The little cub padded quietly from the mouth of her den, glancing back occasionally just to check if mother was wanting her for something. But her parents seemed to be all set, and she didn't see the harm in wandering off a little bit. She'd seen her other siblings doing it, and wouldn' go far of course. Just to the little feild with the pretty flowers that she'd seen when they all went down to the lake for a drink yesterday. They were such pretty flowers...
Hadil flopped onto her haunches at the edge of the small flowery patch, her dark eyes bright and soft as she looked at all the vibrant colors around her. She liked pretty things, but she liked to just look at them. After accidentally crushing a flower she'd thought was nice, the little banu had stopped touching them. It was sad to hurt something like that, espeically when she didnt intend to. Being quiet was nice enough. And they were ever so pretty to look at...

"Wait for me," Hawyti called to her best friend, whom was technically her niece. She nearly stumbled trying to keep up with Neelam who was a bit bigger than she was having been born first. Not to mention, Hawyti really did not wish to get dirty or lost, as she had no idea where they were going.
"Neelam," she cried out softly, "I'm serious. Your legs are longer then mine."
Neelam looked over her shoulder to her aunt and gave a large grin as the smaller Hawyti fought to catch up. She really did not want to slow down and they were almost there. She could see the flower place and she could even see another cub looking at them.
"Ah Hawyti, just look. We are almost there. No need to slow down now," she called barreling on. She greatly enjoyed that her legs were getting longer. It was fun to be faster than all of the younger cubs.
She kept right on, running right into the flowers, with a small shout of greeting at the little brown banu who was looking at them.

Her ears pricked up at the sound of voices, and Hadil looked eagerly to see the source. It sounded like other banu-cubs, like her. It would be nice to meet new cubs, she didn't know anyone outside of her family, not really. Not yet. But, maybe...
"Oh," she squeaked in dismay when the bigger one, the blue one, barreled right into the flowers without seeming to worry at all about what would happen to them when she did. "You squished them..." Hadil said quietly, rising to her paws to pad over to one of the crushed blooms. She touched it carefully, trying to straighten it back up, only to have it disintegrate in her paw.
