Welcome to Kasumi's Student Council Booth! A ghostly young woman sets up a booth in the creepateria, hanging a banner above her. She goes about dusting off the desks she's used for the arrangement, putting up cards and various other campaign items. She's even dressed up nicely for the occasion - a ghastly gray dress and matching accessories. Nothing would be better for a hopeful secretary! Kasumi smooths out the tablecloth used to cover the desks and tries to make it as presentable as possible. Little ghosts decorate the tablecloth. Among the various campaign materials are posters, small postcards, pins and fliers. Kasumi had placed several of the paper materials on designated areas of the school and handed out pins, but what's this? Something else interesting is on the table? Hmm, better ask about that! With as much effort as she's put into the setup, hopefully it will pay off. Kasumi invites everyone to come up to the booth and ask her questions - Why are you running for secretary? What skills can you bring to the student council? Why are you wearing that? Any and all questions are welcome and encouraged. The ghost sits behind her makeshift table and waits, watching everyone mulling around in the creepateria. This thread is an Open RP! People are encouraged to speak to Kasumi or investigate the table, or both! She's happy to answer questions about her campaign and what she can do for Student Council. You can post as often as you like and Kasumi will interact with you as she's able to.

Kasumi's Goals Kasumi wants to make it clear what her goals are for Student Council. She's not just running for the sake of it, no sir! She's got some clear goals in mind and believes she can bring a set of skills that would be very beneficial to Student Council as a whole. On pieces of paper at her booth and posters she's put up around campus, Kasumi displays her qualifications, along with a ghost emblem symbolizing her campaign. Her campaign toys also sport this logo and they are a point of pride with her! Please feel free to ask Kasumi questions about her campaign and her goals. Why is she running? What does she think she'll bring to the campus? What's in it for you? Kasumi's Goals
Organize and structure Student Council to be efficient and fun for everyone involved, especially the student body
Help create events like dances, parades and fun activities to involve as much of the student body as possible
Raise funds to improve the school
Organize and raise awareness for clubs and other social activities

The Campaign Toys! The Rules Everyone is welcome to a special Kasumi Brand Pokebeanball, provided that you post first. I don't want them to go out without any effort because I put effort into them. Go ahead and have your student talk to Kasumi, ask her a question, or simply shuffle up, mumble and converse with others. Either way, a post equals a Pokebeanball! The Pokebeanballs are limited to one per person (or one per student, whichever. That way, people with multiple students can still have a beanball for each.) The beanballs are plush and squishy, and are about the size of a normal human's hand. They make great gifts as well! There is a little tail sticking out the end of the ball, but this does not mean whatever comes out of the ball will be associated with the tail! Kasumi saw the Scareon minipets and just loved the tail, so she slapped it on there. Beanballs unfold at the seam line and reveal a beanbag Pokeplush sitting inside! It is random what you will receive. Roll one 20-sided die while posting that your character is picking up a complementary beanball. This roll will determine what comes out of your ball. Some Pokebeans are rarer than others! You may trade your Pokebean to someone else! Just post in the thread here that you are ICly trading beans. I'm keeping track of who has what during the rolling process so I can stick your names on the beans for safe-keeping. Please let me know if any beans change hands! Rarer beans will be denoted as such when they are unfolded from the beanballs themselves. Have fun! Treat this as a fun way to get to know your other classmates! Pokebean trading can be a great new way to get to know your aspiring Student Council Secretary as well! Kasumi might even have secret Pokebeans to trade if you are active in the thread or are talkative to her!

Tahki shly approached the table. Kasumi for Secretary? Were their elections going on right now?
The gryphon felt bad for not keeping tabs on what was going on in the school. Ah well. Couldn't be helped now.
"Ummm..." Tahki put her hand on the table causing one of the spiders to skitter else where. "..When did elections start?" Her face was quite serious. When DID all this start. Maybe she was living in her head phones a little to much lately. Tahki shifted them awkwardly with her free hand. Music softly pumped from them.

Sin's campaign had been subtle thusfar, she was working out a strategy, but some it seemed already had a strategy. Sin was drawn in and smiled at the booth that Kasumi had set up, well now this was interesting. Perhaps she could show her some support and get a little support in return. After all she and Kasumi did have classes together, and they had gone to The Shed together...of course that hadn't ended so well. She was still bitter about her torn dress, but ah well it couldn't be helped.
"Kasumi!" She walked over and looked at the booth admiringly before smiling. "This is a great idea, inspiring!"

Kasumi gave a friendly nod to the new student, one she'd never seen before! The ghostly girl smoothed out the tablecloth she'd been using and stood to shake the girl's hand. Being friendly was a must in the campaign! Plus this was a new girl and she was wearing the cutest outfit.
"Elections haven't started yet, but the candidates are raising awareness for the time when voting begins." the girl explained, gesturing to the box of plush Pokebeans she'd made just for this occasion. "Please, take a bean! I made them just for the student body. You can pick any one you like, and you can trade with others. Just let me know if you do. Do you have any questions for me about the campaign? Or maybe I could help you with the school in general?"
Taking up her notepad, she jotted down the new girl's information. "And what is your name? You already know mine, but I'd like to get to know all the newcomers to the school."
Kasumi looked up to see Sin and gave her a bow. "It's very nice to see you too! I got your note and your button. Very cute idea. I would expect nothing less!"

