((Note: this is a continuation of another RP from a different site. Moved for convenience and because it's more awesome here. heart ))
Wondering why Dash couldn't look on the bright side of things now that his ordeal was over, Casper just let the matter drop for the time being. He didn't want to bother Dash by asking him too many questions or by blathering on. However, he did wish the boy would be a little more open with him. Even though they hadn't known each other long, Casper was going to be his bodyguard again, which meant they would be spending much more time together than they had been before.Thinking about it, Casper was a little glad that something so dramatic had happened, although he was sorry that Dash had gotten hurt. If it weren’t for this ordeal, Dash might have never stopped hating him. Even though it was a bittersweet turn of events, Casper took it for what he could; a bridge built.
When Dash’s mother mentioned wanting to speak to him, Casper had to wonder what it could be about. Perhaps she was sore with him for letting such a thing happen to Dash, or maybe she wanted to thank him for saving him in the end. It could even have been about rehiring him. Nodding, Casper said, “I’ll just step outside for a moment and see how Marshall’s doing.” Leaving the room and closing the door softly, Casper walked down the large steps and wandered into the kitchen to find Marshall sitting around reading a book. Raising an eyebrow at him, Casper sat down next to him and waited until the other man stuck a bookmark between the pages and set down the novel. Staring into each others’ eyes blankly for what seemed like forever, Casper was the first one to speak. “Some night, huh?” he said uncomfortably, knowing that both of them were still a little on edge, despite being the heroes of the night. Glancing down at his knuckles, he continued, “I’m glad you were there earlier. If you hadn’t been around, I don’t know if I would have been able to pull everything off like that. Thank Keith for me too when you see him. It’s pretty lucky that he was free to help.”
“Thank him yourself,” Marshall said with a smile. “We’ll all go out for a drink or something later this week when things have calmed down and he wiggles back out of the woodwork. On a more serious note, though, how likely do you think it might be for something like this to happen again? Chances are we didn’t get everyone who was involved, and whatever they were after they certainly didn’t get. What’ll you do if something like this happens again and I’m not around? What if Keith is too busy to help? Yeah, he’s our friend, but remember, he’s a professional first and foremost. If he’s got too much on his plate already, he won’t hesitate to reject you. On top of everything...don’t take this the wrong way, but you’re not as tough as you probably should be for this kind of job. Dash is somewhat high-profile because of his family connections. Also, he’s the youngest member of the immediate family. I think you need to consider things like this a little more seriously from now on.”
Even though he wanted to argue about it, Casper knew that there was some truth to what Marshall was saying, as rude as it was. Still, he had no plans to give up on Dash just because it was a dangerous job. Especially not after he’d promised to stay by the boy’s side as long as he needed him. Taking a moment to think about it, Casper finally said, “I’m not sure what I’ll do if that happens, but I know I won’t give up. I think I can get through pretty well on guts alone. I might not be as ruthless and efficient as you are, but I’ve got more love for my job. Sometimes a good adrenaline rush can be just as effective as professional training.” It wasn’t a good excuse, Casper knew that, but he couldn’t let himself get depressed while Dash still needed him. Whatever happened he would be there, for better or for worse.
((I just used the last post from the RP because I would feel awkward leaving it mostly blank. o.o So it's your turn. We agreed to skip to the next morning, right? How about Casper stayed up with him until he fell asleep and then went back to his place. Now Dash is waking up before he's made it back. is that okay?))

