Well, that Blob thing was interesting! Scary as all jack, but interesting. Her supply was shoved into a bag she had brought along with her, which was surprisingly a well thought out idea for a girl that had very few brains. Her reversed hands twisted the bags handles, trying her best to stay out of the way of the mass of students coming and going. One of them stepped on her toes, which was enough to make her jump in surprise and to turn around to stare back at them.
Of course there was nothing there but her own off coloured feet. Perhaps she had imagined it? It was possible!
As soon as there was an opening, she shuffled forward and managed to get past the crowd. Wow, so many students! She was more used to a place with more silence, this might take a lot of getting used to. The Vetala had stopped to stare back at some of the crowd, catching sight of very pretty blue and white feathers; it drew her stare for a moment, admiring the bright colours that were so unlike her own.
Then, of course, she realized she was staring at a Monster and, with a little squeak, gripped her bag and shuffled away, trying to move as fast as her backwards feet could take her.

Tahki had stashed what Mr. Blobby had spit out for her in her bag. She'd clean it later. Right now she just wanted to maybe go to the library and find some new books to read. That sounded like a pretty good plan. The library was a nice, safe, place and it had books. Rarely was the library a place of chaos. Rarely.
To the library it was then! Tahki turned course toward the library, only to lock eyes with an undead girl she'd never seen before. Granted, Tahki tried her best not to really notice others or have others notice her. The gryphon shifted uncomfortably, why was she staring? Then she ran away!
The gryphon did not want to look behind her to see why she ran away. Was something happening behind her with Mr. Blobby maybe? Or maybe there was a scene about to happen.
Tahki did not want to look, nor did she want to be near any trouble. The gryphon took off after the nameless undead girl in hopes to escape what ever had given the girl such a reaction.

She heard the fleeing footsteps, but Amrita didn't look back, nope! She just wanted to get back to her room as soon as possibly, and pretend she wasn't staring at the feathered thing with the nice colours and the complete body. Once she felt she was far enough away she slowed down.
Well, she didn't slow down.
She stopped. Completely.
She'd stubbed her heel on some uneven rocks and went tumbling forward; without proper facing feet to catch her balance, she ended up hitting the ground on all fours, still managing to hold onto her bag.
"Oof!" Amrita whined a bit, moving to sit back on her knees, her backwards feet making a perfectly small chair. "Awww man~" She sighed, clapping the dirt and rocks from her reversed hands. Her follower was forgotten.

Tahki kept on running. She wasn't really chasing the undead or even following her. Tahki just wanted to get away from what ever that girl had witnessed. The gryphon was spooked. Seriously, what would give her such a reaction? It must have been horrible.
Then the strange undead girl fell and it didn't look like a pleasant 'trip'.
Normally Tahki was one to avoid creatures she did not know. Normally. But this girl seemed hurt complete with an oof and an awww man~. The gryphon girl couldn't rightfully leave her for safety in the library now could she? Course not.
Tahki nervously approached the girl.
"Ummmmm..." The gryphon held a hand. "Do you.. do you need me to take you to the nurse?" She blinked unsure of what else needed to be said.

Amrita stiffened when she realized the Monster Girl had followed her. Honestly followed her. Stiffening, she stared up at the girl, her eye wide. She stared at the offered hand, she stared up at the girl - no wait, the hand again. Yes. Pretty hand.
"Ah, no, I'm okay." The Vetala was twisting her reversed hands together. Clicking her teeth together, she reached out and grasped one of the Gryphon's, working to get herself back to her feet, however awkward that was. "Um. Thanks." Well, now she just felt silly really, this Gryphon girl seemed nice, and to top it off...she actually helped her up! That was good. Scratching her skeletal cheek with a reversed hand, Amrita glanced at the gryphon, but otherwise refused eye contact.
"Um. Thanks." She murmured softly, unaware she had repeated herself. "I'm...Amrita?" Yes, Amrita was her name, but her confusion stemmed from being unable to remember if she could or already had introduced herself.

