Today was a good day so far. She had bothered Junko a bit but nothing far too serious, it was more like just the occasional poke and prod, just making sure Junko didn't forget she wasn't alone and couldn't just go and do what she wanted. Oh well, Junko would just pretend She didn't exist! She was just a normal girl going to the Maul. Yup. It wasn't someplace she usually went to buy clothes or anything since she usually made her own clothes, she much preferred making her own clothing since that way she could make everything she liked about them and wouldn't have to compromise about anything, but she would never give up the opportunity to look at the styles today and get ideas. She was staring into a shopfront window with a big smile, inspecting each outfit as closely as she could with a piece of class separating her from the clothes. Ooh, she liked that pattern! Maybe she could find something similar to it and use it for a kimono? Oh but it was a bit crazy...maybe if she just used it for trimming, or an obi? That could work!
"Junko, this is boring." She eventually complained, Her voice muffled underneath Junko's hair since she decided once again she'd be wearing it in a bun to keep Her covered. Junko sighed and rolled her eyes, stepping away from the window and digging through her sleeve for a moment. Where was it, where was it...ah! Here it was.
"If I give you your lunch early will you let me have one day where you don't bother me?" Junko asked with a frown, her good mood starting to dissipate with this unwelcome interruption. She seemed to like this idea, making a pleased little noise and making grabby hands with a couple sections of hair. Junko actually chuckled, pulling the hair out of the bun she had it in and offering up a small black and red bento box covered with a blood-stain pattern. She quickly took the box, taking it upon herself to take the chopsticks that were sticking out from Junko's obi to feed herself, shoveling food into her mouth quite noisily. Junko sighed with relief, walking away from that store to check out something else. "Just please don't get food everywhere...?"
"Imakenopromishesh." She told her with a full mouth, taking a moment to chew on what was actually in her mouth now. Mmmm! Delicious!

Sin loved to shop, something about finding the perfect thing to buy, her size, her style, and then sweet possession. She loved buying things, she loved owning the things she bought. If only she had some friends...Sin wasn't stingy, and neither were her parents who paid her bills. Sin loved to buy gifts for others, she loved shopping with others and helping them pick out something as equally perfect as she had. Except she hadn't managed to make any friends yet, which was...painful. She wished she had invited Morrigan, she and the demon were friends, weren't they? How did you know when someone was your friend, was there somekind of secret exchange? She turned away from a rack of tops and walked out of the shop.
Sin's eyes landed on a girl looking in a window and she tried to remember her mothers words. 'Never stare Sin, no matter how startling a monster or another demon or ghost might be, never stare.' Of course it was alright if anyone stared at them, they were succubi, if someone wasn't staring then they weren't doing a good enough job. Sin quickly relaxed her posture and averted her gaze a bit, she had just never seen anyone feed their hair something. The gorgons probably had to feed their snakes, but she had never seen one do it.
She walked a bit closer her curiosity had the better of her now and she simply had to go and try and get a peek at the back of this ghouls head. She pretended to be looking in the same shop window as she had been.

Junko wasn't psychic, definitely not. She couldn't read minds, she couldn't 'sense' things, she couldn't predict the future...but there was one thing anyone could feel; you didn't need to be a psychic to feel and know you were being stared at or stalked. It sent a shiver up Junko's spine and she stopped walking, frowning and picking at the end of her sleeves. Someone was looking at her. She could feel it. Why were they looking at her? Was it because her hair was holding and eating food? Surely there were stranger things to be seen in Halloweentown...right? She didn't seem to notice, or if She did She didn't tell Junko anything about it, more interested in eating as much as she could.
Ugh, this meant Junko had to look and see if her feelings were unfounded or truth. She slowly turned her head to peer through some of her hair, biting down on her lip. There was a girl there, a really pretty girl. Like, really pretty. Gorgeous, even. She was clearly a demon though...had it been her staring? Because the back of Junko's head was eating a box of food quite rudely? She didn't know it but there were bits of crumbs in her hair now because of Her messy eating methods, something she'd have to take care of soon. Ugh. But now what...? The girl wasn't looking at her right now, so many Junko was just being paranoid? She turned her head in a way that made it appear she was just looking into a new shop window, though her eyes were turned in a way that was watching the other girl as discreetly as possible. Two could play at this game!

Sin tossed her hair back and quickly leaned in closer to examine a necklace in the window. It was pretty, but it didn't fully capture her attention, the monster ghoul had spotted her. She casually moved a bit closer pretending to stroll along and glance at the windows. Finally she got closer and then looked up feigning surprise and putting a hand to her chest.
"Oh! Hello...sorry I didn't see you there...I was just loving that dres-shirt, uh dress-shirt." She corrected herself noticing it wasn't a dress at all but a top. "They all kind of start to look alike when you've been shopping for too long." She laughed and waved a hand trying to brush away her mistake.
Now her focus was actually on the ghoul, she wasn't a demon, she was a monster of some kind. She was actually very pretty, and she'd been smart enough to catch Sin red handed in the act of staring. She wasn't sure what to say about that, but it wasn't everyday she saw someone's hair just pigging out, it was almost comical.

