This is a thread I started in the anime forum a couple of months ago, but was tossed to the Chatterbox because Gaia thought it was a "What's your favourite anime?" thread, which it sort of was. I'm hoping I can fill out all the categories.
I write regularly on a blog I created in March of /05, in which I write about anime (the link to it can be found in my signature). And so, one day me and my friend put together a little anime award thing, but it was limited, because we didn't have a whole bunch of shows to choose from (we were basically only using dubbed anime that can be seen in North America). And so, I want to get the opinions of people on Gaia.
Here's how the awards work. I will give a category name, and then you guys will give the name of the character you want to nominate, and which show he/she is from. Then, once I get six nominees, I will roll a 6 sided die, and a winner will be determined for each category. First category:
Best Hair
EDIT: I changed the comment system of my blog now, so that anyone can comment on my 50-60 anime articles.

I'd have to say.... Kenshin Himura. Why? I wonder how he keeps his hair so shiny and clean even after a battle.
BUt the all time best hair is Abarai Rengi from Bleach. Oh man. When he does his hair its so awesome. Also he puts it in the coolest braid when he sleeps. Its awesome.

alright, we've got five, so I'll contribute the sixth, and thus the first category will be finished. I'm gonna add Inuyasha, because villains in that show (at least, the sick ones) go after Inuyasha.

Roger Smith from Big O. He had so much class it almost put James Bond to shame. I guess Negotiators make a lot of money in Paradigm City. blaugh
