Seidh sat on the grassy hill side as she worked on pulling off her stocking like shoes and then placing them neatly off to the side as she then worked on pulling off her scarf and setting that on top of her shoes as well. The small girl made sure that Quint’s earring which was hanging from a small chain that her mother had given to her was still securely around her neck, which it was, so she was all good to go. She had the bagged cherrios, had taken off her shoes and scarf, and she was ready to go turtle wrastlin.
It was a game that her brother had made up when they had come to the park a while back and had caught sight of some turtles swimming in this little ditch like area. They were very careful with the turtles and even rewarded them with cheerios after they were caught. Despite it being the end of October and the cooler weather setting in, it didn’t stop Seidh from playing in the water especially since according to Fremere she needed to “practice” her turtle skills and she liked holding the turtles anyways, so it was a win win.
The small girl carefully dipped her feet into the water as she then settled, the water coming up to her knees for now.

Tyyne hummed happily to herself as she played with the zipper of a hoodie she'd...recently acquired. It was too big on her in certain places, such as the chest and the length of the arms, but she was fine with that. It smelled like Leviathan~. It kept her warm! And it was comfortable. It did not smell like anyone special. Tyyne did not keep lifting her shoulder to nuzzle her face into the hoodie and sniff at it. She totally wasn't doing that, she refused to admit she was doing that. Warmness and comfort were very important right now with the cooling seasons even if it meant most of the plants and flowers were dying; she was going to think of it as they were 'resting' so they could return in the Spring. Tyyne was looking forward to Spring, she wish it'd happen right now. Maybe she could find someone to help her figure out a way to make this thing fit better sometime.
Tyyne paused when she came across a pond, her eyes widening and her heart skipping a beat at the very sight out of fear, darnit! A-a pond? She'd never come across this pond before. Ponds were made of water. And water usually meant he was here. Tyyne found herself staring at her reflection in the water until suddenly there came a set of ripples that distorted it...wait, ripples? That meant something was moving enough to disturb the water! Her heart fluttered -- something she was going to ignore and claim as yet more fear -- and she whipped her head up to see who was in the water, ears perking a bit. Oh, it was just a little girl. Alright then.
...Wait! What was a little girl doing in the water in October?! Maybe she dropped something? Let's go with that until we learned otherwise. Tyyne blinked and made her way around the pond to the other side so she'd be closer to the girl, tilting her head and watching her curiously. "Um...hello. Is everything alright?" Wasn't the water cold?

Seidh hummed softly to herself as she waded through the chilled water, staring down intently looking for turtles. The small fish zoomed by quite often, sometimes even weaving around her ankles, but it wasn’t small fish she was looking for! The girl reached into a pocket and pulled out a few cheerios and tossed them onto the water’s surface, watching as they floated away a bit, watching with a keen eye for any turtles. She didn’t hear the gently padding of hooves as another being came closer, but what did catch her attention though was a soft, almost soothing like voice.
The small girl blinked at the question and turned her head to look behind her and saw a girl that was…part deer? Seidh blinked curiously at this as she took a moment to look the girl over, her black eyes lingering on the girl’s own dark blue eyes for a moment before she quickly snapped her head back to the cheerios. Oh, good, no turtles she missed.
She turned her attention back to the deer girl and gave her a small nod. “Yes…I am just looking for turtles.”

This girl sure did have strange eyes. They were all black! There wasn't any other color to them at all except at the corners on the outside! How interesting. She really had no room to judge even if she wanted to, she'd never met another person with the lower body of a deer, the ears of a deer and antlers of one. This girl's eyes were strange but it was neat? When she suddenly looked away Tyyne got worried maybe something had startled her or bitten her, relaxing when she seemed to be calm enough. Good, good. Everything was okay.
"Turtles? But why?" Tyyne peered down at the water, spotting the little cereal bits that were floating around near the girl's feet and legs. She'd never tried catching anything before, she supposed that must have been bait. Turtles like cereal? Cute! "Isn't the water cold?" The last time Tyyne had fallen in the water she nearly got sick! If it hadn't been for Levia--the nice warm building she'd stayed in had kept her from that! She felt great! She felt better than ever!

