Alice, Tori's nanny had kindly (really forced) Tori into taken a mom day only... meaning she was keeping Tori from constantly coddling her kids. She decided she would take her free day and skip school and ditch work in favor of going to the local book store. She'd purchased a book and was currently sitting in the adjoined coffee shop area. A cup of coffee sat on the table, it was purely for looks.

"I just keep running into you, huh?" came an amused by familiar voice. A pink skinned boy with black hair had just finished some shopping and now stood nearby where Tori was, a bag in his hand and a smirk on his features.
While Tori had grown since her last meeting with him, Wynn was still exactly the same. He looked a little sturdier, maybe, from having spent a good portion of the summer doing work around the house with his father, but other than that the boy was exactly as he had been in the dream where he had helped Tori out of a haunted house.
"How've you been?" any animosity Wynn might have had with the girl before the haunted house event was gone, and what was left of his discomfort with her had faded. He still wasn't interested, probably never would be, and he'd rather she didn't try to kiss him, but Wynn was pretty sure he didn't mind Victoria that much.

"At least this time we aren't meeting via an annoying bubble," she said with a giggle. She kicked her foot forward, making the chair push away from the table. It was her subtle way of saying have a seat.
She sat her book down as she pondered about how she'd been. It was so hard to describe how she'd been since it had been a considerable about of time since they last saw each other. "I'm not exactly just a Curio anymore," she said softly as she flashed a pair of fangs. She was sure she wasn't a vampire but a succubus, however she'd still yet to prove it or having anybody prove it to her... However, she wasn't about to react on impulse. She happened to like Wynn, and felt she slightly owed it to the boy to be tame around him. After all he had helped her out a considerable bit in that haunted house.
Though if asked she could honestly say that she'd been someone even scarier than there.
She ran her fingers through her thick curls that she'd opted to wear down today. "Other than that I live on my own and have beautiful set of twins at home," she sighed softly. She pulled her bag into her lap and dug around until she was able to fish out the picture of her babies. She sat it on the table and smiled. It was evident that she was a proud mom.
"You?"

Wynn took the offered seat and vaguely regretted it when he was bombarded with some rather strange information. So Victoria was now a vampire thing, lived alone, and apparently had babies. The pink boy took the picture with a quiet and almost gaping look on his face, rather stunned speechless for a little.
A few moments later, looking at the twins managed to crack through his mind and he handed the picture back. "They're cute, I guess. I don't know much about babies." he admitted, hand darting back to join his other on the handle of his bags almost like a reflex. This was awwwwwwkward.
"I've just been hanging around my house, helping Dad work on it, make it nice and stuff." the boy mumbled with a shrug, "I've been helping my brother with his mapmaking a bunch recently though. And I came here to find some books so I can teach myself a few things." Wynn's life had been a considerable amount more boring than Tori's but somehow he was kind of glad of that.

"Thank you," she said softly in response to his comment about her kids. She carefully placed the photo back in her bag. She couldn't help but notice that she'd done it again... She wasn't exactly sure how but she always managed to make the pink boy uncomfortable.
"And, what is it your aiming to learn?" To say she was curious was putting it mildly. "I always like learning new things... perhaps I could help you out..."

Wynn nodded a bit before looking down at his bag. "Oh, stuff about survival in the wilderness and stuff. I'm going with Dei to help him explore places but I want to be able to take care of us if we get lost or something. Deimos is scared of everything so I need to be able to do it. Some of these books are really weird though."
The pink boy reached into his bag to pull out one he'd bought for interest's sake. It had a large drawing of a grizzly on the cover and said "How to Wrestle a Bear, and Other Important Survival Skills". "I got this one because it looked kind of funny. That and if that dragon boy comes after Dei again, I might be able to fight him off or something. I don't think it'll work but I could try, right?"

"Wrestle Bears," Tori chuckled. "Well perhaps this will help you out in your travels," as she spoke she dug around in her bag. It didn't take her long to find the object she was after, because after all it was sharp. "Here, these are the daggers I trained with... I no longer have use for them as I have a set that was gifted to me," she laid them on the table and winked. "They'll help you fight that dragon as well..." she didn't realize he was speaking of Levi.

Wynn shrugged but smiled and took them. "Thanks. I've been borrowing my Dad's hunting knife - that's what I took when I went to rescue Dei from that dragon boy - but he'd kind of like it back." the boy explained, pocketing them. He wasn't too comfortable with all the winkings, but his initial surprise and awkwardness at her sudden revelations seemed to be slipping away.
"So you had babies. Who with, if I may ask?"

"Your welcome. It is the least I can do to help you in your travels... If you're wanting to learn how to use them properly I can give you the address of my instructor."
And, then they were back on her babies. She couldn't help to smile like any proud mother would. "Switch's son, Kay," her voice cracked. She still had a hard time talking about him. She hadn't seen him in forever and it was better that way. She would remain stronger longer that way...

"Thanks but I think I'll be okay." Wynn assured her. He had to save his money for his traveling with Dei, and his Dad could probably teach him anyway. Reumiae knew how to fight pretty well!
The boy thought for a minute. Did he know Kay? Well, he might've seen the boy at that event where people switched powers and he came home with Flan. Though he only barely remembered people from that, besides Carina. "I don't think I know him. Switch is the lady from the shop, right? I only got to go there once when I was little, and the only person I remember meeting there was that girl, Carina, cause we switched powers. Well, and I remember Flan but he lives with me."

"Alright then," she smiled.
"Yes, Switch is the owner of the Curio Shop. She has blue hair. Kay is really hard to forget to with his dark skin and snake fused to his skull," she knew more of him but she knew that Wynn would certianly not be interested in those details.
Her eyes lit up when he mentioned Carina. "She is one of my best friends. She's been a heavens send to me lately. I'd do anything for her and not just as repayment." She nodded her head matter of factly.

Wynn shook his head, "Never saw her. There was someone in a cloak at the shop the day we went, I think." the boy explained.
He bit his lip when it came to Carina. He hadn't exactly LIKED her but she wasn't the worst person at least? "She was nice enough." he agreed with a shrug. Wynn really had a bad relationship with girls.

"I am sure one day you will meet her," Tori said as she ran her fingers through her loose curls. It was a half down, half up deal. "I didn't expect you to favor Carina... you aren't one much for girls," she giggled. "It took us surviving a haunted house to come to understand one another..."
"Would you like a cup of coffee or something?" She asked when she noticed that he had nothing before him.

"Well that and she had my power for a bit." Wynn laughed, shaking his head. "I don't need to meet Switch. I don't really think I want to go back to the shop just yet."
At her offer, the boy shook his head, waving it off. "No thanks. I don't like coffee much and I'm not really interested in the rest of the stuff they have here. I'll get something when I go home, I'm sure. Thanks though."

"I won't be going back to the Curio shop for a very long while either... Shame, I use to love going there," she sighed softly. If it wasn't for her getting pregnant she'd probably still be going to visit Kay there routinely.
"If your sure. I do have fruit in bag if that is what you prefer..."