((Woohoo! Yeah! I'm so glad we started this back again. smile ))
It was early in the morning, sun was streaming through the windows and birds were chirping outside. This is what ended up waking the young hotel heir from his light sleep. He rolled over, trying to free his limbs from the tangle of sheets on this bed. He managed to free an arm and he reached out blindly to his bedside table and groped for his cell phone. When he found it, he picked it up and pulled it close to his face, barely opening an olive green eye in order to check the time. It was 8:13, Dash would never be awake that early under normal circumstances, however after the previous nights events the seventeen year old was having some trouble sleeping. He sat up slowly, expecting to see his bodyguard sitting in the same chair he had last seen him in before he’d fallen asleep. However, as soon as he had propped himself into a sitting position he noticed that his room was empty. Casper was gone, and Dash couldn’t help but wonder why he’d left.
He lay back down and curled up under the blankets, trying to block out the emptiness in his room. He couldn’t help but feel that it was similar to what he’d felt the night before as he sat alone in that room, waiting to be rescued. He’d remembered asking, no begging Casper to stay, not wanting to be left by himself, and yet the older male was gone. His bodyguard would be getting the silent treatment when he returned. Dash then frowned, he actually didn’t know if Casper would be coming back. This worried the young hotel heir, especially because he didn’t remember Casper saying anything about leaving when they’d talked before Dash had fallen asleep, and he was terrified to have Marshal as his bodyguard any longer. He had just started to trust Casper, and now he was feeling less trusting of the older male.
Deciding that he couldn't just sit around and mope, Dash sat up once more and made an attempt to get out of bed. He planted his feet on the floor and stood up, he still felt a little dizzy, but not nearly as much as he had the night before. Sighing, he walked out of his room and through his house, making his way down stairs to the kitchen, doing his best to be quiet so that he wouldn’t wake his sisters or his parents. He was going to make himself breakfast. He began moving through the kitchen, grabbing the ingredients and equipment that he would need to make omelets and a homemade habañero salsa. It wasn’t too difficult to do, and it was a good comfort food, which is something Dash felt he needed at the moment
He decided to start with the salsa; it would be best for time management. He washed off all of the vegetables he would be using before carefully chopping up the jalapeños and habañeros he would need for the salsa. Cooking had always something that had been relaxing for Dash, this situation proved to be no different. He was feeling a little bit less scared, although he still didn’t like being by himself. He hoped that someone would wake up soon, or that Caper would hurry up and return, because Dash couldn’t help but feel as though someone was going to sneak up behind him and take him away again, despite the fact that he was in his house; the one place where he should feel safe.

That night, after Dash had fallen asleep, Casper had spoken to his mother and been hired back. There were no hard feelings between him and Marshall, who was actually relieved to be moving on to a different job. In fact, he had already made an agreement with a new client, so everything was going back to how it should be. Even though he had promised to stay with Dash, Casper had wanted to go back to his own home to rest and recover before his next official day as Dash's bodyguard. However, when he'd arrived back at his apartment, he couldn't help but feel it was missing something. After being there for Dash until he had fallen asleep, Casper realized how fatigued he was himself, and let Ms. Welford that he would be back by the next morning. Somehow, he already felt as though he had let Dash down, even though the boy was safe in his own home.
The next morning, Casper cleaned himself up properly and put on his suit once more. It was a bit constricting to wear everyday, but he had to look professional with the circles he worked in. Even if it could get uncomfortable in hot weather, people still said it looked good on him. Once he felt ready, Casper headed off to the Welford mansion once more, hoping that Dash was still asleep. His plan was to sneak back into the boy's room and sit back down in his chair until Dash awoke. As he drove, he began to wonder what kinds of things Dash did on a regular day. Given, it would probably be a while or perhaps even never until things settled down for Dash because of the incident, but this would still be their first day of being together without arguing. Or at least, Casper hoped they wouldn't be at odds any longer.
Pulling through the gates and parking his little black car, Casper looked up at the enormous building towering before him. Even though he'd worked for a few other clients with similarly extravagant lifestyles, he could never get used to how different their lives were from his own. Although he was paid well, Casper saved most of what he made that didn't go into paying bills, so it was strange for him to see people living with so much extra.
As he walked up to Dash's room, he found the boy missing and went to go look for him. First he checked the bathroom, but no one was there. Heading down the stairs again, he considered how they would at least serve as a decent morning workout for those who lived there all the time. Finally wandering into the kitchen, he found Dash preparing food all by himself. Looking around to be sure the boy's parents weren't around, Casper said, "Hey Dash. Sorry I'm late. I didn't think you'd be up so early." Walking over with a smile and standing beside the boy, he looked into the mixture of peppers Dash was preparing. "Oh, are you making breakfast?" Although he had many other questions, Casper restrained himself. After what had happened just the night before, he didn't want to push Dash to talk too much, even about something so innocent. In the past he had seen people break down over the smallest things with no relation to their past trauma, and he didn't need to deal with that.