Tahki eyed Sin as she walked up to the booth. The two seemed to know each other already which kinda made the gryphon shy a little. Her cheeks turned a soft pink color.
"M-my names Tahki Yuki.... My parents run the Yuki bank..." She was nervous being around two ghouls at once. "I'm actually not new..." She twiddled her thumbs.
It was true she was just that anti social that she hadn't bothered to really make and appearance in a lot of social outings. She'd been content in her room in one of her many kigurumis, reading. She was a book buff no doubt about that.
"Was wondering if you'd be keeping the library a safe place." Tahki awkwardly helped her self to a bean bag. They were squishy and that made the gryphon smile. Another treasure to add to her collection.

Daisuke had promised to help Lilura out for her campaigning and it felt a little odd approaching the one who she was gonna be battling it out against but he just had to see what the ghost girl had in store. There was already students gathering, one he knew vaguely and the other Tahki. He still had the stone she had given him at home and he kind of smiled at that thought as he walked up to the slowly increasing group.
"Hey." He gave a nod and a friendly smile to Kasumi. He had only really seen her at the movie night but saw this as a chance to get to know her better. He would offer the best of luck to all those trying out for the student council, regardless. "I was wondering if I could get an idea about the reasons for your campaigning? I like the idea you have come up with and these pokebeans are great for advertisement and drawing in interest." He praised. They were, it was a great idea and he knew if he took one home, Airi would be all over it like cat-n**.

"Your going for the position of Secretary then? That would suit you well Kasumi, you always seem really organized in class." She picked up and beanie and smiled giving it a little squeeze.
"This is an adorable idea as well, I'm glad you got my note, I hope you'll consider voting for me." She smiled and gave the beanie a little shake. "I'll take one of these, you have my vote Kasumi."
She turned then and smiled at Tahki holding her hand out. "Pleasure to meet you Tahki, I'm Sin Err. Kasumi is very responsible she'd make a great secretary."

Kasumi gave another bow to the new boy who approached the booth. Everyone was welcome to take a bean, whether they were determined to vote for her or not. Really, she had so much fun making them that she loved giving them out.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Tahki Yuki. And you can be sure I'll help keep the library safe. I adore it myself and I could use another bookshelf for my collection!" Kasumi giggled. The library was a very important place to a lot of students!
To the boy, she nodded as he picked up one of the beans. "I thought the student body could use someone who is efficient and organized, and I thought the secretarial position would be best suited for my skillset." she explained, sounding a bit too professional! She shook her head. "And besides, it sounded like a fun challenge. I'm always up for that! And please, feel free to take a bean. One per person though! I don't want to run out."
The succubus was looking very high on Kasumi's list of votes as well. "It's a pleasure, Miss Sin. You're the only one I've seen running for vice president and I believe your confidence will be a great asset to the position. I also adore your button!" She displayed it prominently on the dress she wore, right next to Amjee's.

Rain was happy for Kasumi. While ghosts and undeads didn't see eye to eye (something she gravely wanted to change), ghosts were still similar to undeads in many ways. Perhaps this was their year to make a difference. To stand out from the breathers, the fleshies, etc. Some of her goals were similar to her own as well.
She liked the bean balls. She wondered if she could use it as a hacky sack of sorts. That could be so much fun. She picked a random one up and looked at it more closely. In an instant, she tossed it in the air and kicked it back up with her foot. Nice!
"I like the way you think," Rain complimented the ghost ghoul. Out of fairness, she would at least hear what the others running would have to say but she was really liking Kasumi already. "May I have one of your pins to wear?"

Daisuke chuckled and shook his head as she explained to only take one. A smile was still held across his lips. "Don't worry, I wouldn't dream of taking more. One's perfect enough." He gave a reassuring nod whilst he listened to what reasoning she had behind it, if she was sure her organizing skills were her best bet then he was more than happy with the answer. If she found it fun, then there was no better reason. Gotta do what makes you happy.
"Best of luck to you. I'll be looking forward to hearing your speech, I know all the students will be brain rattled with elections if everyone puts as much effort in to their booth as you have."
The demon ghoul she was also talking to seem to hold and air of confidence about her, which wasn't surprising, in his other classes she had also held the same aura to her. These were connections he needed to keep fully in mind but since the school year had just started he wasn't in such a rush just quite yet but- he did know she had a high chance of winning elections just by the way she presented herself.

"Thank you Kasumi, your support means a lot to me. I hope we both make the council I think we'd work well together. I ran for Vice President to show others that demons aren't just power hungry, we can be supportive! I'm also backing G as treasurer I know he can be counted on."
She flipped her hair back and smiled at Kasumi. "I should set up a booth of my own I'll be sure to mention you Kasumi! I'd best be off I have some assignments to work on."
