Welcome one and all to our special spooky halloween event. Sit down on one of our easy chairs, but don't get too comfortable- this party's haunted! Follow along as our special visitors host some pretty cool contests. However, they don't have all year to float around so they expect to wrap up our party on November 6th.
Party all you want! Also, if you want to contribute to prizes, donations are welcome.
Of course though, there are rules to this event.

Caption Contest
Why hello there dearies! My name is Holly Hatchet. I have a cousin named Polly.
I've been feeling a little ghoulish lately, perhaps you can help make me smile? All you have to do is add a caption to these pictures I've found...curled in the hands of the dead fool who fought to the last breath to keep them from me. Anyway, your real host daydreamer_girl told me we need to have some "order" in case you get "confused", like it's a bad thing. Poor fool, she'll never know what hit her.
Rules
1. PM daydreamer_girl your submission. I want to keep them all as a surprise until the end of the contest, and avoid copying. Nobody likes copycats.
2. You can submit two captions (one per pic). But you can only win on once. No matter how good you are.
3. Keep it pg-13! Ok, kiddies?

Halloween sketch contestHi. I lost my memory, tragically. It happened one year ago, on quite an eventful halloween. Or so I'm told. Luckily, I've been able to regain some information, but for the life of me, I cannot remember the exact moment when I had lost my memory. I still can't remember my name. Enough of that though. My goal for you is to piece together my memory slivers in hopes that I can recall what happened last year. What you must do is sketch a scenario which leads directly before my amnesia. You might need two or more pictures, it's up to you. I will know which scenario is the right one if it sparks my memory completely. Be creative ok? You just never know. Ready for the details?
Last year, I took my younger brother trick or treating. He insisted on being his favorite superhero- Undie-flicker man. I am not joking, he actually made this guy up himself. Anyway, I was mortified in going with him dressed like that so I decided to dress up myself, I can't remember what, but all I can remember is that I had a large mask, and a suit that my brother designed as well. I picked out the mask though, to cover my shame.
The next memory shard is my brother and I approaching a small, rickety house. A huge gorilla and a small monkey walked up to the walkway at the same time. Suddenly my brother took out some spare underwear from his pocket. It turned out that this parent and child's costume turned out to be my deluded brother's idea of an ideal nemesis. He started flinging them at the two. I remember the scrawny little monkey started crying. It didn't help that the hulking gorilla man was overprotective of his child. But I don't recall what happens after this. Remember, the next part of my memories are in no particular order, they are jumbled up, somethings might not be relevent to my amnesia at all. This is why I need you to figure out what happened.
This is now approaching to the part where I lost my memory. I recall many yard decorations at this house. They had everything: pumpkins, scarecrows, lawn ornaments, even those fake spiderwebs and those halloweem-themed leaf bags. I had been pushed into some of these at least once.
The second part I remember is the girl who opened the door happened to be a girl I knew. Now I couldn't see very well with my mask, but I could recognise her voice asking "what's going on?" or something to that effect. I remember lights, and laughter coming from inside her house.
At one point my brother grabbed a soggy looking carved pumpkin. I remember coming in front to stop him.
I also remember the baby monkey screaming and running towards me. But that's it. Oh, and father gorilla's eyes really close.
I remember a flash in the trees beside me, but that's all I recall. Oh and ghastly halloween music.
Lastly I remember another group of young trick-or-treaters, my brother's age. They were walking together closely because they tied themselves together for a silly costume idea. They also had masks, so they were walking with their hands in front of them to make sure they didn't bump into anything.
Lastly, I remember waking up, my mask had been broken, toilet paper all over me, and spray painted hair. My brother was hanging upside down in a tree. Part of the hair on my scalp had been missing.
So I ask, what had happened that halloween ago? Can you piece some of the details for me? It doesn't have to be the best looking picture in the world, a simple sketch will do fine. If needs be, captions might be helpful too.
Thanks for taking on this task for me.You have no idea how much this had bothered me this past year.

My brother's costume. Seriously, I think it was a ripoff of another superhero he was obsessed with at the time. I've suffered enough because of this thing. Just don't let him know I took it. He still thinks it's "lost"

Halloween Avi Contest
 Heh heh, welcome! My name is Harold Hopkins, and I have bit of a favor to ask. I am something of a costume designer, but I seem to be having a bit of an artist block! I've been stricken by this tragedy for the past month and it seems that no sort of art prompt so far has helped me out of it. This is where you come in. I need you to design an avatar outfit that captures my attention to help me back on my feet again. Oh, don't worry, you do get compensation through the contest prize that is. This'll void any contract you were thinking of stricking with me. I already have all the lazy low-life assistants I need! Anyway, here are some guidlines:

2. Don't change your avatar until it is posted here.
3. Try not to enter an avi too similar to one already posted
4. No tekteks. Sorry my friends. That will be too easy! I need you to earn my approval. It makes me feel important.

Halloween scavenger hunt
Oh, have you come to visit Nini, to help Nini? Oh you have no idea how relieved Nini feels! Nini has been having a hard time figuring out a spell since Nini needs a few...ingredients to perform it. Would you kind, considerate person like to help Nini find them?Nini is so busy to find them by Nini's self. It'll be so much fun! Like a scavenger hunt! Nini will make it like a contest so Nini's new friends will have fun too! Now before Nini gets sick of hearing Nini's own name, here's what you'll need to do!
This task requires you to use screenshots or this won't work. If not, you'll have to provide links. If you can't prove you found an item than you don't get a point. You can pm the links to Nini's other friend daydreamer_girl so that others don't use the same things you did. Nini likes it when Nini's friends find ingredients themselves!

Army recruits contest
 It happened. The...experiments broke free. I couldn't stop them...they were too powerful. I cannot face my superior like this. I need an army to stop them. What are they you may ask? They are zombie pumpkins. The scientists working on them went too far.
These abominations are a threat to civilian safety as they explode into strange things on impact. I witnessed one with frog projectiles, and another exploding with fancy party ribbon and glitter. Another changed one of my partner's face into a gremlin and afterwards he said that he felt strange burning pains in his face for hours afterward. Now with exposure to outside air, their features are most likely unstable. I was in charge of isolating them, but in the end I failed and they managed to break free.
Here's where I need your help. I will assign you as a zombie pumpkin eliminator squad recruiter. The recruiter with the most recruits will win a compensation award.
Here is your assignment:
Ask people around the site of Gaia if they will help in this special mission. Tell them to pm daydreamer_girl my temporary secretary in this special mission. They must reply "I will join the fight against zombie pumpkins! My recruiter is _______ (your name)". If I can recruit over 50 members in total, each of my recruiters will receive something as compensation.

Winners Uh...yeah. Right. We're Will and Wanda and we kinda don't want to do this, but that wicked daydreamer_girl dragged us to this horrible place and forced us to do this! But, here we are, ready to announce the winners of the contests listed above. See? She didn't even give that important of a job, we have to sit and wait here for a long time until the winners are announced anyway. And...we think we saw a ghost in here.