Dash narrowly missed cutting his finger when he first heard Casper enter the kitchen. He hadn’t been paying attention to anything outside of chopping peppers, and he was still feeling jumpy from the previous night. He sighed and continued working not bothering to turn and face Casper. Despite his previous bitter thoughts about Casper leaving the previous night, Dash couldn’t help but notice how much safer he felt now that Casper had returned so he decided to let it go. There was no point in holding a meaningless grudge. Dash continued cutting the hot peppers on the cutting board in front of him. He was concentrating on no cutting his fingers off. Normally he wouldn’t have to worry about that too much, because he was skilled enough with working with knives that he rarely cut himself. However the lack of sleep and the stress from the night before were slightly impairing his ability to wield the sharp object in his hands.
“Hmmm, yeah…” Dash said quietly, unsure of what else he could say. He wasn’t feeling particularly talkative at the moment, but at the same time he didn’t want Casper to think he was being rude. “Um…did you go home?” He asked his bodyguard, his flat. Dash really wasn’t used to being awake this early in the morning, and wished he’d been able to sleep for several more hours.
Looking down at the cutting board in front of him, Dash realized that he really didn’t feel like cooking anything. This was incredibly rare for the young hotel heir, as he normally was enthusiastic about cooking. He found that at the moment, however, the just didn’t really care all that much, and he didn’t feel like doing much of anything. He still was hungry though, he sighed and spoke softly, not looking at Casper, “I don’t feel like doing this right now, are you okay with just eating cereal?” He knew it wasn’t exactly a fair trade, omelets beat cold cereal every time, however Dash just wasn’t up to going through the long process of making them. “Or I could wake mom up, and she can make you something, it’s not really a big deal…” He was tired, and it was evident in his voice. He tried not to let it show too much. He had already let Casper see him in an incredible vulnerable state the night before, and he wanted to save himself the embarrassment of letting it happen again.

Noticing Dash's lack of enthusiasm, Casper was disappointed to see that the events of the previous night were still bothering him so. Although it was understandable for him to still be shaken, Casper was surprised with how delicate Dash was actually turning out to be. With his bad reputation of partying and causing a general ruckus, Casper had expected the boy to be a little tougher. Perhaps Dash's partying habits were just his attempt to cover up something, but he couldn't be sure. Whatever the case, Casper knew he would have to do his best not to give Dash reason to worry until he recovered emotionally. If something similar happened too soon, it might just be too much for the boy to take. In the past both Casper and Marshall had seen what abusive trauma could push a person to, and it wasn't something either of them wished on Dash.
Scratching the back of his neck, Casper noticed just how quiet everything was. It was certainly a large house, but he had expected a little more life to be present. "Is everyone else still asleep or something? It's seems a bit dead around here," he asked uncomfortably, thinking it would be better if Dash weren't left alone like that. Walking over and sitting down in one of the chairs by the table, Casper said, "Yeah, I did. I waited until you fell asleep, though. There were a few things back at my own house that I had to take care of before I came back here. Besides, bodyguards don't usually sleep over, from what I know." Wondering if Dash was angry with him, Casper said, "I had meant to come back before you woke up, but it looks like you got yourself up earlier than usual." Going off of what Dash's mother had told him, Casper had assumed he would have been able to make it back with plenty of time to spare, but apparently Dash's nerves were even more shot than he'd expected.
Smiling softly when Dash apologized about breakfast, Casper offered, "Why don't you go ahead and sit down? I'd be happy to finish up whatever you started, if that's still what you want to have. I already ate, so don't worry about me. You should just try to relax today, if you can." Pulling out a chair for Dash, Casper got up and rolled back his sleeves a bit. Since he was used to living alone, he'd become a decent enough chef. "Were you making salsa and eggs?" he asked, glancing over the ingredients the boy had set out on the counter. Not wanting to ruin the dish, Casper waited for a proper answer, but wondered if Dash was still up for eating at all.

