It was Saturday afternoon; even if we were mid-October the weather was not so chilly. But it was probably just a lucky day. Anyway the sun was bright and warm, despite the little wind blowing cold air. Ariel was wearing a jean with a white pullover and white boots. Her hairs were tied up like always. She was carrying a big bag on her right shoulder. Today the plan was to do shopping for Halloween. She went to see what nice goods she could found to decorate the equestrian center. She bought sample to show to her mother, like black cat candles. Now she wanted a new CD, so she went to a little shop in the city. Destiny City had a lot of bigger CD shops, but sometimes she could found older released on this one and it was what she was looking for.

Sometimes, it was in the smallest shops that one found the best of treasures. Today, Xavier was on the look-out for such treasures - that shop often carried older vinyls and the like. Perfect for his turntable and for scratching, really.
He was surveying the stands, carefully going though each disk one by one - most wouldn't have the patience or the time to do such a thing, and this was what he was counting on.

Ariel arrived at the shop. It was not full like always but she could spot a young guys, with glasses. She was impressed by the way he was looking at each disk. She enter the shop and went to the classical section. Looking for something interresting.
As she went from shelves to shelves her noise started to tickle. Then she was looking at the box with old vinyls, and the dust flowing was a little too much. She sneezed. Confused for making noise in this quiet place she turned pink and started to think about leaving.

The sneeze came and went, but thankfully for Ariel, no one seemed to have noticed. Well, the clerk has looked up from her book, and then returned to it just as quickly.
But the blonde-haired boy hadn't even noticed, much less heard the younger girl - he continued to check each vinyl, one by one, with obvious care, as if they were fragile glass. He had to be someone who came often, because the clerk wasn't even bothering to watch him.
It would take more than that to draw Xavier out of his little world.

Ariel tried to look around, look like no one cared about the noise she made. She sighed in relief. She quietly she still looked for vinyl. Then she went in her own world, like when she read. She tend to forget everything around her, just concentrating on what she was doing right now.
And now she was just looking one by one, box by box, hoping her heart will be attracted by one.
Without realizing she got closer to the blonde-haired guy and actually knocked on him. She came back to reality only when she felt the chock.

Well, that worked. Perhaps a little too well. The blonde nearly jumped out of his skin, letting out some kind of squeek of surprise and then... promptly dropped the record he had been holding. s**t... !!!!
"Sorry !" He squeaked out, quickly retrieving the object from the floor. Damnit, he hated when this happened ! Of the things Xavier was self-conscious about, this was the biggest. And the worst. He just hated his reactions to being startled. "So sorry, are... you alright ?" By all appearances, he was convinced that he had bumped into her, and not the other way around.

Sorry? Ariel looked at the boy with surprised eyes. It was me who bump him why he is the one apologizing? She thought. But she was sure it was her so she will not let this boy got the blame for her own mistake.
“I am the one who is sorry, I didn’t pay attention at all, I was so lost in my thought. I am alright, did I hurt you anywhere? “
She was actually looking at the floor because she was a little shy around men, and so she was not able to look at him in the eyes.
Because she was staring at the floor she saw the record the boy dropped. She picked it up, checking if it was not damaged.

The boy seemed just as confused as she was - so he hadn't been the one to cause this ? Well. That was a little atypical. "Im fine." He pulled the record out of the sleeves. "And looks like the record is, too, so no harm done."

Ariel suddenly looked at him in the eyes because she was relieved, and then turned pink. “Thanks, I didn’t break it. And you are ok. I am really sorry; I tend to space out when I am near music or book. I usually bump on peole”.
She took a better look at the boy, she was already too embarrassed so didn’t mind anymore. He looked older than her actually. He had really long hair and he was wearing glasses. She wondered if he was a student too.
“Do you like this kind of music?” she said pointing at the record. “I have another one at home from the same composer”.

"I've heard a few of their songs." Xavier admitted. He'd heard a lot of everything, really, even songs in languages he didn't understand - thank you, internet. "I was just looking for something new to mix with... Just for fun."

Speaking about music actually raised Ariel interest.
“I am looking for something new too; something which will make my heart beat. You are mixing? Are you a dj?”
Here it started, forgot the shy girl, when someone talked about her passions she just burnt inside and start to be talkative.

"I am !" Xavier announced, quite proudly. "Well... ill be one sometime. When im a little order." It was kind of hard to play when you needed to be 21 for most of the places where DJs were expected to be. Bar owners were never very inclined to bend the rules for him.
Their loss, really. They'll regret it once he hit it big !

Ariel eyes went bigger. She actually met someone interesting. Maybe it she will hear something new finally. “You are DJ, awesome.” She paused “You are not 21 ??, you look so grow up”
She smiled. She really forgot about her usual limitation when talking with stranger, she was more her usual cheerful self.
“So bad you are not pro, not possible for me to hear you mixing then” a little disappointment was vibrating in her voice.

"Heh, no." Too bad bouncers were not fooled so easily ! Was it because he was somewhat tall...ish ? "Im 18." He had no idea if he looked older than it, really.
"Well." He pondered, then pulled his mp3 player out of his pocket then handed Ariel the headphones. "I have a song or two on here, I think..." Actual originals, even, not mixes.

“Really? So you are only two years older than me. I didn’t know a lot of boy so my guess can be really wrong” she laughed.
She looked at him pulling out the mp3 player and handed her the headphone. “You sure it is ok?” but without waiting for the reply she put it on her ears and wait for him to start the music. She really wanted to listen to it.