Gah! The ghoul was coming closer! Um...uh...d-did she look okay?! Junko actually looked at herself in the reflection of the window in front of her, giving herself a good once-over to make sure she looked okay for an interaction with a demon. Wh-what was that in her hair? Junko's eyes widened and she slowly picked a grain of rice from her hair. Oh no...no! Nonono! She'd told Her not to--"Huh?" Junko forgot about the food in her hair for a moment to instead give the ghoul talking to her the attention she deserved. Dress-shirt? What dress-shirt? Junko turned to look at what the other ghoul was referring to, making a soft 'oh' sound. It was a very nice shirt, yes. But it just further proved that this ghoul hadn't been looking at the clothes at all, she'd been looking at Junko. So obviously she was the source of Junko's discomfort. "I suppose...usually I make my own clothes, so I don't shop very much. I actually only came to get ideas for something new."
Junko glanced from the window to the ghoul, blushing a little when she realized all focus was definitely on her now. Eh heh...u-um...what was she supposed to do now? "I'm Junko. It's very nice to meet you...um...?" Way to be socially awkward, Junko. She continued to just chow away, making content little noises as She did. Occasionally She would pause to pick things out of Junko's hair that had missed Her mouth, though it was only because She wanted to eat everything and not at all because She cared how Junko's hair looked. Oooh! She even cut these cookies into the shapes of little bats! How adorable! Junko made a little face whenever she felt Her picking, discreetly flicking the rice grain away behind her.

"You make your own clothes?" Sin asked curiously and then mentioned to Junko's outfit. "You mean you made that? That's amazing!"
Sin doubted she could make a garment to save her life, she bought them she didn't create them, oh she often had a design idea or two but she simply gave them over to the professionals. She examined the ghouls clothing closer, it was quite the style, she never would have guessed it had been hand made. She smiled and held out her hand for a gentle shake.
"Oh forgive me, I'm Sin Err. Pleasure to meet you Junko." Then she atched as the other ghoul flicked some rice back. "Are you hungry?" She asked uncertainly, maybe not, maybe just her hair was. Still it was worth asking, polite anyway.
"I was just about to take a break from shopping and hit the food court if you'd like to join me?"

Junko blushed at the compliment, smiling shyly and nodding her head. "I didn't make the skirt or the stockings, but I did make the kimono..." She thought it was amazing? Really? W...well...maybe Junko could make something for her if she wanted? If she said everything started to look the same when she was shopping then Junko would be more than happy to try her best at making something for her! She suddenly felt self conscious when she noticed her clothes were being more closely inspected, picking at the end of her sleeve a little. Were all the stitches clean? Were there any places that suddenly needed mending? Was anything puckering? I-it fit right...right? It felt so comfortable on her! Was it dirty? Oh dear...
Oh! Haha! Right, supposed to shake hands when you meet someone. Junko gently took the hand and gave it a shake, letting go soon after. A pleasure? Really? Th-that was great to hear! She gave a little shrug and scratched at her cheek at Sin's question, her eyes flickering toward Her for a moment. Was she hungry? Not exactly...she wasn't quite sure where the food She ate went but she did know it didn't satisfy any hunger she ever felt. But Junko didn't eat much to begin with. "Not terribly...She'd probably take whatever I try to eat anyway. She does that a lot." She'd gotten better about it, in the beginning Junko would be lucky if she could even have a crumb! Years together had taught her of this system of feeding Her so she could actually get things done. Like socializing! She was finding she really liked socializing.
"But I'd love to join you!" Junko was quick to add so Sin wouldn't seem put off, smiling at the ghoul. She didn't know the way to the food court from here so she'd just wait for Sin to take the lead lest Junko start to pretend she knew where she was going, get lost and make a total fool of herself.

"Wow, that's some talent you've got there, it looks amazing. You should do a little show, display your designs..." She flashed Junko a reassuring smile and nodded. Then she tilted her head a bit and looked at Junko's hair for a moment. Did she just say the hair tried to take whatever she ate? Did that mean that Junko's hair was an entity all it's own?
"Oh? Well..well yes then join me, maybe you can just have a drink? JahmbAaahh! Juice makes a killer Slime Protein Shake, they put all kinds of kelp and stuff in it. It's supposed to strengthen your hair and make it shiny, but uh you obviously don't need that huh?" She grinned and flipped her own hair back. She moved to lead the way towards the food court happy to show the other ghoul around.