Sighing heavily Dash put the knife down on the cutting board and looked down at his feet. He wanted more than anything than to go back to sleep, but he knew that wasn’t possible. He was happy, however that Casper was there and that he was no longer alone. Since the rest of his family was still sleeping peacefully, he would have felt bad going to wake any of them up just so he wouldn’t be by himself. When Casper asked him a question Dash didn’t look over at him, he simply nodded, and said quietly, “Uh, yeah…” he said, “Mom usually wakes up a around ten on days she doesn’t have work…and my sisters could possibly sleep all day…” He paused for a moment before continuing, “…Dad is probably awake, but he’s most likely in his office and I don’t really want to bother him…” It was something he’d learned as a child, he knew not to disturb his dad when he was working in his office, unless it was an emergency, he wasn’t to be bothered.
Shrugging as Casper explained why he’d left, Dash felt a little better knowing that Casper had at least stayed until he’d fallen asleep. Even though he wished Casper had stayed, he couldn’t really be mad at his bodyguard, it wasn’t Casper’s job to babysit Dash after all. It was just his job to make sure Dash was safe, which he had done when he’d brought Dash home after the incident the previous night. He’d already done way more that was expected of him as a bodyguard that Dash felt that it wouldn’t be fair to be upset at Casper. “It’s whatever, it’s not like you could have known I would be up this early…I just, didn’t sleep very well last night…”
Deciding it would be a good idea to take Casper up on his offer, Dash slowly walked away from the counter, only stopping to wash his hands at the sink before making his way to the table and sitting down. “Oh, no, you don’t have to, I don’t really want that right now anyway.” He said softly, looking down at the table, but could you pour me a glass of milk, if it’s not too much trouble…” He didn’t want to inconvenience Casper in any way, and he normally would get the milk himself, but at the moment he wasn’t feeling very motivated.

Glad that Dash would at least ask for help, Casper said, "Of course." Checking a few of the cabinets, he finally found one full of glasses and took one down. Reaching into the refrigerator, he poured a little more than half the glass full before setting it on the table in front of Dash. After a moment of silence, Casper decided to try and strike up a conversation. "Are you sure you don't want to eat this anymore?" he asked, looking over at all of the ingredients sitting out. It seemed like a shame to waste what effort the boy had already put into it. "Would you like me to put them in a tupperware and leave it in the fridge at least?" he offered, not wanting to let any of it go bad. As he waited for an answer, Casper took a good look at Dash and realized how different he was from the first time they had met. There were bags under his eyes, and his posture betrayed his broken spirit.
Wondering if it would make Dash feel better to eat something, Casper went through the cabinets again until he found a bowl about the right size for cereal. "Where's the box you wanted? I'll get it for you," he offered, setting the bowl down on the counter and looking through the drawers for the silverware. Although he'd never had to handle something like this before in his life, it reminded him a bit of when one of his friends got dumped, drank too much, and then woke up depressed with a splitting headache. The only difference was that when he looked over at Dash he couldn't think of anything to say that would make the situation better. "You'll find someone better. We'll all go out to a bar this weekend together. So-and-so will fix you up with someone, no problem." When people got dumped unexpectedly, they always acted like the world was ending, but for Dash it seemed as though someone really had broken part of his world. Rather than just hurting him, they had damaged his perception of the entire world, and that was a much more difficult thing to repair.
After he'd gotten everything together, Casper set the bowl of cereal in front of Dash and sat down in a chair next to him. Trying not to stare too much, he carefully watched the boy from the corner of his eye despite himself. Finally mustering up the courage, he said in a low voice, "Dash, if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask. I know I'm only supposed to be your bodyguard, but...if I can't help you with other things too, I feel like I'm not really helping. I mean, yeah I just get paid for keeping you safe, but...I wanna be able to help you if you ever need me. So could you promise to tell me if you need something from now on." On top of the obvious, Casper wanted to test the waters between the two of them, since this would be their first full day together since when they had first met. Back then, Dash had been a handful and for all the wrong reasons, so Casper couldn't be sure how quickly he might return to his old ways, if at all. Either way, he wanted to be able to make him feel a little more normal.

