His mother and father divorced then remarried to different people but not before they had a son who grew to be 5 years old. Never to hear from the mother again, the son slowly forgot about her...
~~14 years later~~
A young woman and a a young man, both born to wealthy families of noble blood and a secret that the families didn't tell the arranged couple. The lovers would hang out once in a while and got along great. Never suspecting anything out of the ordinary besides the young man acting odd but loving around his fiancee every once in a while.

Aeval was walking around in the forest as she usually did when they were younger too. She knew of the arranged marriage but was not bothered with it. Just barely turned eighteen a month before, she was to marry her mother's friend's son. She smiled at the thought since they would go back and forth to visit since he turned thirteen. It was easier to think when she had the sun over her head that caught her long platinum blonde hair just right as it flowed down to rest just past her knees and slight hourglass figure. Her deep blue eyes taking in the familiar beauty and wonder of the forest before her.

Rune snuck out of his home and walked over to the forest where Aeval was in. He doesn't know about the arranged marraige yet, but he really did like Aeval. As he continued walking, he spotted her and smiled a bit more as he walked over to her.

Aeval smiled kindly when she saw Rune and thought her heart skipped a beat as he walked over to her. She went to meet him half way though. "You finally got to sneak away, huh?" She teased sweetly. The fact that they were a year apart didn't bother her, and it didn't seem to matter to him either. Embracing him caringly, she looked up at him. "Such a beautiful day." She said this softly as she did.

Rune blushed a bit when she hugged him. He smiled back at her. "Yeah it is." he said looking up to the sky. "And yes I finally snuck away." he said chuckling a bit.

Aeval let go and was in a playful mood. "Rune," She inquired as she took his hand to lead him gently to the clearing they would play in that had a small body of water that was deep enough to swim in. "Do you ever think about it? What it would be like if we were together?" She was a bit shy as she blushed softly, letting go of his hand to walk by the water.

"I have too. Nothing embarrassing about it," She replied and Aeval smiled. "It was only six years ago that we first met," She said softly. The young woman turned to him and was blushing softly with gentle eyes. "Do you think we can?" She inquired. As they said, she should make him think it was his idea.

Rune started blushing a bit more. He scratched his head and nodded. "Yeah...I-I think we can..." he said looking at her, smiling a bit.

Aeval looked away slightly uncertain. "But would you want to," She asked, blushing as she looked out at the water as she sat down on the edge by the water. Looking down at her reflection in the water. Did he really want to marry her? What if she got his feelings all wrong? Then the arrangement would be for not.

Rune continued to look at her. He started to wonder why she was asking him this. He then realized that she really liked him too. He blushed a bit as he walked over to her. "But first, answer me this: Do you like me as well? You know, like like me?" he asked, still looking at her.

Aeval looked at her reflection then poked the water to ripple her image. "I did and still do," She replied as she looked over her shoulder from where she sat. Her smile kind and loving. "I dare say, I love you Rune." She confessed softly the truth that was in her eyes and heart.

Rune blushed a bit slightly when she told him. All he could do was walk over to her and lifted her head, looking directly into her eyes. "I love you too." he said finally admitting it as he softly kissed her.

Aeval was suprised but pleased by his actions as she kissed him in return. This felt so right as she hugged him. Breaking the kiss gently as she looked away blushing. "T-things won't change between us, will they if we love each other?" She asked a bit nervously. She was so happy but she wanted to make sure they could still play their games like they always did before today.
