Day 5: Let Me Lay Tangent to Your Curves

No more flowers on the doorsteps of the dead. The winds blows colder than before, bringing with it the chill of cold and harsh reality coupled with the first snowfall of the year. The_Megal danced all alone in the growing darkness, twirling around and making patterns in the snow.

“What’s he doing?” Hatmaster asked Satius as they walked down to the corner market to try on some new Fedoras they recently got in stock.

“He must be off his rocker and took a stroll around the bend.” Satius replied, barely being able to contain herself with her fake British accent. The two laughed for awhile as they continued walking to the hat master’s shop. Together, they laughed and giggled, and spent a small fortune buying the entire shop’s supply of headgear, so so outlandish that neither of them would be able to wear in public without risking humiliation.

As they walked home, The_Megal was no longer dancing, but a pile of snow had replaced where his body was. As the two walked closer, a pool of frozen blood could be seen from under the frozen water. As they uncovered the body, The_Megal’s body could be seen with a giant icicle sticking out of his chest.

Gasping in fear, Satius and Hatmaster ran away, carrying their hats with them before calling the cops to the scene.

“Gun and ammo are over rated” the Sniper mused to himself as he walked down the street in broad daylight watching the snowfall with the other Sniperville citizens. He wondered which pitiful soul would be his next victim and how he would kill them if not with a rifle. “Maybe with a wooden spoon…” he said out loud as a few concerned citizens gave him an odd look. To play it off he shrugged and replied “For my soup tonight” he continued, laughing slightly. “I’ve got it.” He said again to himself as he rushed back to his hideout and took out scores upon scores of engineering paper.

Constantly writing equations down, he finally had it, a way to kill someone without them being in his line of sight, pending on wind conditions and the integral of the rotation of the earth of course. Now all he needed was a target. Grabbing his pistol and TI-NSPIRE, he rushed to the rooftops.

Unphotographable was just walking along when the bullet hit, and everyone looked around for the shooter, not seeing anyone. The Sniper had literally CURVED the bullet within the barrel to shoot Unphotographable for a mile away, doing massive damage and remaining hidden.

Later that evening, the CK walked into the hideout and looked at the papers the Sniper had been writing on “THIS is what he’s been working on all day? Didn’t he know that he could have just assumed a spherical chicken in a vacuum?” he laughed loudly as he made himself some food.

Kimilia was just sitting down doing her math homework when she heard sirens outside of her window. “Curious” she said to herself as she peeked out the window and was greeted with a boot to the face of a SWAT team member bum-rushing into her living room. “What in all the respect to X is going on here?!” she yelled loudly as the SWAY member handcuffed her securely.

“Kimilia of Sniperville, you are hereby arrested for breaking the rules of math. You have the right to remain simplified; anything you derive will be recorded and reintegrated in a court of law with and without the plus C.” the officer finished as they walked out the front door and into the squad car.

“But all I did was assume a spherical chicken in a vacuum!” Kimilia cried as she almost hit her head on the squad car’s roof.

NOTE: I have a swim meet Friday evening and most of the day Saturday. Plus I've been stuck with a whole bunch of homework and studying to do this weekend. Hopefully I'll be able to keep to the current schedule, but on the off chance that I can not, I'll try to get an update up as soon as I can.