Quietly thanking Casper for the milk, Dash contemplated what he was going to do with all of the food he’d pulled out. He didn’t want it to go to waste. “I’ll clean it up, you don’t have to worry about that…” He said softly, as he fiddled with the glass of milk in front of him. His fingers wrapped around the cool glass and he sighed. He actually was planning on letting his mom do it when she got up. There was no rush to clean it up right at that moment, it’s not like it was going to go bad in the next few minutes.
Looking around the kitchen as he fidgeted in his seat. Dash couldn’t help but feel like he was being babied. It wasn’t that he minded so much; it was just that it felt weird to have someone do all of these things for him even though Dash didn’t really consider this person as a friend. He liked Casper well enough, for now. He wasn’t sure how he’d feel when the older male was trying to control his life again. He picked up his glass of milk and took a small sip before placing the cup back on the table. He wanted to be able to completely trust Casper, but from his previous experience having Casper as his bodyguard, Dash wasn’t entirely sure that was going to work out.
“Thanks,” Dash said quietly as Casper placed a bowl of cereal on the table in front of him. He picked up the spoon and pushed the cereal around in the bowl. It wasn’t the type of cereal Dash would have picked for himself, he would have picked something that was overloaded with sugar that would most likely have knocked him out within the hour and the he wouldn’t have to deal with anything that was going on around him. However, he knew he couldn’t complain and he was grateful to Casper for getting him the food in the first place. When Casper started talking to him, Dash frowned. He wasn’t sure he liked where this was going. He didn’t know what would happen if he did decide to tell Casper things. He had no idea who his bodyguard might tell his information to. He sighed, “I mean…um…You’re not going to just tell my parents everything that I tell you…are you?” He asked, feeling skeptical of his bodyguards offer.

"If you say so," Casper said with a sigh, not wanting to insist when Dash was so lifeless. Letting his mind wander as Dash ate, Casper began to think about what it would be like for them on a daily basis now that he was Dash's bodyguard again. Although he hoped it would be different from before, he couldn't be sure.
When Dash questioned his motives, Casper felt offended yet understood where he was coming from. "No, that would be a break of confidence. I mean, if you aren't ready to tell them yourself, what good would it do for me to tell them? Probably not a whole lot." While he wanted to admit that he would tell Dash's parents anything that might be dangerous or seriously important, he didn't want to try and explain what it meant. If he felt Dash's well being was in danger, he would certainly consult the boy's parents, but for simple things there was no reason to get anyone else involved. It was Dash's choice whether he wanted his parents to know or not.

Nodding at what Casper was saying, Dash felt as though he could trust his bodyguard for the moment at least. “Alright…then I guess it won’t be a problem…” He said, looking down into his bowl of cereal, hoping that he wasn’t making a mistake. When he finished eating, Dash stood up and placed his dishes in the sink. He really hoped that having Casper as his bodyguard wouldn’t cause him any problems like it had the last time the older male was hired as his guard. However at the moment all the seventeen year old wanted to do was sleep and recover from the previous nights events...
Two weeks later in the Final week of August, Dash was awake at six-thirty in the morning, getting ready for school. He rolled out of bed when his alarm went off and immediately headed to the bathroom to shower and begin his morning routine. He was still exhausted, but he knew that a hot shower would help. When he stepped out of the shower into his steam filled bathroom, the seventeen year old grabbed a towel and wrapped it around his waist before heading out into his room. The temperature was significantly cooler in her room, and Dash shivered as he walked over to his walk in closet in order to decide what to wear. Picking out a pair of tight fitting jeans and a tight grey t-shirt, Dash walked out into his room to get dressed.
Throwing the towel onto the floor, Dash grabbed a clean pair of boxer-briefs from his drawer and quickly put them on. He was beginning to air dry, but it was still pretty chilly in his room. He shook he hair out, trying to get some of the excess water out before heading back into his bathroom to do his hair. He blew it out with a blow dryer so that it would be dry before he straightened it. Dash hated having wavy hair; it took so much more for him to do it in the morning. When he finally finished drying his hair, he turned on his hair straightener and headed back out into his room. He grabbed his deodorant from his dresser and sprayed it on before grabbing his shirt from his bed and pulling it on. He grabbed his jeans and pulled them on before heading back into the bathroom.
Once he was done straitening and styling his hair, Dash put in his bright blue contacts and exited the bathroom for the final time that morning. He was basically done getting ready for school. Walking into his closet one last time, Dash grabbed a pair of nice brown sneakers before leaving to get his phone, and his brown messenger bag before heading downstairs to wait for Casper. Dash looked down at his phone. It was seven-thirty, and Casper wasn’t at his house yet. Dash rolled his eyes; he was not going to be late for school. Casper had fifteen minutes to arrive before Dash left him. Walking into the kitchen, Dash grabbed a smoothie from the fridge and sat down at the table with it, drinking it and waiting impatiently for his bodyguard to arrive.