Seidh didn’t mind not keeping eye contact at the moment. Her eyes were still a sore issue, especially ever since she saw that cartoon movie with aliens in it. Seidh’s lips pulled down into a small frown at this until she remembered that someone had said that he had liked her eyes. At this her lips pulled into a small smile before it faded as she went back to focusing on turtles. Oh…there was one coming! The little girl slowly and carefully started to move after the cheerios as they floated away, since that was where the turtle was heading.
This sport would probably be better during the spring and summer; there would probably be more turtles out, but for now, she would enjoy it while she could before the turtles went away before the winter.
“It’s a game.” She explained softly and ever so helpfully to the deer girl, her gaze intent upon the oncoming turtle. “It is a little.” She admitted in regards to the water temperature, but Seidh didn’t mind honestly, and after being in the water for a bit, you get use to it. She paused for a moment, raising her hands before they quickly swooped into the water and out they came, with a turtle in hand. The turtle’s arms and legs wiggled before it retreated into its shell, but that didn’t bother Seidh. She held the shell before she waggled it a bit back and forth; making the shell look like it was dancing.

It wasn't that Tyyne didn't keep eye contact, in fact she did her best to do that! But it was hard when you weren't exactly sure where the eyes were looking like you would if there were irises. Tyyne blinked and watched as the girl got a bit excited about something, leaning closer as much as she could without falling over into the water to see what was up. Did she see a turtle? "Oh? How do you play? You just catch turtles?" That sounded cute! Were there rules? She gave a bit of a nod at the girl's admittance, looking down at the water. It certainly looked cold, it must not have been as cold as the ocean though...which made sense since it wasn't as much water...but still. Tyyne looked down at the water until she heard the splashing of water, her head whipping up and worrying the girl had fallen over.
Oh! She got her turtle! "Yay!" Tyyne cheered from her spot on the bank, clapping her hands and watching the girl. That was adorable! The little turtle, the dancing, the girl. So cute! Tyyne smiled, her tail giving a flick as one of her legs reached out carefully to poke a bit at the water, holding out her arms to keep herself balanced. It wasn't so bad...maybe she'd be able to get in there without falling; stairs were somewhat awkward for Tyyne, she was getting better but still. "That looks like fun!" She said to the girl in the water, giving her wet leg a bit of a shake and putting it back down on the dry ground. Maybe she'd give it a try.

“Yes.” Seidh answered, but then was good and elaborated a bit. “It’s called Turtle Wrastlin…you catch a turtle, you make it dance a little, and then you feed it some cheerios for its hard work. You can only play if you have cheerios…” She murmured.
Yes, Seidh was quite pleased that she had caught the turtle, and secretly was even more pleased to be cheered on by the deer girl. She stopped wiggling the turtle, and then just held onto it as she looked over at Tyyne, who was testing out the water. Maybe…she would like to play too? Fremere did say that this game should be shared with as many good people as possible, and she seemed good. “…I have a lot of cheerios…if you want to play too…” The little girl uttered, then gently placing the turtle back into the water and then pulling a little handful of cheerios out of her pocket and dropping them into the water.

Turtle Wrastlin'? That didn't sound too bad if all you had to do was catch a turtle and make it dance, but the problem was Tyyne didn't have Cheerios. She wasn't even sure if they had Cheerios at home! Her ears gave a flick and she frowned a little, looking genuinely disappointed. Maybe she couldn't try after all until she got those. Had she ever even seen a box of those in the house? She was pretty sure she hadn't...then again she didn't eat cereal very often. She was a strange girl sometimes?
At the girl's offer she blinked, her tail giving a happy flick as her ears perked again. Oh, really? She'd be okay with sharing? "I'd love to if you're really alright with it!" This was wonderful! She was just thinking she needed to make more girl friends and here she was making a new friend who was a girl and not a boy and definitely not her own family. Tyyne carefully stepped into the water, awkwardly wading through it while doing her best not to disturb it too much and scare everything away; it became easier to do when she was used to it. She was soon by the girl's side, her gaze on the water and already watching for turtles, looking very excited to be trying something with a new friend.
Or she was until she realized something! Tyyne gasped suddenly and whipped her head up to look at the girl beside her. "Oh goodness! I'm so sorry! My name's Tyyne, by the way!" She'd totally forgotten the first rule of meeting a new friend: Learn their darn name! Oops!

