Her room had proven to be too distracting. Her Doomfish was incredibly hypnotic to look at and her Demon Cat kept chasing her Mini-Golem around the room. Poor thing. It wasn't the best place to read or study, so she packed up her things and headed out for the library, leaving her pets behind to do as they pleased. She was pretty sure they wouldn't kill each other - and if they all managed to survive, she made a mental note to give them proper names.
Sadly, this was the fourth time she had made this mental note.
The white board of her mind had a nasty habit of erasing them.
The little Vetala made it without too much of a fuss (she only tripped TWICE!), and once inside she found a mostly uninhabited corner. She wasn't sure if she smelled of decomposition, but if she did it would be a good idea to not bring too much attention to herself. Amrita set to studying, focusing all of her limited brain power on the words in front of her. That was fine for a while, but soon it came to a point where she needed to change books; there was a reference in this one that she didn't understand! Simple research (and asking the librarian) brought her to the section she needed, but when she got there, she froze and half hid herself behind the shelves.
Oh no, there was another student there! Right where she needed to be! But that book...she needed that book! But to get it, she would have to - gulp - face them! She made it a general rule to herself that she would try to stay away from anyone who wasn't a zombie...could she break it to try and get that book?
While she contemplated as deeply as she could, she didn't realize how intensely she was staring into the aisle and towards the stranger.

Daisuke pushed his glass up as they slid when he was searching for a book that would help him improve his abilities. A sigh escaped the wisps lips as he closed a book with an unintended slam. Ok, now on to the next. He picked out another and then after a quick skim realized it wasn't the right one either. This process was repeated a few times until it managed to grow intensely dull enough for him to pull up his gaze. His aura felt like a smothering ball of tension. When he slipped his eyes to the side, he saw why. There was someone. . . Staring at him.
He looked either way. Nope, no one else was there. So. . . Why? He looked down at the book he was holding with a blank expression before turning to face the ghoul and holding it out to her. That could be the reason? He felt oddly unnerved to say he was being stared at but he put a smile on his face. "Is this what you're looking for?" Completely disregarding the fact she had been staring besides, she might of run away or felt awkward if he mentioned it.
He walked closer to her, slipping one hand in to his pocket. Looks like this meeting was back to being his geeky self. It was strange most of them had been after hours but it felt good to get out in to the library it had definitely been needed.

She didn't even realize she was staring, so it was probably a good thing he didn't bring it up. When she seemed to be caught looking though, she tensed a bit, gripping the corner of the shelf even tighter with her reversed hand. Oh jack! Ohjackohjackoh---eh? Her gray eye moved down to stare at the outstretched book, barely able to read the title from where she was, but...
"...Yes." For a moment she considered fleeing from the Ghost; in fact she was all tensed up to at least try! But instead she swallowed hard and slipped out from behind the shelf, exposing the more skeletal side of her. Slowly dragging her heels against the ground she shuffled towards him, holding out her hands for the book; a gesture that looked more awkward than it should have been. "May I have it? I-if you're not using it..."
She hadn't met a ghost yet; seen yes, but until now she had gone quite out of her way to avoid them. Sadly her mental promise to avoid everything but zombies was failing, but at least he seemed nice enough so far?

"W-whoa. How freakishly cool!" It just blurted right out! Oh geez, what are you thinking Daisuke! When she revealed herself it was just a reaction he had to her physical state. All her limbs were twisted backwards, in different proportion than a normal physique. With a wider smile on his face, he shook his head slowly.
"Please, excuse my rudeness. I've never met someone so. . . Unique looking." He almost forgot that she wanted the book, since it was his turn to be too busy staring at her features, it could of been took the wrong way but strangely he was admiring. Though, she probably got that all the time. He couldn't see any reason otherwise. "Here, I'm not using it. I don't know why I even picked it up, has nothing to do with my race." He laughed lightly, passing it over in to her hands.
He looked towards the book shelves again. Where to even start looking. He honestly was slacking and becoming lazy, to say he couldn't be bothered searching through millions of the books to find one. A small break would do it? For sure? He sighed inwardly, returning his gaze to the ghoul. Maybe he could just hang out and study.
"Urm, need any help studying?"