Pulling up to Dash's house, Casper checked his watch. Noticing he had returned a tad late, he hurried inside to find Dash. "Good morning," he said, spying him in the kitchen. Seeing him drinking a smoothie, he asked "That isn't your breakfast, is it?" In the time since he had become Dash's bodyguard, the two of them had gotten more comfortable being together. However, they had never settled into any kind of close relationship. While there wasn't too much tension, they were still a bit distanced from one another which bothered Casper. Although he didn't expect Dash to open up to him right away, he was a little disappointed that they hadn't developed any meaningful contact.
"Sorry I'm a bit late...never thought I'd be getting up this early to drive to school again." Leading the way back out to his car, Casper waited for Dash before pulling away from the house and out into the street. Trying to strike up a conversation between the two of them, he said, "Is there anything you're looking forward to in school this year?" Unfortunately, he still didn't know much about Dash's personal life, other than what went on at home. Glancing over at his passenger, he wondered if Dash had already gone back to wishing he didn't have a bodyguard at all like he used to.
When they finally pulled up to the school, Casper said, "Your parents told me you don't have any extracurricular activities, so I'll just pick you up here when school's out. You've got my number if anything happens. Have a nice day." Driving off after Dash had left, Casper decided to park in the school's lot for the day. As a bodyguard his job was to remain close, even when he couldn't be in the same room as Dash. Taking out a book, Casper began to pass the hours until he would see Dash again and return home. As he read, he realized how lucky he'd been in the past when he had worked directly for an esteemed businessman; he'd been able to walk around and follow him to meetings or his private estate all day and stretch his legs. Now he was relegated to just sitting around waiting for most of the day. 'What a waste,' he couldn't help but think.

Sighing as Casper walked into the kitchen, Dash knew that it was time to leave for school. He didn’t have time to sit around and talk. “Morning,” He said, tersely, not at all amused that Casper was late. As he followed Casper out to his car, Dash frowned. He didn’t like that he would be riding to school in Casper’s car, Dash wanted to drive his own car to school. He’d have to talk to his parents about that. Shrugging at Casper’s question, Dash looked out of the window, pouting, “It’s school, what could I possibly be looking forward to…besides graduation of course.” It was Dash’s final year of high school, and he couldn’t wait to graduate and get on with his life. However he still 180 days of torture ahead of him.
When they finally arrived at school, Dash listened to what Casper had to say and frowned. He would have to talk to his parents about that, there was no way he would be going home right after school for the rest of the school year. After getting out of the car, Dash sent a quick text to his friends, and headed into the main school building. He still had a little bit of time before school started, so he figured he would find his friends and talk. However they didn’t have that much time to catch up before all of the high school students were herded into the large auditorium to listen to the headmaster drone on about the importance of hard work, perseverance and other things that Dash didn’t particularly care about. The seventeen year old pulled out his phone and looked through his phone before finding Casper’s number and sending him a quick text.
→Casper ←Dash Mssg: Soooo bored school sucks. BTW goin OutToLunch later… my girlfriend wants 2 meet u do u want 2 go?
Having talked to his girlfriend in the week before school while he was still recovering, she had expressed interest in wanting to meet Casper, and while Dash didn’t really want his girlfriend to meet his bodyguard because he knew how she could be. Dash wasn’t going to deny her request, however, he knew better than that. Now he just had to wait for Casper’s reply, and for the assembly to finally end. He switched his phone to vibrate so that he wouldn’t get in trouble when his bodyguard returned the text.