Seidh had glanced up at Tyyne when the deer girl was pondering if she had any cheerios or not and couldn’t help but blink a bit as the girl looked genuinely disappointed. The sad look was soon replaced though and it brought a small, nice feeling to the black eyed girl. Her mother was right, it was nice to share (sometimes). She gave a little nod of her head. “Yes, that is alright.” If it wasn’t alright she wouldn’t offer it.
The small girl kept her gaze on Tynne, watching as she carefully stepped into the water and awkwardly came over to her. Maybe the water was more uncomfortable for her due to the fur on her legs? Huh, maybe. Once Tyyne was next to her, Seidh reached into her pocket and pulled out a big handful of cheerios and held it out to the deer girl, simply just waiting for her to look up and take them. Seidh couldn’t help but blink once more as Tyyne gasped and whipped her head up. Was something wrong? Oh… “…I am Seidh.” She replied after learning this new person’s name. Tyyne, huh? That was interesting.

It was more the mud and soft ground that made it awkward for Tyyne to walk, her hooves got stuck in the mud a few times. She didn't want to fall in again! When the cheerios were offered to her she held out her hands to take them and then carefully piled them in one hand so she wouldn't have to dump them all out at once. It wasn't any fun if she did that! And it'd probably be a waste having far more cheerios in the water than they needed, right? And she'd eventually need at least one hand to hold a turtle in.
"Seidh? That's a pretty name! It's very nice to meet you." She picked up a few cheerios in her fingers and dropped them into the water near herself, watching the water intently. This was new! Never had Tyyne purposely gone into water like this, especially not to catch something. Normally she wouldn't even be over here! Tyyne giggled. "It's funny, I usually avoid water at all costs." Though it seemed lately she'd been going near it more and more! Could this girl not go one day without getting wet somehow excluding when she bathed? Really? It was like she went from a dragon magnet to a water magnet. She chanced a glance away from the water to watch Seidh for a moment. "Do you do this a lot?"

Seidh took having normal feet for granted apparently as it allowed her to stay above the mud more or less.
As the deer girl complimented her on her name, Seidh couldn’t help but blink a bit. It was a pretty name, really? She liked it, but to hear someone call her name pretty was new! “…I like yours too.” She murmured, “It’s…different. It is nice to meet you too.” Always use your manners, that was what her mother said. The small girl dropped some of her own cheerios into the water and stared down, waiting. She also couldn’t help but wiggle her toes a bit just to see them be slightly distorted by the water.
She glanced up at Tyyne when she commented that she tried to avoid water. But why would you do that…? Maybe she was afraid of it? Seidh liked the water, it was what her goldfish lived in, after all, amongst other reasons. At her question the small girl gave a shake of her head. “Only a few times so far…I usually play with my brother, but he says I need practice.”

Tyyne smiled, her ears giving a happy little flick when her name was complimented. "Thank you! Yours is very different as well. Did your mommy or daddy give you that name?" Xai had named her and Evari! Though Evari's name had come from a word in Xai's own language, the Ursontaean had felt her language wouldn't have anything fitting for Tyyne for her own name. It was too mechanic while Tyyne...clearly wasn't. She liked her name, and it was more special to her because Xai had put so much time in finding and picking her name. The tiny movements in the water caught her eye and she was about to try and snatch a turtle only to find it was just Seidh wiggling her toes. Oops! That...would have been awkward for everyone involved if Tyyne had suddenly grabbed Seidh's foot. Yes, let's avoid that as best as possible.
"You have a brother? That's nice! I have a big sister." Tyyne said with a little more pride than she used to. Before she dreaded talking about Evari, because the girl clearly didn't like her and she obviously didn't want Tyyne around...but things were better now. She watched for turtles again, tossing a couple more cheerios into the water. One appeared from under a half-buried piece of wood nearby and stared at a cheerio as it began to soak and sink down close to it. Tyyne's ears perked with excitement as she leaned down closer. Ohohoh! This was her chance, right? Crap..she...she only had one hand! What was she supposed to do with the rest of the cheerios she couldn't just...oh no! She'd have to throw them all if she wanted to try catching this turtle! Tyyne sighed and decided to cut her losses this time, who knew when she'd have another chance like this? She tossed the rest of the cheerios around near her, waiting quietly for the turtle to be distracted with trying to eat a cheerio.
Annnnd...ha! Tyyne suddenly reached into the water for the turtle, managing to get a slight hold on it before it slipped free from her fingers and fled. Her ears drooped. "He makes this kind of thing look so easy though..." She mumbled quietly, pouting a little and standing up straight. If crazy Leviathan who was so much larger than her could sneak up on people why couldn't she sneak up on a turtle? Siiiigh...next time! Suddenly she gasped and stared at her hoodie, realizing what she'd just done. The sleeves! They were soaked! And the front of her! O-oh no! She sniffed at one of the sleeves and frowned. It smelled like the pond now, that nice scent from him was gone. Damn. Er, n-no! Haha! Wait, what? She didn't just think that to herself! Nope! Tyyne rolled up her sleeves and smiled sheepishly at Seidh. "It's harder than I thought."