Tahki watched the girl twist her limbs. Was this a common talent among the undead? The gryphon girl had no clue. She really hadn't grown up in the company of undead... nor creatures of her age range. She'd been very limited socially and it had taken its toll on her socializing skills.
"T-Tahki Yuki," She stuttered her name after the girl had offered hers. The gryphon was a little nervous. This was the first ghoul her age she'd really talked to. Funny she talked to boils before the ghouls. Ah well.
"What was back there that made you run like that? Was there a fight going on or was there something scary?" Tahkis face melted into concern. She'd been right there and it could have been a number of things.
"I followed you after you started running to escape what ever you were escaping," The gryphon twiddled her thumbs. She watched Amrita scratch her skull cheek and couldn't help but wonder if it hurt to touch ones skull.

Amrita was, however slowly, picking up on the fact that this Gryphon girl was as nervous as she was. It hadn't quite set in just yet, but the Vetala had an inkling that she was going to realize something important very soon. "Tahki Yuki. Tahki Yuki." Tahki was given a glance again, a little lingering one, while Amrita tried to commit the name and face to her white-board memory and hope it didn't get erased. Then, of course, she went right back to avoiding all eye contact, just fidgeting slightly.
"Scary? Um...k-kinda...?" Amrita seemed surprised by the idea, her brow lifting a bit to stare for another brief few moments. Oh pumpkin, she'd have to admit that it was this Tahki Yuki she'd ran from! Would she admit it? This could end badly.
"Um...please don't be mad." She begged the other ghoul, her reversed hands now playing with her sari-dress. "I w-was...running from you..." Biting what was left of her lip, Amrita tilted her head a little more to the side, her hair falling over her face slightly, her gray eye turned to stare at the VERY INTERESTING ground.

Tahki lifted a brow at the fact this girl had been scared off by her. She stood there a moment trying to make sense of what being in halloween town would actually run from her. Was she scary?
The gryphon got a tiny boost of confidence right then and there. Just a tiny bit though. Nothing hugely significant, but it was still something to Tahki at least.
"Really?" She tilted her head before letting her smile uncurl. "You thought I was scary?" Maybe there was something to going to school to learn how to be a terror after all. Just maybe there was something.
"Im not mad at all. Im... flattered some one actually was running from me for once... Uhhhh" She fidgeted, " I-I mean... I don't.. I mean I hope you're not scared of me now. Im not mad... Really Im not," Tahki paniced some as she tried to explain her self to Amrite. The gryphon went on for a while like that.
"Oh dear..." Her head sunk closer to her shoulders and her face turned pink.

Amrita's gaze rolled up to stare at the gryphon while she fidgeted. That was cute. Those gears that had been turning earlier were starting to turn faster, and it donned on her; this girl was just as nervous as she was! Straightening up with a bit of a smile (though any smile of hers was 'a bit'; it happened when half of your lips were missing!), the little Vetala tucked her hair behind her ear, free from her face.
"Your body is very pretty." She commented, brushing off the previous conversation fairly easily. While she was still afraid of Tahki if only for ber being a Monster, she didn't want to admit that anymore. The Vetala loved intact bodies; they were the greatest things ever! This one had more than four limbs, and for some reason that was even better to her. "So clean."
"What did you get?" She inquired next, holding up her bag. They had just left the school supply store, didn't they? It seemed like a good conversation; Amrita didn't feel brave enough to ask Tahki to go anywhere just yet.

Tahki couldn't help but blush a bit at the compliment. She never put much thought about her body before, specially in a humanoid form, but if Amrita liked it then Tahki liked it. Not that she hated it before. Honestly, she was just more used to being in full gryphon form.
"Its ... took a little practice to walk up right," She rubbed the back of her head shyly.
"Oh I got a book," The gryphon quickly revealed the treasure the shop keeper had given her. "Blue and white , my favorite colors," She placed the book back in her bag.
"W-what did you get?"