Feeling his phone vibrate in his pocket, Casper pulled it out to check. Restraining himself from commenting on Dash's lack of proper English, he responded, [Of course. I didn't know you could leave campus for lunch. Where and what time?] Wondering what Dash's writing was like outside his phone, Casper had to remind himself that he was just there as the boy's bodyguard. While he usually found himself wanting to correct or scold Dash for one thing or another, he knew that it would fall on deaf ears and only push the two of them even farther apart. As a result, he had learned to control those impulses, although only for Dash.
Becoming bored with his book, he checked the time before sending a text to Marshal, asking him how his new assignment was going. The reply came swiftly and before long the two were having a regular conversation over texts. From Casper could tell, Marshal was doing just fine and relieved to be away from Dash. Although he was the tougher of the two, he didn't have the kind of patience necessary to deal with a client like Dash, and Casper had to agree. When his friend finally had to return his full attention to work, Casper was once again left alone with his book and himself.
Remembering his lunch plans with Dash, he began to wonder what the boy girlfriend could be like. In the past they had talked about her very little, just enough for him to get the sense that the two were very close. She must have been a kind and selfless girl to be able to put up with Dash for so long and to win his heart over the way she had. Chuckling to himself at the image he had created of a proper, Victorian girl, Casper forced himself to return to reading his novel, although not without wondering if he would be able to spend every weekday like that for the rest of the year.
((Gah, sorry, but mine's short too. When the two of them aren't together, there really isn't much happening that's important enough to talk about. I mean, my post doesn't even really have anything important happening. ;>.> Anyway....))

Checking his phone when he felt it vibrate on his lap, Dash quickly and discretely sent a response text so as to not draw attention to himself. He didn’t want to get in trouble and risk loosing his off campus privileges. Leaning over a little, he whispered a question into his girlfriend’s ear before continuing his texting.
→Casper ←Dash Mssg: Ok cool. Uh, idk, whtever is fine wit me… Ry sez she kinda wants sushi bt if u dnt like sushi then whtevr is fine… Lunch starts @ 12:30… Oh, nd Ry sez she wnts 2 take her car. that ok?
He sent the text and quickly put his phone back in his pocket so that none of his teachers would notice that he was texting. Soon after he sent to text, the assembly ended and all students shuffled out of the auditorium and to their second period classes. Dash and his girlfriend were separated for the moment but they knew they would see each other later so it wasn’t a big deal. Other than his present class he had two more class before he got out for lunch. He really didn’t want to wait that long, but he knew he had to. Dash hated going to his classes, but he knew he couldn’t just skip, he would feel bad for wasting his parents money, and he knew that if was caught, he would be grounded which would ruin all of his birthday plans he had for the weekend. He couldn't even text any of his friends or even Casper because getting caught by his teacher would mean getting his off-campus lunch privileges taken away for the week. So he knew he would just have to wait, and wait he did.
When fourth period classes finally ended Dash got up and stretched. Having a yoga class right before lunch might not be so bad, if he could find a way to stay awake through it. He walked out of the dance studio and out of the gym to the main building where he could grab his wallet from his locker. When he got there he wasn’t at all surprised to see his girlfriend waiting by his locker. She was a petite girl with bright green eyes and freckles that spotted across her cheeks and her petite nose. . She wore minimal make-up, as she didn’t really need it, nothing more than a little light pink lip gloss and barely any foundation. She wore a pair of grey super skinny jeans and a purple three inch pumps which put her at Dash's height. On top she wore an embellished black tank top and on her left arm was a designer purse. Dash smiled at her and after grabbing his wallet and re-locking his locker, the two walked hand in hand out of school and over to Casper’s car. Dash knocked on the window and waved at his bodyguard wanting to leave as soon as possible.