“My mother gave me that name.” Seidh replied, “I do not have a father.” And that didn’t bother her at the moment, for she was more than content and loved Akuja. While Akuja didn’t spend too much time picking out a name like Tyyne’s guardian had done, it didn’t make the name any less cool sounding. As the deer girl tensed, looking like she was ready to strike for a turtle, Seidh blinked when she suddenly stopped and looked down at the water. Oh…! It was her toes. Oops. The small girl stopped wiggling them in attempts to keep their minds ‘on focus.’
The small girl gave a nod of her head and looked up at Tyyne with curiosity when the girl mentioned she had a big sister. “How…big is your big sister?” She questioned softly, because while Fremere claimed to be ‘older’ he wasn’t really that much older than she was. He just claimed to be older because his morphed out of his item form first. The small girl wasn’t one to argue though. She turned her attention back down to the water, watching as the one turtle came out from under a wood piece and saw the small ripples of other cheerios being dropped into the water. She, of course, would let Tyyne catch this one! After all it wasn’t about who could get it first….it was just about catching them and touching them and having fun.
Seidh tensed as she watched Tyyne reach down into the water as the corners of her lips tugged upward a bit as she got ahold of it but then her mouth pulled into a dismayed expression as the wily turtle escaped. Seidh wasn’t going to let Tyyne go down like that though, as the little girl leaned forward and plunged her hands into the water and grasped the turtle with both hands, then lifting it up. The turtle’s legs and arms kicked like it was still swimming, and Seidh seemed a bit triumphant as she held the turtle out to the deer girl to hold. “It just takes practice, that’s all.” She uttered encouragingly.

"Oh, you don't? Neither do I!" She usually just asked if someone had both since she had seen mommies, she'd seen daddies...Enyo had both! She thought that was neat. Enyo was the only person she knew with both a mommy and a daddy, though sometimes she wondered what it'd be like to have both. Not important though, right? Xai did a fine job by herself, she didn't need help. Tyyne and Evari were basically old enough to take care of themselves anyway!
At Seidh's curiosity Tyyne hummed, playing with the zipper of her hoodie. How big was her big sister? Now that was an odd thing to ask. She couldn't give...height or anything like that, but she could describe in other ways? "She's...a teenager. She's tall, and she's very pretty. She was with our momma long before I came around. Her name is Evari." Tyyne smiled. There was no question who was the older child in their family, even when they had both been generally the same 'age'. Evari had even tried to make Xai make her leave...yes, Evari was definitely there first. And now there was no question who the older of the two was; clearly it was the one who looked older. "And your brother?"
Tyyne gasped softly and leaned back out of Seidh's way when the girl suddenly darted down to grab the escaping turtle, watching her succeed in the catch unlike herself. Awww! It was still trying to swim while in the air! How cute! Tyyne giggled, blinking and staring at the turtle being offered to her. Really? B-but he was technically Seidh's catch! Well...okay! She smiled brightly and carefully took the turtle, watching as it kicked and flailed a little more until just pulling itself into its shell. "How cute! Thank you, Seidh!" Tyyne giggled again, humming a happy little tune as she made the turtle dance. It was so cute! This was fun! Maybe she'd teach it to Vance! This seemed like something he would enjoy! Oh, but perhaps she'd need to ask permission first. It wasn't her game to share, after all.

Huh! So Tyyne only had a mother too, then? That was something they shared in common and that interested the small girl a bit. As the deer girl started to describe her sister, Seidh’s lips formed the “oh” realization. Yes, her sister was a big sister indeed! More or a big sibling than Fremere was, for Fremere was still a child. “My brother…is a bit taller than me…and he’s only older than me by a little bit.” The girl replied softly and informatively.
After the turtle was caught, Seidh continued to hold it out to Tyyne until she took it. The small girl seemed…pleased. It really was a nice feeling to help people out. “You’re welcome.” She murmured, watching as the turtle retracted back into its shell and her lips twitched in amusement as the girl hummed a little tune and made it dance. She reached into her pocket then and dropped some cheerios into the water for the turtle once it was put done. She glanced around after she did so before turning her attention back to Tyyne. “…There will be more turtles when the weather gets warmer?”