"Mmm." Amrita agreed, only really voicing a noise. "I understand." She murmured, motioning down to her backwards feet, despite her knees bending like everyone else's. She left it at that though, not wanting to explain why she had to get used to backwards feet. It was a long and embarrassing story; so until she was either out of this body or in a better one, she was just a zombie. Yup.
"It matches you." She said helpfully, gazing at the book. Pretty book; if she ever managed to get said book, she might nickname it 'Tahki Yuki'. If she remembered. Hopefully she would. When asked what she got, she dug around in her bag to show her spoil.
"A stapler? Yes, stapler. I have never used one before." While it was probably something odd to admit, it was nonetheless true. Stapler was an item she hadn't gotten to play with yet. Just pens and papers and whatnot. "I gave Mr. Blobby upside down cake, he seemed to like it." The stapler was put back and the bag shouldered, her ifngers poiting together lightly. She wanted to keep talking; this was great! A monster that was nice and mostly tame! She was just really bad with conversations.
"Um. I'm still kinda new here, so I...don't know what to do...now."

(Does everything in my power NOT to make a stapler joke. Damn you office space.)
Tahkis cheeks flushed red when Amrita told her the book matched her nicely. Did it really? Maybe she'd do her best to copy the books cover and put it on all her books meaning the books she didnt want other people to find out she actually read. Cough cough, comics/romance/tween, cough cough.
Though Julian knew, but that was different. He'd shared a deep secret about him self. It was only fair of course she gave him something about her self. Well to Tahki it made sense.
"Stapler," Tahki eyed the thing. She'd seen a stapler before and even used one. Had to when she was learning the family business. Banking had alot more paper work and alot less guarding then what Tahki would have thought. "Those are very useful for binding multiple sheets of paper together, " The gryphon nodded. Honestly she was pretty bad at carrying on conversations too. The gryphon didnt care right at that moment though, she was having a freaking conversation. Thats what mattered.
"New? I'm.. Umm.. I think we're all kinda new...... Some more then others," Tahki twiddled her thumbs, "I m .. I m.. sure you'll fit in. Your really nice."

( ...Pffftahahaha I DIDN'T EVEN THINK OF THAT WTF XD )
Amrita looked down at her stapler for a moment before she had put it away, clicking it together but not enough to produce a staple. Interesting! Still she looked pleased, especially since the pretty Tahki was giving her some very valuable knowledge! That was one of the nicest things anyone could do for her, as far as she was concerned.
"Thank you." She murmured out for the advice, but when Tahki started calling her really nice...well, she just had to stare. Mouth gaping and eye wide. Wait, Tahki called her nice? Really nice?! Okay, that bit about passing advice? That was nothing anymore. This was the new nicest thing ever!
"Th-Thank you!" Amrita was much louder now, her reversed hands clasping in front of her in pure joy. "You're so kind!" If it were physically possible, she would have stars in her eyes. A little awkwardly she fidgeted again, shifting her weight and rolling her shoulders lightly.
"Um! Tahki, c-can I...be your friend?"

The gryphon was beyond flattered at being called kind. Before she could say anything the zombie girl had made an offer she had never had anyone make so openly before. Tahki's jaw just about fell open. Just about. She wanted to be friends? The gryphon was a little in shock.
Sure she'd had the occasional play mate growing up. Never had some one so openly wanted to be friends before. If it were possible stars would have formed in Tahki's eyes at that moment too.
The gryphon had grasped the zombies hands into hers before she even knew what she was doing and smiled.
"Y-YES!" She had agreed a little too excitedly. A friend? A real friend? Her first? A ghoul like her at that!

And the starry-eyed club was born!
"R-REALLY?!" Amrita cried out excitedly, her cold hands gripping Tahki's just as excitedly. She made a friend! Who was a Monster! A Monster wanted to be her friend! Cloud Nine had nothing on her right now! "Yay!" She cried out next, still wiggling excitedly.
"Thank you!" The little Vetala didn't think to let go of Tahki's hands, mostly because by now she had forgotten that they were even holding hands. She was just...just way too happy! She drummed her toes on the ground, tapping the dirt with her backwards feet.
"S-so what do you like to do?"