A show? For her designs? That'd be...that'd be incredible! "W..well I did join the fashion club at school!" Junko said with excitement clear in her voice and on her face, her hopes just going up and up and up. Maybe she could show her designs to her fellow club members when she met them! Would they like them? Sin liked her clothes, perhaps everyone else would as well? She hadn't met her fellow club members just yet.
Hmm...She never took her drinks so maybe she'd be okay with that! Junko appeared more certain as she nodded, deciding it wouldn't be so bad if she got something to drink. Slime Protein Shake..oooh with kelp? That sounded interesting! But the purpose of it had her blinking and staring at Sin, suddenly giggling and pressing her fingers to her lips. "I really don't! But it sounds delicious nonetheless, I'll try it!" She chirped, following alongside Sin. She looked the ghoul up and down with a look of appreciation, smiling and trying not to move her head too much so she wouldn't disturb Her.
"Your own dress is very lovely! I wish I could pull off something like that." But she did prefer her own style, but at the same time she was curious how she would look in something like Sin's dress. It was really nice. Like..really nice. It looked expensive too! Did she buy it? Did she make it? Oooh, Junko wanted to know!

"Fashion club? Ohh that does sound like fun, I have no talent for sewing though. I could model if you ever wanted someone to test designs out on, I absolutely love trying new things." She found herself laughing with Junko as they shared the joke about her hair. Sin blushed and put a hand to her cheek surprised with how relaxed she had gotten. Was this how it felt to just...hang out? She didn't have an agenda with Junko, she didn't really want anything from the other ghoul, it was nice just...having company.
Sin walked up to the counter and ordered their drinks, two medium Slime Protein Shakes. She handed Junko hers and moved to quickly claim them some seats in the crowded food court.
"Thank You, my mother and found this at one of the fashion shows and had it customized for my wardrobe. You could pull this off easily though Junko, you look great, and with your legs you could wear any dress or skirt length." She paused to sip her drink and then licked her lips. "You should come over to my suite and try some things on, you'd probably be surprised at what you look good in."

Junko smiled. "I'd love for you to model my designs! Would...you like them? I mostly make kimonos." Considering this ghoul's current dress she just wanted to make sure her creations would be worn by someone who would appreciate them. It'd be so heartbreaking to make someone something and then not see them even wear it or like it...she'd never made anything for anyone but herself, so of course she would be protective. She followed Sin to the counter and looked at the rest of the menu out of curiosity, almost missing when Sin was finished ordering until suddenly there was a shake in front of her. Oh! That was hers! "Thanks!" She chirped, taking the shake and sipping at it. For the moment She didn't even try to take it, which she was glad for. It was really good! She just hoped She'd let her finish it without taking it Herself and just pouring the whole cup's contents into her mouth without hesitation. Junko hated when She did that, it gave her a headache from the cold.
She looked the demon ghoul up and down as she explained where the dress came from, nursing at the straw of her shake and sitting across from her at whatever table they founded. Wow, that sounded like something like that would cost a lot of money. Junko didn't have a lot of money...just enough to get by. She wasn't poor but she most certainly wasn't as rich as it sounded Sin was. It was her offer that surprised Junko, gasping softly while still drinking the shake and choking on it for a moment. Sh-she looked great? A hot blush rushed to Junko's cheeks as she looked down at herself. Sin was really pretty, like...amazingly pretty...and she was telling Junko she had nice legs and looked great? Wow! That was incredible! She smiled at the compliment alone, rubbing at her throat a bit. Wow. "Thank you! Wh-what? Your...you mean...in the demon dorms?" Junko asked, awestruck. How many monsters could say they'd been inside the demon dorms?! That place was gated up and so far off from the rest! It was like some elite club or something... "I...I'd love to!" This ghoul was so nice!

"If their as nice as what you're wearing now I have no doubt I'd love them. You don't think I can pull off the look?" She laughed and sipped her shake. "Seriously though I'd love it if you designed something with me in mind. Maybe I could even wear it to a school function, show off your awesome seamstress skills." Sin knew in the world of fashion it was all about having your work seen.
"Yeah my suit is in the demon dorms, your welcome to come by..." Sin wanted to invite the other ghoul for a little study party sleepover, but she didn't suppose they were really close friends enough for that. Ah well maybe someday, once she spent some more time with Junko. She sipped some more of her shake and smiled.
"So you just get inspiration from the Maul or do you find creative ideas in other stuff too? I saw an amazing web a black widow had made and showed a picture to one of our designers, he made the most delicious dress for me with the pattern." She spoke with a soft dreamy sigh, ah how she adored her wardrobe. "Your stockings are the perfect touch by the way, it's great to see a ghoul who knows how to accessorize just so."