Rita jumped a bit in surprise when the Ghost blurted something out. Wait...she was freakishly cool?! Really? Her gray eye widened in surprise, this time well aware that she was staring at him; but this time she was staring at him like he'd grown a second head that was making faces at her. She was a lot of things, but 'cool' was not one of them! Or so she thought. With a bit of a blush on her fleshy cheek, Rita tucked her hair nervously behind her ear, then peered back at him, smiling sheepishly.
"Thank you...I think." She admitted, shuffling her feet closer together and lightly scratching one with the other. "Uh-uhn, it's okay, not rude." There was a little shake of her head, and she once more reached out with her reversed hands to take the book; the only limbs that were backwards were her hands and feet it seemed. Everything else bent properly and as it should. She did ponder his reasonings behind picking up a book that had nothing to do with him, her gaze staring down at it.
"...It's pretty?" She suggested, turning it this way and that. It was in much better condition than her books, and she was trying to not get any bits of herself on it. Unable to think of any other reasons, she held the book to her rotted out chest, swaying lightly from one foot to the other. Study? Did that mean he wanted to study with her? For a moment she looked completely, absolutely, blissfully happy. Someone fullbodied wanted to help her! Life was absolutely fantastic? But did she need help? Yes.
"No." Oh pumpkin! That wasn't what she meant! "Well, yes. But...it's okay if you don't want to. Um. Are you looking for something? I could...help?"

Watching and waiting for a reply, Daisuke must have startled her in to embarrassment, observing he knew that action. The action of nervousness. All girls tucked their hair behind their ear when they were nervous right? Oddly, she was. . . Actually, rather cute. He smiled, her reaction to him passing her the book not what he was expecting but, that was the nerves talking again? Dai really didn't understand ghouls all too much but he tried to unlike half the rest of the boil population.
"Guess, it is?" He raised his eyebrow, with a small nervous chuckle. Even her immediate rejection to him helping her study, startled him. He must of just come across as a wierdo or something but he picked straight back up in a bright expression when she corrected herself. With a delighted shake of his head he said. "No, no trouble at all. I was the one who offered silly." He teased, laughing lightly. He walked past her, waving his hand once to signal to follow towards the seating area, when she proposed to help him look for his book.
His gaze switched to the shelves and a sigh left his lungs. "It's a lost cause." He rubbed the back of his head, with a small smile. "I've been looking for a while, so I think I'll just help you study for now. . . What classes are you wanting to take, I could help you for future reference? I've been in a few that I don't think I've seen you in before?"
He tilted his head, as to wait for a correction. Taking the time to look over her properly instead of a glance. Her face was kind of like a mask, one side still fleshy and the other, you could see a lot of the skull. Black hair, clothes and of course the twisted limbs.

"Oh." Was all she could say back to him. Well, he did ask her first, right? She was pretty sure he did; that meant he wasn't humoring her. Chances were he didn't even know she was here to study! She went off on that train of thought, despite the fact that she had been looking for a book. That meant nothing, indeed! Her slightly slouched pose straightened, her expression brightening just a little after he waved her over to follow him - Hehe, he was so nice! The little Vetala padded after him, her feet shuffling against the ground; she learned earlier on it was much easier than lifting her feet like everyone else.
"I'm sorry." Amrita said sincerely; having a lost cause was never fun! It was not her fault by any stretch of the word, but she should at least apologize for making him sight like that. Bad Rita! Clutching the book to her chest with one hand, the other went to grab a lock of her hair, brushing what remained of her lips with the uneven black ends. She was looking away again, off to the side to avoid eye contact out of habit alone. "I missed the times to sign up...I was here, just...not 'here'." She dropped her hair, instead using that hand to poke at her skull; something very few creatures could do. "I want to take all I can handle." More specifically, as the book she held implied, anything related to possession. She left that unsaid.
"Um. I...I'm Rita." She murmured, then jumped as if surprised before adding: "A-Amrita."

His gaze was drawn down to one of the tables which was covered in books, some forms, stray notes that had fallen helplessly from their reference pages. He carefully collected them up, hating to see a work place messy and unorganized. What was the point in taking notes for certain pages unless you were going to actually, keep it all together. He shrugged lightly at his own thoughts, putting the stack of stationary on one of the shelves, nearest the librarian before going back and slipping out a chair for... Amrita? He tossed his blue eyes over to her, lips stretching out in to a gentle smile.
"I'm Daisuke. Or Dai, which ever you prefer." He shuffled away from the chair he pulled out for her and moved to the next one, lowering to sit in it as he waited for her to join him. He patted the empty seat next to him. "Should I call you Amrita, or Rita?" He knew that some students liked their nicknames a lot more than their full name, he had no problems adjusting to either but everyone worked differently.
"That's ok. Which ones are you most interested in joining? If it's something I don't take either, we could learn at the same pace and help each other. If that sounds more appealing..?"
