
Started out with clean, light brown bed head. I don't have any pictures of the application, but here's the run down:
I mixed up the henna two days before (generally you only need to do it once) and used lemon juice and water to bring it to a good consistency. We started at the back of my head and worked our way up to the top.
After that, we wrapped my head in plastic wrap, and then I wrapped my head in a towel to keep the heat in and, therefore, release more dye.

I took my first 30-minute shower in years washing all the gunk out of my hair. I shampooed several times and then wiped down and walls of the shower. Not gonna lie, it definitely looked like someone had explosive diarrhea, but it just smelt like green tea, so no complaints there.
Following the shower, my hair looked like this:

The color matures over about two days, and my hair feels great. Rumor has it that the more often you dye with henna, and more dye your hair absorbs. Here's the day after pics.


All-in-all, good experience! I recommend henna for your hair!