Junko couldn't help but blush at all the praise and compliments Sin was giving her, nursing nervously at the straw of her shake. This was a lot of pressure now. "Wh-what? No! That's not it at all!" Junko gasped, putting her drink down for a moment. Sin was laughing it off but Junko still didn't want her thinking that was why she was hesitant! "I'm sure you could pull off anything you want! I...just wasn't sure if it was your interest or style." Since she looked like she preferred sleeker things that were more form fitting and...sensual. Sexy. It could be seen from her personality as well as her current selection of dress. Though Junko wasn't really one to judge, she just thought that maybe this was what she preferred? It was suitable for a demon of her stature, right? Junko looked a bit floored when Sin offered to wear one of her designs out and about at a school function where everyone would see it. "Really? Wow I...I'd be honored! I'd be happy to make something for you then!" Not that she wasn't already. "So now Lilura, and you..wow! I've never made clothes for anyone but myself before!" This was so exciting! She was meeting people and making friends and they were interested in her clothes!
Junko would definitely be taking Sin up on her offer, not only because it was a place she was curious to see but because that's what friends do, right? They visit! And...they were friends now, right? She was being so nice to her, and they were making plans! That constituted the beginnings of a friendship, didn't it? Junko thought so! Or hoped so. Hope was good. She picked up her drink again to have more of it before the shake melted and was just flavored guck, humming happily to herself and already thinking up ideas. Oooh! This was so exciting!
"Hmm?" Junko blinked and nibbled thoughtfully on the end of her straw, shaking her head at Sin's question. "Oh no! I get it all over the place, the Maul was just out of curiosity to see if maybe I could be inspired by professionals. Oooh that sounds neat though!" Junko looked down at her kimono. Gray, red, blood stain patterns...it was exactly how she imagined it. Sin even loved her stockings? Yay!
"How can you like them? Half of those rips aren't even intentional she just can't fix them." She suddenly interjected, making Junko pout and glance back at her.
"I could if I wanted to...but...yes! This kimono here was even inspired by a picture!" Junko smiled, giggling a little. "It was of this house! And in the basement the wall was covered with blood!" Her eyes widened a little as she lifted one of her arms high enough for Sin to see the entirety of her sleeves. Clearly the...murder scene had been what had inspired the color scheme and the pattern on her kimono; the blood on the dirty cement wall. She looked very...cheerful about that. To each her own? But yes...it seemed anything could inspire this aspiring fashion designer.

"Soon you'll have your own exclusive line, ghouls lining up just for the chance to get a custom made Junko piece!" She smiled and finished off her shake patting her lips with her napkin and reapplying a coat of venom violet lipstick. She was excited now that Junko had agreed to design an outfit for her, it was nice to find a fashion friendly ghoul friend. She relaxed as she listened to her explain where she got her ideas from and then leaned in intrigued.
Her eyes slid slowly over the sleeves and she smiled putting her hands together and trying not to bounce in her seat. "Oh thats fantastic!" She traced the bloody pattern in the air with a finger and grinned. "Yes I can see...and grey from the basement wall, it works so naturally absolutely horrifically wonderfully!" She leaned back again relaxed and tilted her head.
"You've quite an eye to be able to pull such a stunning design from just a picture, you really brought it to life. Sends a pretty fun little message too don't you think?" Junko obviously wasn't just timid, she had another side to her, a side not to be trifled with, probably the one in her hair.

Junko felt a swell of pride when Sin seemed excited about her story, giggling and watching the way she admired her sleeve. She was ridiculously proud of her work, and with every new person that was pleased by it the pride was just growing and growing. It wasn't so bad! She was usually so worried about her own craftsmanship. The slightest flaw could ruin everything! She just hoped she could do okay on Sin and Lilura's outfits. She really, really hoped she didn't mess them up. "Yeah! If you like spiderwebs so much I can do something with that too!" Ideas were already stirring in her head. She groaned unhappily, doing Her best to ignore all this. Ugh. Fashion. So boring! She wanted to go out and do interesting things!
A message? Junko paused a moment, dropping her arms to pick at the straw of her drink. A...a message? She didn't think of any message she was trying to convey before when she made this, she just saw the picture and suddenly went 'that would be an amazing kimono!' She just...a message? Was there supposed to be a message behind her designs other than they were just...nice? And they made her happy? And possibly even whoever she made clothing for? "What kind of message do you think it says?" She asked curiously, tilting her head to the side.
"Says you like murder." She interjected. Junko pouted back at Her. It did not! She totally didn't think of the reasons behind the blood! She thought it was pretty! She let out a burp and sighed happily, patting the back of Junko's head just under herself as if patting Her stomach. "That was delicious. Can we go now? I'm bored." Junko ignored her, sipping at her drink and turning her attention back to Sin.
"We should come up with something you'll like together." Junko said cheerfully, blatantly ignoring Her for the moment.
