1925 more than I like Miku's. Admittedly, I may just be biased, but I think that the mor mechanical sound suites the song. Also, Miku doing the background vocals reminds me of a whistle, which I think sounds very cool. The original just doesn't have that (and I'm sure it was unintentional in the cover too).

With all due respect, I have one word for you: Well, I happen to like Sora Suiga's version of Meltdown better. ;D Also, I absolutely love love love Hold, Release; Rakshasa and Carcasses, but there's this one Nico chorus version that is just fantastic. Sora and Iroha's version of Love is War are > Miku's, too. (I love the original, don't get me wrong.) Die

Hey, responses! 8D
Hmmm... Yes. I think トウライ's version of Meltdown is one of my favorites, as far as Meltdown covers go. He sang Kaito's part in an Alice Human Sacrifice cover and that was pretty awesome, too.

XD So far mpst people have picked human singers as having done their favorite covers.
What if you had to pick another Vocaloid?

╔════════════════════════╗ I heavily prefer Luna Amanes version of Rolling Girl over Miku's. I also heavily prefer Mikus cover of Coward Montblanc over Gumi's. Probably only because matt9five is such an excellent vocaloid/utau user. xD ♥ ╚════════════════════════╝

The Nico Nico Chorus version of Bungaku Shounen no Yuutsu is much better than the original. Much more dramatic and moving. Watch it here.acane_madder does brilliant covers. I love her covers of Campanella and Alice.
